Worst experience here ever!!! Very rude customer service! Were not family friendly at all. Toward my family anyway. And when we were discussing to each other our disappoint the man guessing the manager tried getting crazy with us. A shameful way to act towards customers. Truly disgusted!

If you are looking for true authentic Mexican food then this is your place. Usually when I dine here I have never seen more than one other table of Gringos in the place which should tell you something. First let me tell you that the soups are amazing especially they Menudo. If you are a fan of this authentic Mexican classic this is the best I have found in Savannah and usually served on the weekends. As for the other food they have some familiar things on the buffet like beans, rice, corn tortillas, and huevos rancheros. But some of the other stuff you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone but believe me they’re worth it. Some of these items are chicharones(stewed fried pork skins), stewed chicken gizzards, a stew with pigs feet, and tilapia heads. Pigs feet aren’t my favorite but other people who I know like them very much. As for the rest of the above they are all very good. If you are a little scared of those things dont rule this place out they always have not so scary things up there as well. And if all else fails they do have a menu. A friend of mine, who for medical reason cant eat very much at a time, ordered a quesadilla which came with rice. This thing was monstrous and he said it was one of the best that hes ever had. The greatest thing about this place is that you get all this wonderful food for a very low price. Once you’re done eating wonder over next door to they Latin market(all in the same building). You can buy fresh produce and meats(they have bulk chorizo!) as well as packaged items. No go give this place a try in a hurry!!!

We have gone here for lunch 3 times now. The food is real home style Mexican. It is hard to bet for the price. On the salsa bar the brown salsa is very good but very spicy.

Great buffet lunch with lots of choices. Grab a pack of corn tortillas and choose from among several fillings and salsas.

Finally, authentic Mexican in Savannah! As the sign on the front door says, «No Tex Mex!». We’ve been to La Comarca several times now and can’t tell you how refreshing it is to be served authentic Mexican fare in Savannah. On our first visit, we very much enjoyed the tacos y gorditas. The next time, I opted for the excellent buffet, which seems to be the choice of many regular patrons. Such fun! If you do order the buffet, don’t miss the fantastic ribs. So different, so good. The tacos are excellent. My husband very much enjoyed his La Cabeza taco, as well as the more usual bistec o pollo offerings. The folks who run La Comarca are very helpful, but not all speak English, so have fun trying out your college Spanish again. And don’t worry, there’s always someone on staff who speaks English. We’ll be back… again and again and again! PS: Cash only!
