We, a family of 4 with a tween and a teen, came here on a Saturday for brunch. The egg sandwich was delicious. The omelet was custom made to my hubby’s specification. We also ordered a warm chicken salad. The salad was fantastic. Price is very good too. Staff was very friendly.

This review is based on the morning pastries and coffee. We ordered a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, latte and regular coffee. The cinnamon roll is one of the best around. It is really cinnamon-y and the dough is really well made. The croissant is buttery and flaky just as a croissant is supposed to be made. For me, the star of the show is the latte. I usually only like to drink my own homemade lattes but I took a chance and this latte is superb. I love the local flavor of this spot. It seems that every local person stops by for a friendly word and cup of coffee. It is fun to watch/experience the sense of community.

Tried the vegetable plate which was really fresh and tasty. It’s a self-serve steel so the line to get food was pretty hectic. For Sausalito the prices were pretty reasonable and if you get a seat outside the views are nice, albeit a little blocked by parked cars. Baked goods looked delicious as well…

Very delicious food. Everything is fresh, rich, so good. Very reasonably priced. We sat outside. The weather was perfect. The ice cream is wonderful.

This place is awesome. Grab a seat outside on the sidewalk and soak up the view. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Croissant with egg cheese and bacon is fantastic. The blueberry banana bread is insane! Get coffee to go on the way out. Will be back.

Glad I stopped by this shop. It’s at the beginning of the long road at the start of Sausalito downtown right after you make your way down the big hill that starts up from the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s a dark green sign with gold writing, kind of looks Irish. It faces the lake. The bakery has a lot of menu options. From sandwiches to pastries, to cold side dishes like veggies and pasta, and of course hot/cold espresso or tea beverages as well. Their amazing GIANT oatmeal cookie was so big… it was as big or bigger than my hand.(though I do have small hands). It was giant and wasn’t overpriced. The giant cookie was $ 3.75 so I was happy to pay for it. There is a two-layer case that has cold side dishes like: asparagus, caprese salad, quiche, basil pesto pasta /fettuccine, artichokes, eggplant, and fruit. I ordered a «small» portion, it was in one of those to-go brown boxes, for $ 6.75. I thought the guy would weigh it, but instead it was just a one price deal. I saw a lot of people ordering an espresso drink or teas with a pastry or sandwich. Their croissant looked big and scrumptious. Unfortunately, most of their pastry items were sold out by the time we got there on an afternoon 4pm-ish, the only thing left was the cookie, a few croissants, a bread pudding, 1 slice of apple strudel, a plate stacked high of their thick biscotti, and a tray of baklava. I was a bit weary to get the biscotti because it was the only item not in the bakery case. It was outside on the counter and I thought people’s spit or bugs or other dirt/germs were on it, that I didn’t feel comfortable buying or eating it. I ordered a small box of the basil fettuccine which was fantastic with the shredded carrots on top, and their GIANT oatmeal cookie, which was a bit too sweet for me. I hope to come back here and try their other bakery/pastry items.

Get the frittaaaatta. Aha. We had the luck to get one of four outdoor tables with a view of the SF Bay. They will prepare any sort of omelet you wish. Great coffee and cath those huge biscotti, the real almond ones. A non tourist trap place in a tourist trap.

Get their Biscotti! It was the best thing we had. We ordered a frittata and a Turkey Cranberry Brie sandwich. Nothing out of the ordinary.

My husband and I shared a ham and cheese croissant. It as delicious– since we ordered it without egg they put a bit more ham for us which was great!(Food allergy to egg). The staff was nice– seems like a place the locals like as well. Tip: they don’t take care unless it’s over $ 10

I love this place! The pastries are delicious and huge! The chocolate chip cookie is massive, baked fresh out the oven and packed with chocolate chips. The blueberry strudel is bursting with blueberries and cheese in a light flaky dough topped with powdered sugar! Perfectly pairs with a cup of tea. Their sandwiches are fresh as well and tasty. The turkey cranberry one is great, as well as the chicken pesto. The French bread for the sandwiches is fresh and soft. There’s also an assortment of ready-made food like pastas, veggies, etc. The service is quick, friendly and inviting. The prices average about 10 dollars a plate very inexpensive for yummy food. Stop in if strolling Sausalito!

I stopped here for a warm afternoon beverage with the family. The drinks were inconsistent. My soy decaf latte was lukewarm. The coffee was similar. But the chai latte was so hot it was undrinkable for quite a while. Other than that, a cute place to take a load off. No restrooms though.

Stopped in for brunch and was happy with the friendly service and being accommodated with a special order not on the menu. The toasted bagels were fresh and crisped to perfection and the egg croissant sandwich was huge and delicious. The hot chocolate impressively kept its heat for over 15 minutes which honestly seemed like some kind of witchcraft. ;-)

I was there today with my husband. After walking thorugh the main boulevard, we entered the bakery and were amazed by the look of the food. HOWEVER I was very disappointed. We ordered a quiche and a lasagna… The food had no flavor at all!!! I was amused because I though this will be a 5 stars bakery, but not. The service was good, friendly workers and perhaps the food is for others palate, not for me. The place looks good and clean, has the option to sit outside. I did not like the fact that the bathroom is actually on the kitchen. The 2 stars is mostly because I did not like the food and because I am surprised the bakery has 4 stars on Unilocal — not at all a 4 stars.

Let me start off with… The blueberry bread pudding is one of the BESTTHINGSIVEEVERHAD. Definitely get it with the whip cream too — so, so good. I ended up in this café because there wasn’t a wait to eat and my bf and I were starving. But luckily for us, this place was great! We split the pesto chicken sandwich and the Greek salad — and were pleasantly satisfied with both. Felt light and filling. They have wine and beer here too. Do not leave this place without trying the bread pudding — YOUWONTREGRETIT!

This place has great portions and good quality food, however, their system is just too disorganized. There was no real sense of a line and they seemed to be out of a lot of menu items(i.e. soups, select sandwiches, etc.) I had their pesto pasta with a couple of sides and thoroughly enjoyed it while my friends had an array of sandwiches. While the food was decent, the cramped sitting area and chaos was not for me. I would not go out of my way to come back here again.

Such a quaint little place. The first time I came here was with my boyfriend at the time and we had rented bikes out near Fisherman’s Wharf and biked all the way here. Now I’m back with that same guy as my husband and we wanted to make another visit. We actually went and sat at the same place and had the same snack. We ordered the regular ice coffee, but it seemed watered down and such. And I was looking for that cake that I had the first time, but they were sold out I guess. But then I asked about it and the cashier said they had some in the back. I was so ecstatic! It’s the blueberry bread pudding which was as good as it was the first time I had it. I’m sure there will be a 3rd visit here.

OmG what a cute little place in sleepy town! In the wee small hours of the morning, while the whole wide world is fast asleep, this bakery is open, it sits across the water, and parking meters aren’t til 9am. Sing with me! It’s so cute and cozy it almost made me want gelato for breakfast. The garbage men were running in and out working and the man at the front offered them any pastries and drinks they wanted, how sweet is that? Their teas are by Tazo, I chose mint, their cups are large, very nice. They offered Yoplait in strawberry, blueberry or original, and one serving of fresh fruit is quite filling. I think the music was nice but the freezer is really really loud :) Just bring a friend to chat instead. Great spot 5 stars
