My wife, daughter and I stopped in Savannah for the evening on our way to FL to visit family for the week of Thanksgiving. We had been traveling for 14 hours. We wanted some dinner before we went to bed at our hotel that was right near this Ruby Tuesdays. The food was good but the service was the worst I have experienced in a long time. After our server was done taking our order she asked us if we wanted biscuits. We said yes, and they never came. I was without a drink for 5 – 10 minutes before our meal came. Our server walked past several times and never asked if I wanted something else. When she brought our meal I asked to have another drink. My meal was missing a side. A group of 15+ came in right around this time. I was not brought my second drink until I was done with my meal. She also brought our check at this time. The server gave a very short apology as she rushed off to her group of 15+ to take their order. Our 3 year-old daughter was more then ready to go at this point so I took our check up to the hostess stand and asked if someone could run my card so we could leave. The hostess I spoke to was extremely rude and gave me multiple dirty looks. The 2 other hostesses offered to get me drinks to go, I declined. They apologized and said they would inform the manager. As we were leaving the manager approached me and apologized several times, and asked me what happened. After I informed her she said that she would void out the order. I wasn’t looking for any hand outs by any means, but the manager and the food is what gave this experience 2 stars. I regret not going to Applebee’s right across the street.

It’s been a long time since I have been to any chain restaurants like this, and this was a lovely reminder as to why I don’t go to such chains any more; the service was ok, took a while to get seated despite a good handful of employees looking like they weren’t doing anything. Our waiter was very nice and kept our drinks topped off — food was a bit slow getting out and my husbands order was wrong. He had wanted one of their chicken items and a side of mashed potatoes, the waited thought he asked for a burger. He was rather disappointed but was too hungry to wait for them to make the right thing, especially considering how long we had already been waiting. I got their parmesan chicken pasta which was rather terrible; the chicken was grey on the inside and was over cooked. Total waste of money.

Worst food I have tried to eat in years. Go anywhere else. They never brought our appetizer. The fish was raw. They replaced my grits with mashed potatoes and acted like it was my fault. Never refilled the 2.49 lemonade. The manager was indifferent and wouldn’t adjust the bill without us insisting repeatedly that we NEVER received the fried green beans.

Stopped by for dinner on my way up to South Carolina. Service was fast and food was hot and good. Price is reasonable. Meal comes with mini muffins. I had the salad bar included with my entrée for an extra $ 2.50. The salad was fresh. Overall a good experience for a pitstop.

I like the seating at this location. Its clean and better lit than the mall location but the food taste and portions are far far better at the mall location. My first time here the food was ok. But this time the food was not so great. I love Ruby’s tenders usually… here they literally took 1 chicken tender and cut it into 3 tiny strips, barely battered them and put them on my plate. The ribs were not as good as usual either. The mash potatoes were on point though. Hopefully this was just an off day. We’ll try again in a few months and see if they improve.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and went there for a late dinner. The food and service were very good. Did not do the salad bar(not a fan). Drinks were delicious and those complimentary cheese biscuits were great. Server even offered to bring us another order. If in the area again, would definitely go back.

I love RUBY… Mostly for their strawberry lemonade. Drove passed this placed headed to a friend’s house and thought it was closed… Don’t be fooled by the empty parking lot.

February 15, 2013 Friday — dinner 8:00PM 1 adult & a kid Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 4 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Hungry after a long day of travel and it was next to the hotel. Atmosphere — A standard Ruby Tuesday. I ding them for a wobbly table. Food Appetizer — free little cheesy biscuits that good. I also had the salad bar, and I got fooled by those croutons again, why to soft and spongy to be a croton. Main Course — I went with the BBQ Chicken. It was on their healthy choice menu. The chicken piece was smaller than expected but it had good flavor. I had the spaghetti squash as my side, added a little cracked pepper and it was perfect. Dessert — none ordered. Service — Very friendly waitress. I ordered dessert for my daughter as she had dinner already. I asked for them to come out together, well there was a five minute difference. Future — Probably but not during this trip.

Any chain restaurant like this can only be so good. This one had no noticeable kinks, flaws, imperfections, the salad bar was well kept, service was satisfactory, and the food was solid. If you’re considering eating here, you’re probably staying in a nearby hotel and therefor I would recommend this place based on the appearances and Unilocal reviews of all the surrounding places.

After a long day of driving, we found a hotel and this Ruby Tuesday waiting for us. It was not a busy night so the place was not full. The staff was very friendly and I could tell they were used to seeing bleary eyed drivers just wanting food so they could go to bed. Our server was very nice and ‘perky’… I forgot her name… sorry. She took our order and a few min later brought us some cheese biscuits. Small samples and said they were free so enjoy. They were good and reminded me of the ones at Red Lobster! Our meals came out quickly… I got a basic burger with onion rings. It was cooked to my liking and tasted fine. We were in and out of the place in about 30 min. All in all it was your basic Ruby Tuesdays. Atmoshphere = 7 Service = 9 Food = 8 I don’t remember much else of this place since we were tired but if you need some food after a long day on the road, this does fine.

Stopped there for a salad and a break from driving. I was greeted by Bobbie and a big smile. The service was exceptional and salad bar perfect. She even packed a couple minature muffins for my ride to Charleston. Ruby Tuesday is reliable and reasonably priced. One of my favorite restaurant chains. Thanks Bobbie!

I do like ruby tues but this location sucks. There are two things they can do well and that is the Buffalo Shrimp and Raspberry ice tea. The rest of the food sucks. Just do yourself a favor and go to Houlihans down the road.
