I have been going here for a few years, and the food is great. The service is friendly, if not fluent in English. They do a great pork fried rice and my wife loves the crab raggon. I like that the place is very clean, and the open layout lets you see them cook the food.

Decent for fast food Chinese. Lived in the neighborhood so it was easy to order through phone then grab and go. Coconut shrimp and meifun are really good but a bit pricy. MooGuGaiPan and beef lo mein is usually my go-to and boyfriend(American) really enjoyed their sesame chicken.

Great for Chinese takeout. Which they delivered! Everything is great but the Mongolian Beef is our favorite!

I have searched all over Savannah for Chinese food that would satisfy my wife and I. It was disappointment after disappointment. We by chance found Happy Wok. I first tried the Mongolian beef and was hooked. I consider happy wok the only good Chinese food in the Savannah area.

Good food, HORRIBLE service! Asian girl working the front had a terrible attitude. The entire staff took lunch at the same time and was upset because incoming customers actually wanted to place orders. Nothing worse than feeling unwelcomed & like a bother at a good establishment.

Been here a few times. Never disappoints. I’m trying the wings next time. Seems like everyone who got takeout ordered em. Must be good!

Very good and they will make it like you specify(I asked for less oil). Nice owners and very clean. Impressed and that says a lot as I live in Boston area and have eaten my share of good Asian food

This was pretty good for that fast Chinese food flavor. Everything seemed fresh, and they had all the classic items you would look for, on the menu. I ordered fried rice, dumplings, crab rangoon, egg roll, shrimp with broccoli, and General’s Chicken. All the items were good, but the fried items were not super crunchy… that might have been from waiting. And for such a big order the gave me a free 3 liter of soda! I would order from them again.

A good place to eat! The mixed vegetables were very good. The hot and sour soup without meat was way too hot! The place was clean and seems to be doing a good take out business. I will stop here again.

Good for Chinese food in Port Wentworth — the basics, nothing too impressive but better than most I have had in Savannah. We’ll be ordering from them again.

This is truly a NY style Chinese takeout restaurant. From the photo menu board to the delicious sesame chicken, this was hands down our best roadside experience to date. Driving south on I-95 the options are LIMITED for a few hours passing through SC. This place, less than one mile/3 minutes off the highway, was a haven, and will be our go-to for lunch or dinner on road trips. Perfect for take-out, but they also have clean tables and chairs, making this an easy spot to stop, eat, and regroup. Very clean well appointed bathroom. Friendly server was smiling, helpful with my food allergy questions, and accommodating of my no breading/deep fry request. Chicken was perfectly stir fried, second only to my favorite Manhattan spot. At 9:40pm on a Saturday, this place was abuzz with locals. Set in a strip mall(the entrance was a little confusing, but don’t fret, you’re in the right place!) with other options(Pizza, Mexican, a grocery store, and gas stations) this is the perfect destination for travelers passing through. Did I mention that in addition to being delicious, high-quality Chinese takeout, the bathroom was immaculate? Five stars, Happy Wok. You have redeemed roadside dining for us all.

I’m a New Yorker… a straight shooter, through and through. This takeout place is reminiscent of my family’s go-to comfort. If mom was tired, you can expect that we were eating chicken w. broccoli for dinner. If my dad had a hard day at work, we were probably throwing General Tsao’s Chicken in the order. When I had my way, I was noshing on vegetable lo mein — just like NYC Takeout, this is probably the closest I’ve had to those memories. SO Damn good. Don’t expect it to be a restaurant — that’s not what NYC Takeout is about. Go to Happy Wok and get schooled. I can’t really say anything more than that..

Not much to speak of… it’s a little hole that’s good for takeout– though they do have a few tables in the restaurant itself. I don’t know that I’d return if I lived locally(probably find another joint to be my go-to), bit it did the job. I found it a bit expensive for takeout($ 9/entrée), but if you consider the amount of food you’re getting, it’s not all that bad. We ordered Schezwan chicken(not breaded/fried) and veggie lo mein. Each were made in less than 10 minutes and to order. They accommodated our request to have non-breaded/fried chicken which was a huge bonus. Served with rice, fortune cookies, and to-go plasticware so we could take back to our hotel and chill. Not bad on flavor, but not amazing either.
