When I was a kid, I used to look forward to nights when my Dad would bring home KFC. So I thought I’d stop in today to grab a quick chicken sandwich. Walked in, people standing around waiting to order. So I asked if they were waiting, they said they were. I waited a while… no movement. Nobody addressing the queue. When I asked the two workers chatting away behind the counter if anyone was taking orders, they both just looked at me and went back to ignoring the customers. I just walked out. Not worth the time. Remember customer service?

I try to make allowances for the level of service at this KFC as evidently the employees are either special needs individuals, on parole, or both. Yet I find it unfathomable that they can’t answer a simple telephone call. Three attempts over a 20 minute period on a Sunday afternoon went unanswered. They seem to be unmotivated and I recommend that a manager be on duty at ALL times to keep these slackers in line.

Just wanted to make a suggestion. If your going to be closing the drive thru window for the time being. It would be great to have some signage, telling customers that. Some people just need to make a quick pit stop and would rather use the drive thru, instead of going inside. It would just be better customer service to give a heads up. I myself would rather know than waste my time. I saw about 3 other vehicles go next door to Taco Bell instead of parking their car and going into KFC. You guys just loss business in a matter of minutes, it would take to put a sign up. Not the end of the world, just a friendly suggestion.

Horrible waiting 10 min now for fried chicken that me and three other cars are also waiting for parked in parking spots. They were also out of chicken pot pie. It’s 9pm on a Thursday night on a main high way. Hello this is suppose to be fast food!

Stopped by on my way home. The guy who took my order made no attempt to speak clearly or an an audible tone. I asked a question, which he ignored. His next statement inadvertently answered my question so, whatever. When he handed me my food I asked if a drink came with it and he lazily told me that it didn’t but I could add one for a dollar… then he swiped my card without asking if I wanted one. I know that this drive thru is pretty terrible on a pretty consistent basis but I never remember that until I’m stuck in a line of cars that aren’t moving. When you finally make it to the window it’s evident that they don’t have a sense of urgency and they make no apologies for it. It gets two stars only because the food is fine.

Who doesn’t love KFC’s Chicken? I know i do, but the KFC in Saugus is absolutely horrid. The Kitchens are absolutely disgusting. There is old chicken on the trays. There tables never get cleaned. The service is terrible, the cashiers don’t even make eye contact and are just rude. And the worst is the menu board. It is so confusing. The prices are sky high. It is 21 bucks for a bucket of chicken and two sides not even with the drinks! It is overall Terrible.

I like the location, but this KFC could use some work. You might get that sense right when you sit at a table. They’re not exactly clean. I’ll also add the lack of a quality service at the register.

I realize that fast food is by no means a gourmet meal, but it should at least be edible. I went through the drive-thru on an afternoon weekday, and only one person was in front of me. I placed my order from seemingly the most miserable person in the world. At the window, I waited for several minutes before being greeting with nothing more than my total. Understandable. It’s a fast food drive-thru on a busy highway. However, it wasn’t until I got to work before opening the bag to check my food. The biscuits were still doughy. Doughy. I wish I was exaggerating. I thought I could toss those and salvage the rest of the meal. But, when I opened the box of chicken, there was a hair in it! At this point I had lost my appetite. I will spare you the horrific leaps and bounds I had to go through to get a refund for the meal. The short of it is, even if you’re starving, you’re better off eating your own finger nails.(or going next door to Taco Bell)

the staff is very pleasant & professional. BUT by the time I got home and checked the bag missing part of my order. tried to call several times and the # was busy. Part of the order missing, food dried out and part of it was cold.

Bartender. hungry…lazy…day off. Fast food is easy but sooooo don’t want McDonald’s so I go online to for the saugus KFC. Great! 2pc drumstick or thing with two sides and biscuit. don’t care how much, I’m sold. Tell friend pick up. hungrrrrry! Came back with 1 breast and 1 drumstick with both and small mash and gravy. but wait I see I’m also charged for one coleslaw and one corn. they are not there. The meal first of all says«2 drumsticks or things(whatever that means maybe that’s a part of the hybrid chicken) 2 sides and biscuit». My friend tells me the order was repeated back to him. the order that I was charged extra for and didn’t get. So I call KFC of saugus on Broadway and get the gm… what? Huh? I can’t even understand you! I work in the service industry. I’m not some poor schlep trying to get some free food… so he promises to give me what I was supposed to get in the first place plus another free side… like he’s giving me a deal. Seeing that you have advertised I wasn’t supposed to pay for the corn and coleslaw anyway. I don’t even care at this point. I go back into rush hour traffic from my warm, comfortable condo in Peabody to claim what is rightfully mine… then get there and wait 10 minutes to show the cashier/server how they advertise their meals and show my receipt.“Yah,” he replies,“our manager tells us to only give one side… we get this all the time.”…ummm you suck. I could have had 2 extravagant burgers at a nice place for what I was just charged. and you know what? Next time keep your genetically engineered chicken to yourself. I’m all set! That was like a warning from God himself. Ugh. Get home and I still didn’t get my coleslaw… they must have an oversupply of mash. How pathetic! Go to McDonald’s or chance getting food poisoning next door at tacobell… truly, truly pathetic. Employees work there because if they WERE in real restaurants they’d lose their jobs. No joke. just really bad. Will opt for real food next time.

You let me score but you screwed someone. I ordered a doublewich meal with mac and cheese and a 6 piece hot wing. Got all that and 2 biscuits, a snacker, wedges, popcorn chicken. When I was leaving noticed the mistake and booked it to the door. Hell I wasn’t going to give it back for it to be trashed, should have tried, with some of their employees mental capacity they probably would have re-served it.

Decent KFC. Hard to judge on the food, as fast food is almost always a hit or miss, so the cleanliness and the service become key. Decent cleanliness here. The service is pretty fast too. Place could probably stand for a remodel, update some of their stuff, but otherwise it’s alright.

I don’t see why this place is bad. I ordered some chicken in a box, and I found some small pieces and one LARGE piece. It was pretty shocking seeing that.

Place was ok… didn’t have everything on the menu but at least the seating area was pretty clean. Food was fresh and not taste like it’s been sitting there for a couple of hours under a heater.

Horrible – even for fast food. Upon walking in and approaching the counter, I waited almost 2 minutes before someone came up to the counter. A man(the manager?) finally walked over and asked if I was all set, and I began ordering. He stopped me, told me to wait, and someone would be right with me, and he went back to reading his computer print out. He didn’t do anything to get anyone to help me… just stood there. About 30 seconds later, a girl(I’m pretty sure she was high) finally walked by, he asked her to take my order, to which she shouted at him«No SHIT.» At this point, I decided I would be calling to complain to the manager the next morning. Despite being appalled by the language, I requested my order for a 20-piece hot wings. Her response was«No,» then she turned around and shouted back to the kitchen asking of they had hot wings. The kitchen yelled back they had just sold a 20-piece, so obviously they were out. She turned back to me and said(with attitude) «If you still want ‘em, its gonna be at leas’ 10 minutes.» Not only did she use offensive language, but she was a total bitch to me. Why did she not just say«I’m sorry, we’re all sold out, its going to be about 10 minutes if you’d like to wait.» ?? Probably because this is the worst KFC ever. I’ve never had good luck with this KFC – same for the Taco Bell next door. Now, I’ll probably never go back to either(since they are both owned by the same franchise). Best bet is to just go to Kelly’s Roast Beef a quarter mile down the street. Their fried chicken and chicken fingers are nothing special, but at least they are reliably friendly, and the food is decent.
