Walked in at 1pm, and walked out at 135pm. Tried to order to Joey Bag of Doughnuts, and it took 35 mins just for them to make them. One girl wiping down tables at a store that had three tables eating, and 5 people in line. The crew that was working the line, was working around each other. Asked to speak to a manager, the slowest guy spoke up and said he was the manager. My wife asked him why it was taking so long he replied with I had two people quit on me. I then told him that it wasn’t that, but the fact they showed no teamwork. The girl finally decided to actually do some work and got on the line and added the toppings to the burritos. I noticed that the manager disappeared to the back after our conversation. The kid working the register was having trouble at the register at this point with the manager gone to the back. Keep in mind people are just coming in, with still no manager. I figured at this point, if the manager is just going to walk off, we would too. Since our food was cold from sitting around, I didn’t want to wait any longer to pay for what would be cold food. I have had issues with this place before, I was only going less often and would go to the other stores. Now I will never return to this store.

I have hesitated giving bad reviews for the last 5 – 6 times I’ve been here because the food is always great– BUTIT’S NOTWORTHTHEWAIT! Whether there are 4 people in line or 20(like right now) the service is exceptionally slow. There is absolutely no sense of urgency… the line is out the door right now and there are THREE employees on the line. Chipotle is a two minute drive and their line moves A LOT faster! Oh– and I haven’t heard ‘Welcome to Moe’s’ one time in the 30 minutes we’ve been standing in line. We are LITERALLY down to one person on the line and no cashier… just standing here… completely unacceptable. AND the one guy on the line is upset, just threw an empty black bean container into a stack and splashed everyone in line with black bean juice! This is unbelievable!

For fast tex-mex it is about on par with other places. The service was friendly, the food was warm, the atmosphere good. Nice location across from the mall. Even when it was busy the line was moving.

Three stars for the great fresh food, and nothing else. The service is simply terrible. We’ve been here 3 times now and each time the line is incredibly long and slow moving because the cashier at the end either didn’t know her job, didn’t care about taking care of people, or was simply clueless. Today our cashier spent 5 minutes talking to the line guy while we were clearly waiting to be rung up. It’s ridiculous. If the food weren’t great there would be no reason to go. As it is I’m not sure it’s even worth the hassle of rude and lazy staff.

It’s no Chipotle! I’ve gone here twice since moving to Savannah because I miss Chipotle so much. It’s the same idea just inferior ingredients. Dry fried rice instead of fluffy cilantro lime rice. Flavorless salsa and taco bell style meat. Thank goodness there’s a Chipotle opening here soon!

No Moe’s Mondays and no Freestyle machine. Try your luck downtown, first.

this used to be one of my favorite places to eat, i was here almost twice a week when i was pregnant! But something has changed, and the staff is a revolving door. the burritos are no longer full, they are so stingy with their portions! The staff isn’t as knowledgeable or nearly as friendly as they used to be. Big thumbs down Moes, get your old crew back!

i understand that savannah is not tucson and i can’t expect good mexican food. but at least in nashville i could find a chipotle. they haven’t even heard of them here! so moe’s it is. at least for the locals. no longer for this girl. the chips are their only redeeming quality, salty and fresh. but the salsa to dip them in is nasty. and don’t get me started on the burritos. i had a chicken burrito with rice. added corn salsa, tomato, sour cream and cilantro. with all those flavors, it should have been some tasty goodness. sadly, it was bland. and dry. and bad. i tried drenching it in their tomatillo salso, but that was also lacking… well, lacking is nice. it tasted like cucumbers. even the water had a chemical aftertaste. needless to say, no mo moe’s for me.

much better than a chipolte’s with many more items to add to your burrito. busy at lunch so try and get there a little early. whenever in savannah we usually visit a couple times. at home in california we don’t have one so chipolte it is here. or many of the taqueria’s around but we always wish we were near a moe’s.

This is what happens when you miss Chipotle! You eat Moes… now, it’s not bad. It can be good and luckily, it’s not fast-food like McD or something else. It’s ridiculously filling, though. Good Staff… maybe its the atmosphere that’s really drab… or all the manly men with their stuffed meaty burritos 0____0. IDK. haha

I like to come to Moe’s just about every time I come to Savannah. The employees are always friendly. The store is clean. The restrooms are mostly spotless.

It is what it is. Its an assembly line burrito place… you see what you are getting. They have a great staff, a clean restaurant, and its cheap. I think its a winner for lunch on the southside.

Just another one of those assembly line burrito places. If it had not been for the overly nice staff, the experience would have been mundane at best. If you are hungry and want something just a step above fast food, Moe’s will suffice. It’s OK, but it’s a one timer for me. Moe’s was real, just not real nice.
