There was immediate seating here on the patio while the other restaurants had long waits so we decided to give it a try. Great location with even better view of SF. Unfortunately, after we ordered the food took forever to get to our table. Even after the crazy long wait, our breakfast order was wrong not once but twice! The waitress(who lacked professionalism) did remove one breakfast me from our bill. Overall, I would say skip it and move to one of the very nearby choices with much better service and much better food!!!

Had an omelet today, way overpriced for what I got. Would recommend a coffee and some lighter fare, but maybe not an omelet for what it’s worth. Amazing view, and lovely weather, good breakfast place overall.

I enjoyed a very good lunch here today. Spring Salad with added avocado, and a serving of Hummus with pita bread. It was truly delicious. Both dishes were nicely presented and generously served. The Salad was fresh, varied, crisp and good. The house-made hummus was delicious, just the right balance of flavours, served with a few Kalamata olives; a side salad was with it and plenty of pita. The entire lunch was great. Service was quick and friendly. The café is right along the waterfront on Bridgeway, so the outlook is relaxing and very pleasant indeed. You can sit indoors or outdoors, also at a table or up at the bar. Well done, everything was great, thank you.

This place was not good at all. The food was extremely bland & unflavorful. We also ordered a draft beer and it came out at close to room temperature. We could have made a better meal at home. The service was also subpar. We waited at our table for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us and then waited around 30 minutes to get our food. And on top of it we were overcharged $ 2 with no explanation why that was on our bill. Skip this place. There are many other places to go that are much much better.

It was perfectly fine as a pit-stop on a bike ride, nothing especially memorable about it(bar the views)…but fine, I’m a bit tuckered from the exertion and the boat ride back so I’ll leave it there.

Ugh. I hate to be rude on a public forum. The truth is, we just didn’t have a good experience here. I would just recommend Unilocalers go elsewhere. So here are a couple of brief notes. The food was average and it did come out warm… so there’s that. And a great view! Awful service, very slow. Over-priced items. Nice folks, but didn’t seem to mind that they had a restaurant full of people just literally waiting. We asked for butter(for toast), but eventually just got some one from our new friends the next table over. Our new friends laughed and commented on how the staff had no sense of urgency. Hope to come back and try one their neighbors soon!

Came to the town on the weekend because someone left a library book at my office. It’s was my first time in this little town. And with time on a Saturday morning ended up looking around downtown for a few hours before I got hungry. I wanted pancakes and this was the spot. But who was sitting across me while I was having a great pancake breakfast: BARRYBONDS! He was doing a bike ride and had stopped in for the same reason.

This is the worst coffee I’ve ever had. And the waitress confirmed with me that it’s coffee. Unbelievable! Coffee is just water here!

Pretty blah place. Nothing special but serves its purpose. I had the eggplant sandwich with a side salad. The salad would have been great but it was drenched in dressing. The eggplant itself was good but was on those Orowheat sandwich thins which seemed like an odd choice. Service was lackluster as well(e.g., it was difficult to get water refills).

It’s basic breakfast with an up-charge for the view. I ordered the build your own omelette, which was $ 9.95, but cost $ 1 to add anything inside of the omelette. So if I didn’t add anything, just some eggs… what? Didn’t order a cocktail — $ 8.95! Couple next to me ordered bellinis and they did not look like they were worth $ 8.95! Pros: Came out super fast. Amazing view.

You’ve done it. You completed the trek across Golden Gate Bridge, down the hill, and found yourself in Sausalito. If you’re like me, you realize at that moment that there are 5,000 other people who did the same trek and are also tired and looking for a nice place to sit down, grab a cold drink, and some food because you are beat. Considering your choices in downtown Sausalito, Bridgeway Café isn’t a bad choice to make. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with waterfront views(be it across the street), which was a plus in my book. The service was decent, the prices were to be expected in a high-tourist traffic location, and the food was average — again, considering the location and typical clientale, I was not surprised. I had the Tuna Melt sandwhich on sourdough bread, with a side of fries. Everything was alright — nothing that made me fall over in ecstasy over the flavor, but the portion size was decent and I was left full and happy. Service was fine for us, but it appeared that there were only two girls working the entire restaurant, so I’m surprised we didn’t run into any issues as there are roughly 30 tables to be served. I guess because we came during the week it was less busy than on weekends, so be aware that if you’re famished and/or need quick service, this may not be the best chocie. However, if you’re just hungry and tired and want a close place to rest and refuel, Bridgeway Café can hit the spot.

This is a good spot to stop in and enjoy a meal when in town. Just be ready to pay a lot. The majority of the items on the menu were priced at $ 14.75 which was a bit too high for the food that was served. I like the fact that they were right on water and had an outdoor seating area but it was a bit tight in there. You have to expect that from a tourist destination on a warm day. Our server was Daniel and he was really good. Helped us throughout the entire experience which was nice cause we had 3 children with us. It’ gets crazy with kids. He set the expectation for us and told us that they were a bit understaffed and that the food was going to take a little longer than usual so we were prepared. You have to keep watch for parties of 6 or more, they will add the gratuity in the final bill so don’t over-tip! Other than that, it’s a good stop in for the casual tourist.

After taking a tour to Sausilito we were looking for a good lunch place. Bridgeway didn’t have a line and there were tables inside so we snagged one at the front beside the window and with a view of the outside. There were a few tables outside but they were occupied. The restaurant soon filled up and the service isn’t very quick. Good thing we were enjoying a leisurely lunch while on vacation. I decided on the chicken sandwich and salad for $ 15. The sandwich wasn’t bad nor was it spectacular. It was a chicken breast with vegetables on a bun and the salad was decent. There was a line up for the one washroom and it’s a little bigger than the ones of the airplane. This place is just ok but it does have a nice view to go with the ok food.

The portions are quite big here and the price is pretty good. We had the Sausalito burger with fries and the hamburger patty was homemade and came with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. The fries were the wedge fries. My daughter had the beef burrito and it was huge! Stuffed with black beans, rice, beef, sour cream and guacamole and came with tortilla chips and homemade salsa. The chicken sandwich with salad was also a nice and healthy size. There are a few tables outside so customers can enjoy the scenery. Tables inside can accommodate up to eight people. The staff are quick and friendly, the food didn’t take overly long despite a full restaurant. The only thing is that the single washroom could be bigger and cleaner.

Been in twice now that we’ve moved to the neighborhood, and looking forward to our next visit. Service can be a bit slow on a weekday morning when you’re among the first visitors to the restaurant, but once the bloody mary gets set down, it’s all golden. I don’t know what the hell they put in those bloody marys, but they’re certainly not fooling around. Stick with one if you’ve got a big day, or go for a second round if you don’t have to drive your big day! Chicken fried Steak is a monster breakfast for the hungriest diner, and the rest of the items we ordered were fresh and delicious. We’ll be back for sure.

I meant to write a review for this place months ago, but it slipped my mind as I had such a horrible time here I probably just wanted to block it out from my memory. Finding what looked like a PUBE in my food just might have been the most scarring experience of my entire 23 years of existence. Yes, you read that right ladies and gentlemen. A pubic hair. Stay tuned… So my mother and I decided to make the trek out to Sausalito to enjoy a lovely afternoon by the water. Upon searching for nice little cafes, we came across Bridgeway Café and thought it was a cute spot to grab a bite — menu looked good, was decently crowded but not too much so, so we let one of the servers know we’re seating ourselves outside and were told someone would come to us «in a sec». Listen, I’m extremely proficient in the English language, lady, so I know that«in a sec» means«in a second», not 25MINUTES. After repeated reminders and multiple vulgarities whispered under my breath, someone finally comes by almost half an hour later to ask if we needed anything to get started — to which I mentioned how long we’ve been waiting(I usually never do that but good god, 25 minutes) and the guy was just like«oh okay»… Uh I’m sorry excuse me??? Literally the rudest thing ev– okay no it actually gets worse. Ordered a drink so I can calm my nerves and also I just really wanted a Bloody Mary(ended up being mediocre at best). Food — I’m not even going to give this place a comprehensive review of the food because halfway through my meal, I found a strand of hair in my meal and have never felt shittier in my life. You know that feeling… regret, sadness, nausea, disappointment, a single tear rolls down your cheek, and then more nausea, maybe an actual lil vomit sesh. It’s the absolute worst. Anyway, I brought it to the server’s attention and the strand of hair matched the hair on his — and only his — head. When I pointed it out, he DENIEDITWASHIS!!! Are you kidding??? Own up to that shit, my dude, you’re looking real stupid right now. I literally just stared at him, and was like«Yah I’m not paying for this meal… your hair is in it.» Unbelievable. After some back and forth about how it was/wasn’t his strand of hair, I absolutely refused to pay for the full meal because 1. hair and 2. what kind of shitty ass service is that, where you don’t admit what you’ve done and deny something I can see in plain sight. I was about ready to just place the hair back on his head. In the end, my drink was comped(that’s it?), but I vowed in my mind to write the most scathing, horrible review for this place and recommend anyone that has the patience to read through this novel to NOT patronize this horrendous establishment. Go to any other café. Even grab a muffin from Starbucks. Save yourself.

The view is amazing just amazing. Service is also great. However the food. Ugh not so much. We were a group of 4 and none of us liked our food. I had the egg Benedict and it was sooo heavy and soggy. The prices are decent. Wont be back though.
