STAY AWAY! Had H&H come in for major repairs after Sandy. Was assured that they were certified and worked with insurance and they would have the work done quickly. They were much higher priced than some others, but seemed responsive so I figured we were getting what we paid for — quality work, quickly. WRONG! It has been a nightmare — after eventually completing the work (H&H not so much, but their sub contractor did a good job in the end), they refused to provide an invoice in the Federal Flood Insurance required format so that we could claim reimbursement from our insurance carrier. I was repeatedly assured they would give us something, only to be stonewalled and told that they can’t provide anything. We still can’t get them to give us an itemized invoice by square foot so that we can get reimbursed by our insurance. I think it’s because they PRICE GOUGED us and have nothing to back up their pricing. Our insurance company seems to agree and unfortunately that leaves us out a lot of money. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A RIP OFF. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau too.
