Malcom is brilliant! Simrad is far less so. Once you have bought one of their products and kept it, it can go out of date. When that happens you are simply abandoned. I would never buy another Simrad product.

A fellow boater recommended Johnson Hicks to help me with an electrical problem. I was referred to Malcom and I have to tell you that I have never had this type of excellent and professional service in all my years of boating. Malcom made a stop at the end of the day to help restore the power on my boat which he did in short order. He also did a quick inspection on the boat and provided some advice on things which could use some attention. I’m also in the need of a new motor to replace my starboard engine and he gave me some advice and connections to help me out. He also checked with my local engine repair company to see what he could learn to further help me out with the purchase and installation of my new engine. Once complete he followed up with the same information he covered with me over the phone. What company does all this today? Johnson and Hicks that’s who! This is the kind of service that wins customers for life! Thanks a bunch Malcom.

These guys know their stuff, and I have yet to hear anyone complain about bad service. Usually if your an azz bag you get crappy service no matter where you go. Treat people like chit, get treated like chit, simple. Two thumbs up here.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have had them work on my Grand Banks in the past and have been OK with waiting for them to get around to it. My most recent experience with them was unbelivable. Incredibly cocky attitude, not helpful in the least. Watied a month to have some service on my boat, the person found the door locked and left rather then calling me to explain where the key was. Galen called and told him where it was to no avail. One month later and not even so much as a courtesy call from them. Just called Galen and got the impression that I would have to wait a long time once again, and at this point time to find somebody else! I will never call them again. By the way I had just bought a brand new Boston Whaler and was looking for an entire electronics package for it and so glad that I am not giving my money to these idiots.
