First time here and I was more than impressed! This is now my favorite restaurant and it is right here in Saugerties!!! I honestly just had the BEST sushi that I have ever had. Entrees were fresh, flavorful and delicious!!! Prices are great the most expensive sushi roll was $ 12 if I recall correctly. Food was delicious, service was great! I cant wait to go back and try more dishes. As mentioned in another review; there have been recent changes in ownership I am skeptical with new places and prefer to wait a while. They gave it a 1 star very confusing to me.

The food and service is always exceptional. I visit the restaurant at least 3 times a month and I have never had a bad dish. The food is flavorful and the portions are filling. I have ordered most items on the menu and I can honestly say everything is tasty! If you haven’t tried this restaurant you are missing out!

We had a birthday party there for 10 people. They went overboard in making sure it was a success. This location has seen probably six or seven different restaurants over the years and these people are trying hard. We have had both take out and eaten in and it is an enjoyable experience. We are telling others to give this a shot.

I haven’t been here since the lucky star was closed. When I see Tokyo station open I decided to take a try, cuz they have Japanese, Chinese and Thai almost everything I can get here. First time we ordered the hibachi chicken and sushi deluxe which we see the price was much better than another Japanese in the town, And they came out very nicely, the presentation was nice, the fish was fresh. For the same food even better but the less money why not come here. we eat here all the time. so glad they open as a Asian cuisine, I can try different food as I want.

I have no problem with their food, actually the food is very good. And I know they all use the low sodium soy sauce which is light but healthier, and that’s more expensive too. And I tried their pad Thai too, it’s very tasty, just exactly the taste from city, but they didnt put too many vegetable though, which is ok for me. Cuz I felt if u know how to eat the pad Thai, the sauce is the most important. And the view is so good, I enjoy myself every time there.

I don’t get the bad reviews — I think this place is really good. I’ve only had take out but my food has always been great — good sushi rolls, a nice salad and when I was picking up my food one day someone was having a dessert that looked incredible. They are nice and I will keep order from there. I hope they stay in business.

This address must be cursed, for every restaurant that opens here is worst then the last. We & our friends called Tokyo Station at 5:30 for a 6:30 delivery, which arrived at 7:30…cold. We ordered three dishes: shrimp curry, shrimp fried rice and shrimp pad thai. Each dish had a single, lonely shrimp, cut into 3 – 4 pieces. All three dishes were bland, to the point of being tasteless. The vegetables in the curry were undercooked and floating in the curry sauce… highly unappetizing. The«pad thai»(I use the term loosely) was not pad thai at all, but a cold lump of gooey noodles, cooked in cheap oil and stuck together like glue. No dried shrimp, no veggies, no peanuts, no lime, no bean sprouts… just greasy noodles. The fried rice had no taste whatsoever, as well as no veggies and three small pieces of overcooked shrimp. Not just disappointing, but charging us for a shrimp dish that has a single piece of shrimp? We felt cheated and over charged, as well as disappointed with the food. Needless to say, never again.

This place has been changing hands quite a bit over the last few years. The latest incarnation is Tokyo Station. Which is actually very good. They redid the interior and added a sushi bar. The place is clean and the wait staff friendly. The sushi is fresh and they have some creative rolls. Presentation is nice. We have eaten here a few times over the last month and are trying different rolls and other dishes. All have been good. Worth a try.

There’s always been a Chinese/Japanese restaurant right around the corner from where we live. Never haute cuisine(can you say that about Asian food?) but good, reliable and convenient. There have been a number of changes of ownership and name, but always generally good. Beautiful view from the dining room, of the Esopus Creek and undeveloped conservancy land across the creek. The newest iteration, Tokyo Station, is a big disappointment. The food is tasteless, the sauces consist(apparently exclusively) of poor-quality soy sauce. I could go on, but why bother. I felt like the person in the kitchen either disrespects the taste of the people he’s cooking for, or maybe it’s simply that he’s a terrible cook. We certainly don’t wish ill for the hardworking people who opened this restaurant, but sad to say, we won’t go back.
