Short version: bait & switch, rude employees/management, overpriced items I called the store to see if they had the advertised Earth’s Best diapers on sale and in stock. I was told«yes.» I drove to the store only to find that they did NOT even carry the item in the particular pack size(70/pack). Long story short, two smaller packs(35) equal one of the«sale» packs(70) so I asked if I could get the sale price for the two small packs, especially since I was given misinformation over the phone. The assistant manager was totally rude to me. Told me no. When I asked her WHY her employee had said that yes, they had them and yes, they were honoring the sale, she had no answer and disappeared. They would not do anything to compensate me and would not honor the advertised sale. Had she been polite and the least bit«sorry» I would have been okay with it. We all make mistakes. She was super rude and condescending. When I called customer service, they took my complaint and promised that someone from corporate would call me back within 7 days. No one ever did. I just called THEM back and(after 15 minutes of being transferred and being put on hold) was basically laughed at by a super rude employee who said, «we won’t honor that sale price and there is nothing we can do. It is not our fault» I will NEVER, under ANYCIRCUMSTANCES, shop there again. Not in-store, not online, no way. I am appalled by their lack of customer service and by their attitude. Just because they are the«only baby store in town» doesn’t give them the right to treat people badly. My issue isn’t even that I didn’t get the sale price– my issue is that they are rude, obtuse and don’t seem to care at all if their customers are unhappy. Ladies, go to , target, etc. to get your baby stuff. Babies R Us is a joke.

I have a huge problem. I am a 28 year old kid. I buy tons of toys and without a big toy store nearby I would probably freak out. This TRU is pretty good. This is a clean, well merchandised store. They went through a remodeling a couple years ago and incorporated a babies r us into the location. I don’t care about that. I actually hate kids. Luckily I can go in the morning and the only people shopping are uninformed grandmothers and old toy hoarders like myself. They have the best selection of Lego in the savannah area and seem to rotate through stock quickly. Also, it appears that there was a recent change in management. Until recently, customer service was poor. In my past few visits I have received pleasant greetings from both associates and management. An especially helpful associate told me about an unannounced sale because he saw a product that I was about to buy. 4 stars for an awesome TRU location.
