I’ve long been a friend of Donut Shops across America and this place is the real deal. Great selection, friendly hospitable service and a nice array of various filled croissants(chocolate, various fruits, meat/cheese) and bagels. If you go, I strongly encourage the apple fritter, it’s big, it’s heavy and it’s delicious. Some donut shops require you to eat a few til you’re full, a half of an apple fritter here will leave you more than full. Only warning is if you go on Sat or especially Sunday, get there early, by mid day it’s pretty picked over.

Firstly, I actually like Pams donuts, when they are available, I will get to that later. The lady is friendly and the donuts are tasty when i m off my diet and in the mood for one. My kids love the milkshakes and the other day I had a Mango Boba, it was pretty good. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but it sure wasn’t the worst. First; cash only… In this era that’s just dumb. We all know why they do it… hellooooooo IRS. Second; this place could use a good cleaning… broken tiles, dust on counter and clutter everywhere. Third; this is my biggest pet peeve with this place. I get up at zero dark thirty. If I stop by Pams at 5 am or 5:30 am. the selection is sparse. Want a maple bar… oh they dont have them yet… hmmmm bear claw. nope…when will they be ready at 10? because its morning and its time to sell some donuts. When I grew up my neighbors owned 2 donut shops. They started making donuts at 3 or 3:30 am… you know why? In order to fill that case when people started coming in at 5am. That’s just good business. Let’s fill that case give our customers a good selection and move some donuts people. Each time I stop by early to grab a dozen for work I always wonder why the donuts are not ready yet. Good donuts but the selection will be limited if its early.

This place must have the fluffiest glazed donuts. You can definitely taste the quality and freshness in them if you’re a donut lover as much as I am. If you’re able to get up early enough for a cream cheese pastry it’s soooo worth a try; I’m addicted.

Yuck yuck yuck! Have tried this place a couple times and their donuts taste fishy… like old oil is being used. I thought it was just me until a friend made the same comment. Save your calories for a good donut!

I commute into Valencia for work and periodically stop to get doughnuts for the office. Found this gem a month or so ago and the doughnuts were amazing! Decided to go back again and they were just as fresh and delicious! The interior isn’t as modern or visually attractive as it could be, but the fresh doughnuts totally make up for it. I would suggest getting in early to get the fresh ones!

It is a great pleasure to visit Pam’s. I am just so happy to be there for any days, either good or bad days. Pam is so sweet and her donuts are just nothing like what I have had in the past. It is so soft and fluffy inside the donut. It is like a magic. It surely is a soul food.

The donut here is very tasty. They dont reuse the donuts and they are not stale. I love their chocolate old fashion which is under $ 1 per donut. They had a special for a dozen donuts and in the morning it is usually the best. Dont go late in morning as some times they do run out. I like all the chocolate types there…

Not only are the donuts yummy, but the thai tea is the best! I don’t like thai tea at other places because it’s too sweet. Pam is a joy and puts a smile on everyone’s faces. Make sure to get a boston cream before they run out – they go fast. :( I love this place!

Love the doughnuts and Thai tea! Doughnuts are doughnuts — I love Boston Cream and Pam’s is so good(sufficient cream to chocolate to custard ratio). The Thai tea is legit as it’s not super sweet/drowned in sweetened condensed milk or evaporated milk and is made of real tea — not the powder other places use.

Donuts and ice cream are treats. They exist for no other reason than to have and enjoy. This place has both. As far as shops go, it’s fairly standard, glass counters and displays with a few tables and benches. It’s clean and quaint with a hint of coffee and sweet bread in the air. But the staff are friendly and pleasant(at least whenever I visit). The kind of folks you want to meet to start your day. And that’s what makes this place. The donuts and ice cream are, well, donuts and ice cream. Hard to go wrong with that.

Pretty good. Not always fresh so go first thing in the morning. They open super early which is nice. 4:30AM! Lady is a bit rude to the kids sometimes.

Five stars for quality — I’m not a donut expert so take this review for what it’s worth. The donuts are soft and melt in your mouth and have just the slightest bit of crispness. I can usually put a donut down and only eat half. But before I even realized it I’d eaten 2… dangerous. I had a plain cake and a maple glazed. We also had glazed and sugar twists and chocolate cake with chocolate glaze and sprinkles. Now, I did notice they are not very generous on their sprinkles… so if your kid expects a little donut with their sprinkles they may be disappointed — as taste rarely matters at that age. Parking is easy when La Cocina isn’t open. They had a large selection with plenty of everything. I took down a star because they don’t accept debit or credit cards. They make you use their in house ATM machine which just reeks of a rip off. I almost took two stars for that. I mean, come on, even my daughters make shift street side lemon aid stand can accept credit cards.

Been coming here since I was 10(I’m now 18) and used to stop here every morning with my dad so he could drink his coffee and so I can get my hot cinnamon roll donut fresh out of the fryer. Whenever I visit my old town I am sure to stop by.

Cash only setup. Plenty of Buddha statues to gather your inner peace when ordering your favorite coffee and donut. It’s great for those moments when you realize that Starbucks doesn’t have custard filled donuts and you are about to break into cars and steal car stereos to get your fix. Keeps me out of jail all the time.

We love Pam’s! It’s dangerous that we love within walking distance! I love that it’s family owned and operated and they are always so friendly. My three year old daughter loves their sprinkle donuts. My husband loves the apple fritters and I’m a fan of a regular glazed donut. They are always cooked just perfectly and so delicious! The only minor drawback is the«cash only» policy, but I can overlook it because they are so tasty!

I’ve been here twice now and don’t understand the hype. I’m a donut lover and both times I went to Pam’s(including this morning, Sunday, at 7:30am) they didn’t WOW me. Not worth going out of my way for.

Really great donuts! Great service! Only thing I pray for is for them to one day accept debit cards! I never carry cash so having to use the ATM in the shop, pay the fee and take out more $$ then necessary sometimes can be an inconvenience.

Other than cash only, I looooove the fact that I can get my fix of blue bubblegum ice cream here. The selection of donuts are great as well.

Okay, so i realized my other review was rather simplified. i wanted to update cause i fell in love with another one of their items! HAM and cheese croissants! Cream cheese croissants! French cruller’s Apple Fritter’s Hot chocolate with extra Whip! –are ALLSO Delicious! mMm usually come here mornings when i can, but afternoon’s are good too! best to come earlier for better selection since they get rather crowded and their more popular doughnuts sell out more quickly! Family owned establishment, all friendly. even the kid, some ppl may say he’s rude but he’s just naturally mellow. a friend of mine went to school with him and he;s always mellow. lol so that explains it! hes not rude just mellow.
