For those that live in Georgetown, you cannot beat the convenience but as far as overall shopping experience, I prefer the prices/​quality at Publix or Kroger. Food Lion has stepped up their game recently, with an organic/​natural food section, but it is still much smaller in comparison to other grocery stores. Also, their seafood, meat and produce departments are minimal, requiring me to go to other stores as an alternative in order to complete my shopping for the week. The cashiers and stockers are always very friendly, and despite the size– we’ve always had a good experience at this store.

Perfect store to pick up a few things. I like that they sell the natural chicken that I can’t get at Walmart. They have a nice Hispanic section which my husband and I like as well. I can’t ever get my full grocery shopping done here but the friendly staff will never fail you so I enjoy coming to this store!

Ok they are being more attentive to the expiration dates again so they get a star back. They have gluten-​free and organic sections. Although small it has a decent variety of items.
