Cranky manager answered the phone and treated us like she really did NOT care. She was frustrated that I asked what animals they carry in the store vs online. We walked in happy and ready to build a bear, yet she stood behind the counter and didn’t even come help us. Not a soul in the store at the time, 11 am on a week day. We asked a couple of questions and she barked at us with no effort to help or answer. We were a BIG inconvenience to her. Of all stores to show a good attitude, especially to children, this was not the place. Will not return to drop another $ 50-$ 100. Sad world.

Its the Christmas season but the store wasn’t too crazy busy. We built a teddy bear at another location for my first daughter’s Christmas and came back this year for my second daughter. The ladies stuffing the toys were nice and pleasant. The lady at check out, not so much. I mean she wasn’t rude but she obviously wasn’t loving her job. However, the quality is good. The first teddy bear we made there is going on 8 years old. He has been literally every where and through the wash several times over the years. Other than looking very loved, he is still in great condition.

I brought my 10 month old son here because we wanted to make a special Valentine’s Day gift for his mom. Being a bit of the«Bull-in-the-China-shop» type, I politely explained to the staff that it was my first time at Build-a-bear and asked if someone would walk me through the process. A young lady stepped up, asked me to choose an animal and proceeded to fill it with stuffing. That was it. No explanation of the optional accessories, instructions for completing the«Birth certificate» or even a hint of at salesmanship at all. To top it off, no one made any attempt at interaction with my son, ruining my hopes for what I thought would be a fun experience for the two of us on a day out together. A bit odd, for a store that makes its money selling stuffed animals…

Great Customer service however I wasn’t sure about my boys and the bear only because it felt to much like a Barbie doll with all the cloths selection and different accessories. But the whole process was nice

I have an older sister who has a mental disability. She is one of those people that never stops smiling and never sees the bad in anything. She’s my biggest fan but in some ways, I’m HER biggest fan. I am the first one to cry or get depressed when something doesn’t go my way, but not Angelina. She never asks for anything and is grateful for everything. Every time I go on a trip or vacation, I try to get her a souvenir. Depending on my budget, it’s either matching friendship bracelets, a t-shirt or this time, an Atlanta Hawks build-a-bear. Sure, it’s more than I’d ever spend on a bear with an outfit, but I knew that she’d love it. My brother and I decided we would split the cost and he’d buy the bear(or in this case, a dog) and I’d buy the outfit. I’d never done this before but the staff was great and explained everything to me. The guy doing the stuffing was extra nice and told me to kiss the heart and asked us who the bear was for. We told him a little bit about my sister and he thought we were saints. Nahhh. Then came the daunting task of the outfits. So hard to choose since they had adorable ones and I knew my sister would like anything. We settled on the Atlanta Hawks basketball outfit since my sis is a huge NBA fan. We even got to make it a birth certificate and we named it Kobe(since that’s her favorite bball player.) The best part of the whole experience was that it comes in a little cardboard house. That’s my sister’s favorite part of the WHOLE present. If I’d have known that, i’d have asked for a box and bought a cheap little bear at Walmart. My mom said whenever Angelina wakes up, she puts Kobe in the little house and tells him to go to sleep. So precious and definitely worth every penny I spent.
