My first time at a high quality salon where I decided to chop off more than 8 inches to donate and get highlights for the first time! I have never spent so much in my life for a haircut and color but every penny was worth it. Thank you to Ayumi for working her magic on me and the warm and welcoming staff! Just booked an appt for my boyfriend for a surprise since he never spends more than 10 $ on a cut and I felt comfortable booking with any one of the staff because I know they will do an amazing job.

Hedi is my hair stylist and she’s just the best. I’ve been going to her for about a year now and couldn’t be happier. She’s very sweet and really cares about her clients and does her best to keep them happy. She gives me her honest opinion and wether I can get the hair color I want based on what my base color is and she’s always right on about it. Her cut is also amazing. Overall as a very picky person I’m very happy to have found Hedi. Micheal the owner is also very nice.

What a beautiful salon! My stylist was Katrina, she is AMAZING! If you want someone who truly cares for the integrity of your hair, see her! She had a very thorough consultation with me since I was a little nervous on lightening my hair and introduced me to an amazing hair care treatment since I like to be pretty blonde. She took her time with my color and gave me exactly what I wanted! She also gives an awesome shampoo (: ! Overall my experience was definitely 5 stars! I will be back without a doubt! I came in with orangy and blonde hair that didn’t have a nice transition from my black hair. Katrina cut, toned, highlighted, and gave me a balayage, making my hair a rich caramel color with ashy blonde highlights! She’s so awesome and sweet and artistic and I’m definitely coming back for touch ups in the future :)

Katrina at Michael Anthony is magical with color. She really knows what she is doing. She is always on time too. Her hair cuts are timely and well planned.

Hedi has been my hair stylist for as long as I can remember and I would never go to anyone else! She always does a wonderful job and makes sure that I am happy with the results before I leave the salon. I even come up from Los Angeles some weekends just to see her. Definitely worth a visit!

Pareesa is amazing! I don’t think I’ll ever go to anyone else ever again only Paressa! She’s so sweet, honest, and understanding. She listens to what you want, but is realistic about what she can actually do to your hair. She knows what I’m looking for and that’s what I love! She styles it perfectly and makes it look and feel so luscious. She does great ombré coloring and hair cuts! I never let anyone cut my hair and she did such a great job cutting it. I will definitely be coming back again and making an appointment.

Go here, This is the best run salon in the area ! Michael is great with the staff and clients. Always greets me with enthusiasm and he loves what he does and it is obvious, A master at cutting and styling hair. He advises me on hair products and all are very affordable. I bought my flat iron at the salon. I have a haircut I can maintain at home. I just love it. Go see Michael and his staff you will love this salon. Every hair stylist is very talented.

A really wonderful salon with great service and very friendly staff. Michael or his wife will always find time to drop by and say hello if they can. The salon is clean and beautiful. I love my hair cut and will be coming back regularly from now on.

Lots of parking in the back! The salon is in a very nice downtown location next to a nice little café. I love that the salon is quite big and seems to have good ventilation. I also love that this salon only does hair, so you don’t have to take in all the extra fumes and dust from nails. We just moved into the area and my husband has gotten his hair cut here twice. I will be getting my hair done as well as soon as its ready and will update my review then! But, for now its definitely 5 stars and I’m sure it will stay that way ;)

Katrina has been doing my hair for the past year and I feel lucky I found her. I naturally have dark brown hair and she makes me look the best blond I could wish. I only wish I found her earlier to avoid all the previous disasters I had.

Katrina is AMAZING! I had dirty blonde hair past my waist and now I’m light blonde with mid length hair (big change!). She took her time in our consultation and she talked me through better choice on what I wanted. She doesn’t take other customers while working with you. Fantastic personality she made my 4 hour apt fly by! She very thorough and ensures your happy. VERY trustworthy to be a good listener and very meticulous on cutting hair (and doesn’t over cut)! I look fabulous darlings!!!

I haven’t written a review on Michael’s salon since he moved from his original location on Highway 9. Ok, it’s been years, but guess what? They have grown into a first class hair salon and you will feel the energy the moment you walk through the doors.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to have many of the stylists cut, color, highlight, and repair (yes…I cut my own bangs! NOT a good idea) my locks. Michael, the owner, is of course in most demand and works magic on your hair! This is a family business, with wife Sharon and mother Connie also part of the team. The other 15+ stylists are the cream of the crop — Ashley, Sherry, Pareesa, and P.J. are just a few of my favorites. It’s like walking into a ice-​cream shop… no matter which flavor you choose, they are ALL fantastic.
This is your go-​to «salon de beaute»! I guarantee you will walk out with a smile and a skip to your step. These are NICE folks.

Best haircut ever! I travel from San Francisco twice a month for the perfect haircut by Michael! He and his staff are amazing, the place is spotless and reasonably priced!

I highly recommend Ayumi! I came in for a haircut and she discussed with me what kinds of hairstyles I would be comfortable with and what type of haircut I wanted. She showed me a hairstyle that she thought we should try out, and so we went ahead with that haircut.
While she was cutting my hair, she would ask me if I wanted it shorter (I expressed that I wanted a short hairstyle), which was so nice because I know that some clients must be nervous about getting their hair cut too short. The result was amazing! She gave me recommendations on how to style my hair and taught me a lot about taking care of my hair while styling it (i.e. only ceramic flat irons, use heat protectant, etc.) which was really helpful because I’ve never really styled my own hair that much in the past. I got so many compliments on my haircut the following days.
Everyone at Michael Anthony Salon was very open, nice, and cheerful. I met Michael and some of the other hairstylists. They are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and make you feel very comfortable. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a high quality cut or color!

This review is long overdue for my hairstylist Paressa. I am that type of person who only wants an inch or two to be cut off at each appointment. Paressa ALWAYS listens to what I want, she doesn’t cut too much off and make me cry which has happened in the past! I’ve been going to her for a few years now and have referred friends who are happy with her services too! She is super down to earth, friendly and easy to talk to. I pretty much give her the low-​down on my life :) She is great at what she does and I always walk out happy with my hair! Paressa is the best, highly recommend!

I just recently got my hair done by Ayumi. She did a wonderful job, giving my ombré a refreshed look for the Fall season. I can’t believe how many compliments I got for it — definitely feeling the superstar status!
