Stopped in for a drink this past weekend. Very friendly bar tenders. LOVE all the choices for martinis — got the Rice Krispie martini, Butterfinger martini and the chocolate bacon martini. Didn’t like the chocolate bacon martini — too smoky for me. LOVED everything else. Such a fun place.

I’ve been to Jen’s and Friends several times and have always enjoyed it! I just wish the bar could be bigger because it gets extremely packed quickly. I had the Rice Krispie martini which was amazing. Every time I come I skip over it because I was afraid it would be too sweet. But it was actually perfect.

My disappointment with Jen’s and Friends was that I expected a uniquely original, handcrafted cocktail. Instead what I received was an overly sugary, flavored liquor drink. It’s all about your standards and expectations. Unfortunately, I was thinking: craft cocktails, which this is certainly not. They offer an insanely huge selection of martini’s, but it’s with the liquor in the ABC stores that I quickly walk past. Yes, they can make you any candy or fruity/sugary drink, but when it comes to a high quality, expertly crafted cocktail, you’ll have to go somewhere else. We ordered two martini’s: a blood orange martini, served with a sugar rim and orange gummy candy and a hazelnut chocolate martini, served with a Nutella rim. Both of the drinks were middle of the road, with the hazelnut chocolate winning out. Although we were able to find two spots easily at the bar, it’s a small space, but luckily in Savannah you can grab your drink to go. I could see myself returning to Jen’s and Friends because after I ordered the blood orange martini, I noticed that they had a lavender martini! I will return, with lower expectations, to try that! Overall, cool concept but this is not craft cocktail bar; come here with friends to get your sugary drank on.

Stopped by here on a Saturday for the martinis before dinner and glad we did! Tried a strawberry shortcake and a blackberry lemondrop — they were both great!

My fiancée and I were in savannah to get engaged and wanted to celebrate with our 1st martini(neither of us have ever had one). Jens & friends was highly recommened as the best martini bar in town. Upon entering we told the bartender ‘we’ve never had or ordered a martini before but would like to have 2 for this very special day, can you walk us through or recommend how to order a martini?’ She said that although it says martini bar its really just regular mixed drinks and in a tone of disdain said ‘if you want a regular martini ill make it’. In our opinion it was very rude… not only do we both know how to order a martini but what goes in one. A little help from the bartender would be nice. We then went to get alcoholic slushies… at leat they were nice.

Went here for a birthday cake martini(for my birthday!) and I’m SO glad I did. I typically stick to craft beer, but every now and again I love a good dessert drink. The menu: They have an OBSCENE number of dessert martinis to chose from. An 8.5×11 sheet filled front and back! We got the PB&J, Birthday Cake, Reese’s Cup, and Twix. They were all SOGOOD. I’m sure they were made with heavy cream(or something of the sort) but for a special occasion it’s 100% worth it. Each drink is adorned in an over-the-top, fantastic way. For example, the Birthday Cake glass rim is dipped in vanilla icing and then dipped in sprinkles, and is garnished with a Little Debbie snack with a lit candle. Prices: I saw a few reviews mentioning this bar is pricey. I don’t think so ATALL. These over-the-top cocktails were $ 9! I’m used to paying $ 10 – 13 for a simple cocktail, so I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. The Atmosphere: It’s small, and actually feels a little more on the grungy side than you would expect a dessert/girl oriented bar to be. Dropped ceilings, a video game machine sitting on the bar, a TV, etc. But that didn’t bother me too much. I loved this bar and will definitely come back on my next trip to Savannah!

Went to this bar to get a drink before a ghost tour and I was amazed at the drink selection here. They literally can make any martini you want. The employees were also super nice and all had some sort of relation to New Jersey which was great to chat about. Love the laid back vibe and would definitely suggest going if you can. Between the 3 of us we got the horchata, twix, and snickers. Everything was great, but I personally had the twix and loved it.

Pricey but worth it for the novelty. We stopped in on our first night in Savannah. Happy we did. I would recommend going here after dinner as most drinks are sweet and dessert like in nature. Jenn made me the birthday cake martini which of course included the cake and candle for garnish. It was my birthday get away so I knew what I wanted. My second drink was even better than the first… a blueberry cobbler martini. I was happy I took this one to go, why you ask… I couldn’t stop licking the cup. Do it you only live once.

Cute, cozy, & friendly! Walked in & was immediately greeted. We really felt a real sense of feeling welcomed. I like that! We looked at the ridiculously extensive martini list. It took us FOREVER to decide on a drink. Listen, if you’re looking for the ultimate martini spot this is it! We were on a bit of a time crunch so I only had time for one drink. I picked the milano cookie martini. It was soooo good! …it was pretty darn close to the real cookie! It wasn’t too milky, or creamy, or crazy sweet. The ingredients were blended perfectly. It definitely was a dessert martini! Can’t wait to go back here to explore more on the menu. This is definitely the ultimate martini drink stop!

While there is no doubt that Jen seems to be a sweet person and a great bartender who can make a very tasty drink and smile while doing it, it doesn’t take away from the fact that said drinks are quite pricy and not quite worth it in my opinion. There seemed to be a little buzz around the outside with people sitting outside enjoying their drinks so we decided to stop in for ourselves. My first impression was that the inside was very small and divey’ish. Most of the seats both at the bar and also the tables were taken but we still managed to get a seat. They seemed to be most popular because of their different desert martini creations so I chose the Reese’s peanut butter cup and my wife got some type of fruity flavor. Jen had them made up in no time at all. As I said before they were very tasty and I could have used another couple but just not at $ 9 each. We sat in the bar for about 30 minutes or so and watched many people come and go. The bar doesn’t have a very fun vibe at all and most people come to get their novelty drink and then leave. It’s not the best place to just hang out for the night unless you just like to people watch.

A place to try out once if your in town! (DRINKS) — Wide variety of different martinis, maybe over 200 different drinks. So far I had kit kat, birthday cake, and peach-o, which were okay. Some drinks can be a bit too sugary or over use of alcohol. (SETTING) — The space is always crowded and is the size of a large master bedroom wall-in closet with sticky menus and floors. Good luck getting seats at this place or bring your drinks to your table without spilling it or people pushing into you. (SERVICE) — The service isn’t that great. Every time I come, I always get an attitude from the mixologist who seem to be annoyed whenever I order something at the bar since I never get any help when I’m seated. My group was almost kicked out after paying for our drinks because he read the dob wrong on my friends ID and afterwards couldn’t give me any cocktail napkins so I had to ask a stranger who sat in front of it to give me some. Located next to Levy Jewelry.

I like a tasty martini so I knew that this was one of the places that I wanted to visit while in Savannah. We came here on a Tuesday night, at around 9:30pm and there was a few people there. This bar is pretty small, but it has a cozy feel to it. They have A LOT of martinis to choose from! We had the hardest time deciding what to order, but in the end our party tried the gummy shark, pomegranate, strawberry, bourbon pecan, and rice crispy treat martinis. All of them were delicious! I must take one star off though because of the atmosphere, when we walked in there it was so quiet. No music was playing and people who were there were pretty much whispering to each other. You almost felt like you had to whisper as well, because it was so quiet in there, so I just wish it was more upbeat.

Got to meet Jen herself on my second trip to the bar. She’s really nice and has a great little establishment. Jenny and I had that Reeses and Rice Krispy martinis on our first pass, peach and pecan on the second. All were sweet and made for a great little stop. Definitely worth a visit — I just don’t see many unique little places like this.

I really really really liked this place. It makes me think of a Cheers type of environment where everyone knows your name. Its a small place that makes over 300 martinis. I tried one of their spicy cucumber cocktails and I highly recommend it if you enjoy spicy drinks. I got the rice krispie which was milky and tasted exactly like the treat, but I wished I would have tried something else. My friends got the Twix which was very good– nice and chocolatey. Kind of like a yoo hoo… I wish I lived nearby so I could try one a day!!!

Definitely a go to place! We went twice! There are about 300 martinis on their menu and Jen will give you her favorites. You can’t go wrong with any of them. The first time I had the twix martini! Tasted just like a twix with a side of the actual candy as well. The second time we went I tried the blackberry Lemondrop. I decided to switch it up from chocolate to fruity and this was so good too. Comes with a sugar candy and sugar rim. The prices range from like $ 7 to $ 9 for a martini but well worth it. They had cheaper appletini and cosmos as well, but a group of ladies next to us said they were just eh. Go for the specialty martinis! You won’t be disappointed! One night we were there Jen and her husband were being interviewed for a Georgia Travel show on places to visit while in Georgia! I’d agree to this!

Never before have I experienced a bar as unique and as dedicated to its specific craft as Jen’s. What is more, is that Jen herself is working behind the tiny bar, and it’s awesome to experience her brand of mixology passion when it comes to making unique, over-the-top, and unforgettable martini-style beverages. I also couldn’t get over the unique mix of patrons — it looked like the«locals» or regulars were seated along the small bar(10 seats, max), and the«guests»(in my case, and medium-size bachelorette party of 8) and others were seated along a banquette with small tables on the opposite wall. It’s a very intimate seating and bar experience, so don’t some here expecting a raucous time with thumping music and room to move. There are also just a couple of tables outside, as well. OMG — DESSERTMARTINIS! A GIRLSNIGHTOUTDREAM! Okay, okay — relax, traditional martini drinkers and«non girly drink» drinkers. I’m sure they can just make you a plain Jack and Coke or whatever. Get you drink«for here» in a traditional martini glass or «to go» in a big plastic cup(love that open container law). It’s best to come here, in my opinion, either after dinner and before clubbing, or as your final stop of the night(since they close at midnight on the weekends). Try not to crowd around the bar, but just find a seat and absorb the MASSIVE menu. Thankfully, if you’re a price shopper, the martinis are organized by $ 8, $ 9, and $ 10. Not too bad at all, especially for such a niche product. Once you’re ready to order, they make it very clear that there is not table service, so you need to confidently but politely edge your way to the bar and let Ms. Jen or one of her barkeeps know your order. Once you’ve ordered, watch as Jen carefully and methodically goes over to a wall full of various toppers, flavors, etc. to craft your drink. In my case, I chose a Twix martini, so she rimmed my glass in caramel and Twix bits, and then lined the inside of my glass with some chocolate sauce and more Twix bits. Then, she carefully concocted the liquid libation, which I’m sure was some-part vodka, some-part chocolate liqueur, some-part some other liqueur, and then served with a mini Twix on the side. So fun! And still so tasty! Just loosen up and have fun here! Relax and kick back! It’s like a «regulars» sort of bar without being divey or grungy!

Definitely hard to miss if you’re just walking by, and on a Thursday night it wasn’t busy at all, so we assumed it wasn’t a bar. But we walked in after seeing the sign at the top of the door, and was greeted as soon as we got in. Jen is really nice! 5 stars for the service and experience of this place, and 3 stars for the flavor of the drink we ordered. You can sit at the bar or in the area with a few mini round tables. A very small space, but it definitely works for this type of dive bar. Was overwhelmed by all of the drinks on the menu! Fun drinks to try at least once when you’re here in Savannah! We of course had to order the famous Birthday Cake! The presentation was outstanding! The taste was pretty strong. And it only tasted like birthday cake if you took a sip and had the frosting/sprinkles at the same time. Otherwise the drink tasted like alcohol and milk mixed together. Maybe we should have ordered something else? Another couple came in and sat next to us at the bar and they only took 3 sips and left the bar. They ordered Fruit Loops and another drink that looked like something with chocolate/caramel. Wanted to love this place, but it was just ‘okay’ to me. I’m glad I had a chance to try it out once, because the entire place and menu were all very unique! Good experience for a first timer in Savannah.

Our best bar experience while in Savannah! We tried to drink as many different martinis as we could and each one was amazing! The bartenders were always attentive, have amazing customer service and know their stuff! We will def return on our next trip!
