Sully C’s Bar and Grill

I stopped by this place a while back, and loved the atmosphere. Great food, perfect drinks. Darts, Billiards, and Basketball arcade games.
Sadly, it looks like they are now closed. I wanted to visit last night and the windows are boarded up. I only hope they are moving or renovating, because I would hate to see this place go, though the physical location left much to be desired. (Off the busiest part of route 1 north of Boston)

I went to this bar with some friends a while back and I was blown away! Awesome waitresses, awesome food, pool tables, buck hunter, basketball, even bottomless chips and dip! And probably the best tasting bud light in the north shore. Always the perfect temperature!

This is the dirtiest place !!! The service is the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life… and the food is beyond bad… couldn’t eat any of it! What a waste of my time and money. Maybe if the staff were friendly or even tried to pretend that they cared it might if helped. Don’t waste your time with this place… very trashy!

This place is dirty, the waitstaff is terrible, and my buddy almost got into a fistfight with the boss over $ 5. On top of that, the food/​beer combination made me sick as a dog. Steer very clear of this spot.

If I could give this place ¹⁄₁₀ of a star, I would. My friend and were out all day doing some Christmas shopping and later decided to get some dinner. Unfortunately, we didn’t really plan ahead and ran into long wait times at various other restaurants. I called Sully C’s and they said they had no wait time, so we decided to check them out.
My friend and I were approaching the establishment and she was turned off by all the smoke in it. I convinced her to remain as I knew it was it wasn’t smoke, but from vaporizers. I walked in to double check and they confirmed and and I told them to let me see if I could convince my friend. She was still uncomfortable and I certainly wasn’t going to pressure her when it was supposed to be an enjoyable night out.
As we were leaving, a big guy, had almost a bouncer type look, came out and asked why we were leaving. I told him that my friend just wasn’t comfortable, but I would probably check it out at another time as it looked like a fun place.
This I can get. a little aggressive marketing. If he just said something like «Ok, we hope you check us out in the future,» that would have been fine and I’d definitely come back. But then the guy starting aggressively baiting us to come back. I finally said «Hey, we’re not interested, yelling at us isn’t going to make us want to come back in.» Then he told us to «f*** off.»
We never made it in the door and now we never will. Incidentally, we went to Haily’s, formally Daily’s, were treated well and had a great time.
I will give points to the girl at the front desk though, she was polite, even sweet. Other than that it was a terrible experience. One word of advice to prospective customers is to not bring a girl with you, unless she’s really tough and can take brute yelling and swearing at her.
I’ve run a collection agency for the past 5 years and yes, we are a compliant agency, but we’re still a collection agency. We have far less complaints than this restaurant — a place that’s supposed to be customer friendly. I would never treat a prospective client like that. Every business owner knows that the most important form of marketing is word of mouth. This business should take a hint.
In closing, this guy treated us like dirt and put my friend in fear and that’s not something I stand for. By the way I did a little checking and Sully C’s isn’t registered with the secretary of the state. Their real name seems to be: EVOS GROUP, INC with the owner as: SULEYMAN CELIMLI. He previously owned WORLDSHOPS, LTD, but that was recorded as «involuntary dissolution.» EUROPEAN ELEGANCE SALONS, INC. was shut down by court order. LITTLE ROCK CAFE, INC., another involuntary dissolution. The list goes on.

Really disappointed in this place. Boss lets the staff do what ever they want. Very unorganized and alot of waiting and forgetting of the customers. The food can only be cooked one way well done. Go else where.

The place seems alright when you first get there. Pool tables. check. Elevated and partitioned lounge area with couches. check. Decent size bar. check. But when you get to the bar, it is a different story. My first time was fine. The second time, the bartender had to ask me a second time what I wanted and almost gave me the wrong order. The third time wasn’t that special and I don’t think the bartenders like conversation much. The fourth time, the bartender did not give me my onion rings until 20 minutes after I ordered and this particular saturday night was not even that busy. The onion rings weren’t even that good. The other food is pretty good usually, but this time I could not say the same. I get the distinct feeling that the bartenders here do not care for your business at all. It really is just an ATM to them. I feel bad for the owner of this place, and for anyone else who walks into there too.

If it was an option to rate this ⁰⁄₅ I would. Me and my girlfriend came here with a few people and ordered a tower of beer along with requesting two beer drafts as well. The waitress told us no and that her manager would get mad and that she couldn’t, which is completely fine and understandable. But then she has the manager come over and cause a scene and interrupt our game of pool telling us with her hands on her hips and attitude that we couldn’t do that and that she’d get in trouble. We heard it the first time and it certainly put us all in an awkward citation. And on top of the bad attitude we had horrible service from the waitress. I do not want to ever experience something like that again.

Went for dinner with my wife and daughter because I had a gift card. The bartender is also the server, no high chair offered or seen for my daughter. I unwrap my silverware and there is a meat between the tines of my fork. Steak tips were good, fish was decent and large. My daughter got the pizza which was wet, doughy and just plain not tasty. Bunch of upper middle aged people siting around swearing in front of a 2 year old. Definitely not family friendly.

I will never eat their refrigerated burger patty & toasted stale bun. Go to hooters across the road.

My boss always tells me «sometimes a business doesn’t have to have a „For Sale“ sign on the door, for you to know it’s for sale». I certainly hope this place is for sale, because in my short, miserable experience here all I could envision was a bad episode of Bar Rescue.
We walked in on a slow weekday night. We went to the first bar, which had a bartender behind it, but the lady very rudely and abruptly told us we could only order from the other bar. So we did. Then we needed change for the pool table, and again, they were just very cold and abrupt and pointed to a change machine in the very back of the bar.
Then we went to use the pool table, and it stole our dollar. There were somewhat complicated instructions on putting the money in (load with quarters, push handle, hold for 5 seconds, release)…so we chaulked it up to user error and put in another dollar. It stole that one too, at which point we realized the machine didn’t even have any balls in it.
So we asked for a refund, and all we got was «we don’t run the machines». Seriously?!? This was about 9 pm and as soon as we went outside they shut off all the lights. If you didn’t want to serve us, just say «Hey, slow night we’re closing up». Don’t make the experience so miserable that you drive me away. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve had at a retail establishment in at least a year.

I’ve been here a couple times now. The food is decent, but the emphasis on grease and high caloric content is a bit on the strong side. Everything fried is ultra-​deep fried. The last time we came, we had to avoid the section with the pool tables because there was a strong urine-​like aroma pervading through the entire room

Good drinks, awesome bartenders. All the girls there are super nice. I think a lot of the people whining think they’re hitting a restaurant, but you’re going to a bar and grill. But in defense the food is actually really good.
It has 3 separate rooms. One is large and has about 8 pool tables, the second has the main bar and has a variety of beers and strong drinks. The third is a darts room with couches which is a pretty good idea.
I always have a good time while in there

Worst restaurant I have ver had the displeasure of going to. My friend had the turkey tips and I had scallops, the worst we have ever had in our lives. Also, the waitress could sense our feeling on the food and would come near us, or ask about the food. We cut our losses and are never going back, please spare your tastebuds.

All those who complained about the service are actually lucky. Someone helped you. We sat at our table for over an hour with nothing on it. Numerous waitresses walked past us and the manager was waiting on the table beside us. But not a sole acknowledged us or ever asked if we had been helped.
So after an hour of being completely ignored and overlooked, we sent someone from our party to the bar to get drinks.
Now, you might think this was a one-​time occurrence, a bad night or some strange situation. It wasn’t. This was the third time having terrible (nonexistent) service.
Sully’s, you really need to teach your staff about customer service. There’s no reason that your servers should not notice people sitting at an empty table for any length of time… It comes down to lack of pride in your job and disinterest in having your customers return.
Eventually people will stop coming.

Sully C’s has decent food but the worst service I’ve had in awhile. The waitresses are all seem to be more interested in chatting with each other than serving their respective tables.
I brought a group of eight. Our food came out staggered. Two plates initially, then 2 more 10 minutes later, then 3 more 10 minutes later, then finally my starving friend received his plate 15 minutes after that. All in all it took us almost an hour to receive all of our food.
The owner is there every day but seems more worried about flirting with one of his waitresses than actually managing a business. He lets the bartenders and waitresses run wild.
I would not recommend this establishment to any friends or co-​workers. STAY AWAY!

Never again will I go here. Pricey drinks (draft beer).
The food was nothing special.
The service was (well I’ve been twice and each time I’ve gone the server has told me she’s new) poor.
I admire someone for going out and trying to make their dreams a reality, but in order to survive you need a niche or something to differentiate yourself apart from your competition. A bunch of TV’s and fried food I can get frozen from Costco.
Bottom line, your on Route 1 this could be better.

Not sure what has happened to this place… but man something needs to change ! so I changed my Unilocal review…
Aside asking for two different beers and wait for 20 minutes for the waitress to tell me the beers I ordered they no longer have cause they froze all their lines. (Ok understandable someone behind the bar maybe new can’t figure out if the lines are frozen maybe… oh idk turn down the temp or open the doors) I then ask for a bottle beer… cant mess that up right ?? she then brings me my Stella with the bottle-​cap still attached to it !! (ok maybe its my bad for not having an opener with me) I waited 10 minutes then opened the bottle on the table when she came back I tell her that she left the top (making a joke not being rude or anything) and she literally says at least I brought you a beer…
Case closed never going back here again.

Where to start? Music blaring. It was so loud our waitress had trouble hearing me order. Didn’t have my boyfriend’s beer in stock, although it was on the menu. No biggie, we’re flexible. Decided to get a couple apps as we were trying to catch a movie. After ~30 minutes we were brought our golden BBQ fingers with an apology that there was «only one chef on tonight». According to the menu, chicken fingers come with blue cheese, celery, and carrots. But apparently when you order anything other than buffalo fingers, they «never know what to serve with them.» So they just give you nothing. After we requested some blue cheese, which came out as ranch, we weren’t even concerned that our second app was no where in site. Agreeing that as long as it wasn’t on our bill, we’d probably be better off.
After finishing our beers and fingers, which were just fine frozen bar food, she actually brought our potato skins. We graciously said no thanks got our tab and left.
Few tips…
1. You have an ENTIRE restaurant not being used, it’s completely empty. Do yourself a favor and throw a stage in there. You have a good spot and tons of room, I’m sure local bands would definitely bring the business you’re lacking. And hell, if you’ve got a stage, you may as well install a few poles, think of the potential.
2. I don’t know what you’re using to clean with, but DILUTE it. The first thought I had when walking in was airport bathroom or high school cafeteria. While eating, the hostess cleaned the table behind us and I couldn’t eat another bite. It was nauseating.
3. You’re lacking competent management, wait staff and someone who has a clue in the kitchen.
Don’t think we’ll be back, sorry.

Pretty standard pub food. Good turkey club, wings and cheap beer !
