My group recently had one of our organizational meetings at the café, and we used the restaurant’s catering services. It was fantastic! We ordered the sausage rolls, the cheese and fruit platter, and the hummus platter. Not only was the food plentiful, it was incredibly good and well-presented. Highly recommended!

This place was awful. It took 50 minutes to get our food, the women at the front counter was rude and the owner hid in the back while dozens of customers encountered bad service and repeatedly asked how long their food would be. The rude and insensitive staff was over heard saying«well if they don’t like it then they don’t have to come back», avoid this place if you don’t have all day to wait and want to have s positive experience. Additionally the should really have a talk with their uncaring staff. Post comment by staff. Again failure to acknowledge their lack of customer service and an excuse laden diatribe. A customer asking for an update on his food after 50 minutes isn’t the customer problem it’s the restaurant, so I wouldn’t think that would be unreasonable. See the other reviews on the poor service, avoid this place or receive a snide remark on your honest feedback. Again lack of regard for the customer. Matter of fact, keep an eye out for future reviews, if this place even stays in business.

First time out of towners from Nashville; we were impressed overall and would make this a regular place if we were local. The coffee is great, food was above average. Service was mediocre, loved the atmosphere. There’s a lot of options and it covers a broader spectrum of offerings compared to most coffee shops.

My husband and I walked over to SCR from our hotel for a quick breakfast. We came in around 10:30 ish, ordered a few pastries and coffees. They were sold out of a few items that they bake fresh daily, so that’s a sign of how popular they are! I had the pavlova cake and it was DELICIOUS! I also had the yogurt with granola and fruit– not bad. Our coffee drinks were great too. I loved the environment and atmosphere. We would definitely go back!

First no one cares if you own the building… Making that kind of statement means you have very little business since and even less business control. So I took the time to help you understand American business. I hope this helps you dearly;0) AMERICANBUSINESS101: You don’t tell a customer they have to buy something before they go to the bathroom when the outside temperature is in the 40’s.(Chill and Stay calm. Everyone’s not trying to steal from your business. Situation awareness says this is peak time to maximize marginal revenue. Business will maximize but unless you have more employees working to make hot drinks there is no way to increase your marginal revenue.) AMERICANBUSINESSETHICS101: You never tell a customer to «FUCKOFF». If you are the owner then act like it instead of being the Savannah Coffee Nazi.(This will drive away business, lowering potential revenue and increasing marginal opportunity cost). Maybe if you went to school in a successful Capitalist Country you would know these 2 simple rules. If this is to hard to comprehend, then don’t be upset that this is my perception. Your business ethic is what fuels Starbucks to take over your revenue and run you out of business. Also your lack of revenue is the reason your business will never expand and this is how Starbucks controls its competition. Your business is across from the Civic Center and you are unprepared for business. February 26, 2016. 6:17 pm. This is what is called opportunity loses. To bad you can not use it on your taxes with the IRS… I bet you would get a better tax return;0) Anthony K. The Husband

Love this place. Coffee is fabulous! Nice atmosphere inside and out. Awesome patio. Parking was the only concern I had.

My wife and I were on a 20yr anniversary trip to Savannah and went to this coffee shop daily because we fell in love with it! We both agreed that it was our favorite coffee shop anywhere… From NYC to San Fran, and we’re from Chicago where quality shops are bountiful. Great menu, great drinks — Con Leche is amazing… Pastry’s are amazing! Try the salted Carmel Cookie! Wow

Went here on Sunday for a quick brunch. Line was decently long, but moved quickly. You order at the counter and get a number, I believe a server is supposed to then bring your food to you but we went and grabbed our food from the counter after seeing a few other tables doing this claiming they were«regulars.» The egg sandwich I ordered with turkey sausage on an english muffin was pretty good. Definitely left feeling full and satisfied. They definitely had limited condiments, only one bottle of ketchup for the restaurant? — So after using it you had to return it to the condiment cart, a bit odd. Finally, as I was heading out, a band seemed to be setting up, I would definitely be interested in coming back to check out their live music and explore the rest of the menu while I’m at it.

Went in to get a lemon bar and to redeem a Unilocal check in offer and when I said that the girls behind the counter looked at me like I punched them in the face. They gave me a weird look and seemed annoyed when I asked to see prices of the bakery items. Tea was good, but nothing makes up for poor service. Don’t offer a check in deal if you’re going to look down at the people who use it. Saw the owner leaves very snide comments to everyone who leaves them anything less than a three star review. Me being a business woman myself I find this very sad, maybe the owner should reconsider her art degree and head to business school.

Coffee is good, but service is slow and staff is incompetent. Was just passing through on a drive from Florida to Atlanta. Stopped here for a coffee, lemon bar and a salted caramel cookie. Much to my chagrin, on my travels, cookie was wrong flavor; she even asked me to repeat my order twice. The lemon bar was awful. The coffee was good, but took forever to get. Won’t be returning on my next trip to Savannah.

Strong coffee, but smooth not bitter like Starbucks. Had the Blueberry muffin and it was awesome. Definitely would recommend.

Really good drip coffee. I drink it hot and black, and this is the best-tasting I’ve had from a coffee shop here in Savannah so far. Plus I think it’s really cool that they roast their own beans. The atmosphere is really comfortable and casual without having that trendy bohemian feel that some of the other coffee shops have.

I came here looking for a real good cup of coffee after running the Savannah half marathon, and wasn’t disappointed. The coffee is quite good, strong but not bitter. There are plenty of seats both inside and outside to sit and relax. I sat outside since it was a nice day. They have about five tables along the sidewalk outside. This is not a full service coffee shop but instead you order and pick up your drink at the counter. They have a large selection of different types of coffee drinks and quite a few pastries that looked real good. In particular, there were some monster size cookies that looked real good, but when I visited I didn’t parade of any sweet treats. This is a real good place to visit for coffee and pastries or a light breakfast.

A «new to me» coffee house that has a neat combination of 2 ambiances – coffee shop/industrial archetect. We had our regular large Americanos, but in their«sailing ship» logo cups, I felt extra special! Swag like mugs, t-shirts, tote bags, and signature blends are for sell. Their regulars set up camp at various comfortable locations and tables that feature burlap bags under glass tops. This was my first, but definitely not last trip to SCR. Will make a note to visit on my next trip.

The more we think about it, the worse the place was. It’s getting 2 stars based only on décor & the benefit of the doubt. The food sucked.

Beutiful place. We came here based on the Unilocal reviews. Poor customer service and the breakfast sandwiches were mediocre. The brought me the wrong order they took forever to bring my order again, my husband finished his breakfast and I still did not had mine. They are better places around.

Best cold brew in Savannah! Ordered a medium cold brew coffee with creamer and simple syrup. It was just right and hit the spot. Also ordered a Frappé with caramel flavor. A bit bitter and not too sweet, and after over indulging on sweet tea and and taffy on river Street, this was a much needed break. Very refreshing cold coffee choices with ample seating outdoors for those with pets. Although, I was a bit surprised to see that they didn’t have a water bowl outside for pets. Most places I’ve been to in and around Savannah have brought water bowls almost immediately or had one outside. A great spot for an afternoon refresher.

Fantastic«last stop» before you leave Savannah. Super cute décor and atmosphere. If you check in on Unilocal — you get a free coffee/ice tea(at least when we were there). I had the ham and cheese croissant which was salty and buttery good. The desserts were huge and delicious as well — we tried the peanut butter cookie, lemon tart, brownie and definitely worth sharing. I love their logo and reusable cups — definitely stop in if you want a quick snack before hitting the road!

This is a fairly standard good coffee shop/breakfast restaurant. Classic rock is playing constantly and is perhaps a little too loud. We had iced tea and iced coffee, which were unremarkable. The wife was disappointed with her breakfast sandwich. She got the wrong order, but ate it anyway because she can’t stand seeing food wasted. The bacon was flubby/limp and undercooked. Proper bacon preparation requires it to be a little crispy without being burned. Some more training on that point is necessary. I had the bagel and lox, which I liked. It was as expected, but nothing more. The best part of the meal was a peach Danish. It was perfectly cooked and delicious — see photo.

I have mixed feelings about this coffee shop on E Liberty. LOVE their cold brew coffee, and, better yet the absolutely enviable cold cups they serve it in(take a look in the pictures section). I’ve been tempted to wash one out and bring it home with me even though I know that is really not feasible. The food is tasty and the space is large although it can be confusing. I think the space is best used as a true table service restaurant and, though I have not been back in the evening to experience it, think it would be a great place to have a casual bite and glass of wine after work. That having been said, it is not table service in the mornings and if you order literally ANYTHING other than coffee or tea, you’re going to be waiting for it… and waiting… and waiting… This is not a testament to the staff who are always very friendly but I believe says something about the management. I wish they would put two more employees behind the counter in the morning since it’s usually grab and go that most people are looking for when it comes to their breakfast fare. Again, love the coffee, love the staff, love the outdoor seating space. Hate waiting 20 minutes for an cold brew and a fruit salad.
