Enjoyed a flavored coffee with a southwest chicken wrap. I love the artsy eclectic laid back atmosphere. It’s a great place for lunch or just a snack.

I could not finish my iced espresso. It tasted like mud. Yes, I’ve tasted mud. I consider myself a mud connoisseur. This was not a wet red Georgia clay. This was a loamy topsoil covered in beetles dying of a fungal infection. Seems like an OK place to study or have a conversation, but don’t go if you like the taste of coffee.

This was a cool quaint place. Coffee was great and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a couple bags of things that I was walking around and they helped me get situated for the walk back to my bnb. Great place!!!

Really cool coffee shop in the heart of Savannah. The atmosphere is very cozy with tables, couches and big comfy chairs. They serve a wide variety of coffee, wine and light food options.

Found this great little coffee/lunch/liquor spot in the square. Very eclectic, cozy and indoor and outdoor seating. As with all coffee shops these days, people turn them into tiny personal offices. Oh well! Had a great piece of GF cake

Perfect ambience but my peppermint latte was nothing close to Collins the wait staff and barista were very polite would definitely come back to try out the Turkish coffee which is heard is delicious. 5 stars for ambience. 3 for the latte.

Nice big comfy place. Lots of flavors to chose from for lattes. They have Turkish coffee which my friend loved. Lattes are good not great, I’d stop in for the cute place and convenient location but it wouldn’t be my go to spot… And $ 5 credit card minimums are annoying.

I love going to this coffee shop when ever I am in Savannah! I like start my mornings here with a great cup of coffee! I tried the homemade cinnamon buns, the barista told me they were amazing and she was right! The staff was very knowledgable and friendly! Put this place on your to do list when in Savannah!

This little corner spot boasts a strong presence in a small space. Very eclectic and artsy but full of goodies like sandwiches, coffee beverages, teas, desserts and such. I had an Iced Lavender which was sooooo delicious!!! The latte was just sweet enough and the lavender left a pleasing taste. This may be a new fave spot and one more I’ve crossed off of my list of downtown eateries to try

Disclaimer: I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for years so I know when a tip is deserved or not. Normally, I always tip… Okay now that part is out of the way, Gallery Espresso might be the most unfriendly, unwelcoming and overrated coffee shop I’ve ever been to.(I love coffee and its accompanying shops) For starters, the coffee was bland. how can a coffee shop have bland coffee!!! I don’t get it… IF I were to go back to GE I would only get a water because I don’t trust any other of their products. Secondly, the prices are fairly overpriced for the quality of their products. My boyfriend and I got two large coffee(which are only 16 oz.) and a scone and it was close to $ 8. I don’t mind paying $ 10 for great coffee and a scone but the coffee sucked so I was a little annoyed. Lastly, the service is disgraceful. Like I stated before, I normally tip. The only reason for me not to tip is if the service is terrible, which it was. The«barista» gave me attitude and had an uncomfortable aura surrounding her so I didn’t tip. When she realized I didn’t tip, SHEMADE A DISGRUNTLEDSOUND making me feel even more uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced something as unprofessional and inappropriate in a restaurant before now. It’s really unfortunate because I live a block away from GE but I’d rather walk 15 minutes to a great coffee shop than walk 30 seconds to GE. It’s safe to say I’ll never go back to Gallery Espresso again. You can find me at The Coffee Fox or Foxy Loxy: D

Blueberry muffin was on point. Loved grabbing a coffee and muffin and sitting in the square. Definitely would go back again.

By far my favorite coffee shop in Savannah. The coffee is great and there are some nice munchies and lunch kind of things. But most important is the atmosphere. It’s the closest to a real Austrian coffee shop. There are plenty of comfy chairs and tables by the window, student(SCAD) art on the walls, jazz and swing music in the background, and you can tell that the folks behind the counter truly enjoy working here.

This is a quaint little coffee shop next to a busy square. Their service however, is like a hot girl who knows she’s hot. My friend asked them if their caramel macchiato was sweet, and the server replied, «No this is not Starbucks.» Another server gave me a wrong order one time, and kept trying to reassure me, «If you don’t like it, I’ll remake it.» He said it 3 times, and I really tried to like it, but I’m lactose intolerant so I had to send this latte back(I ordered tea). Then he said, «Ugh, are you sure you don’t like it?» I’m sorry to bother you sir, I’ll never order wrong again! I could go for 3.5 stars but for the cute decoration, variety of tea selection, and great desserts, they get a 4. Great study spot. I’m sure other people have experienced nicer service there!

Hip, lounge and trendy coffee shop in the heart of the hub in Savanna’s historical district. The coffee is so good we always take a couple of pounds home. The bathroom is quirky but funky. The staff is very friendly. Always a long line but it goes fast and well worth it.

I ended up visiting Gallery Espresso not one but four times while I was visiting Savannah. The staff was always friendly and the tea was always good. Perfect place to chill out after a day of walking around the city.

Decent coffee here at Gallery, thank goodness! Hubby and I always take a chance on local coffee shops because we do like to support indie businesses, and the atmosphere there is usually so much more fun and relaxed that a chain. But where we are from, Starbucks is the norm, so every coffee we have elsewhere is measured against Starbucks. Sad, I know. Gallery’s mocha lattes are not super sweet, but they were pretty good. I didn’t have to add sugar, which is the true test. We also had some cinnamon rolls. These hit the spot and were perfect for a quick breakfast to go. If we lived in Savannah, I definitely would come back to Gallery another day to have more coffee and sample some of their other menu items.

I visited Gallery Espresso while in Savannah for a short visit. On this particular day, we had been out walking the city for a long time before we finally stopped in Gallery Espresso. It was a hot day, I was«hangry» and had not had any coffee and when I just couldn’t take it anymore we stopped into the first place we saw, which happened to be here. It’s very eclectic inside, with a random mish mash of chairs, old tables, couches, art work etc. Many SCAD students hanging out inside, taking advantage of the chill hang out spot and free wifi. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a «large» iced coffee. The coffee was made right away and the sandwich was brought out a few minutes later. Good thing I ordered a «large» because that was equivalent to the size of a small at McDs or Dunkin(16 oz, I believe). The coffee was just okay, but not flavored and they only had milk or ½ and ½ as options. Not the best coffee ever. The chicken salad sandwich was pretty tasty though. Served on a soft croissant, it was plentiful, flavorful and definitely satisfying. The coffee and sandwich were both a bit over priced in my opinion, but the sandwich being so tasty made up for it.

This place reminded me of the small places for coffee and bits to eat in Ann Arbor, MI. It is so laid back and soothing to the eyes. Places to sit for two or one. Plus they have tables and chairs outside. I even saw electrical outlets in the floor near the seating. You can plug in your electronics and stay. The young lady that waited on me was very friendly. I asked for a Frozen Latte. She helped with the recommendation for the flavor. I was a little Blue that there was no chocolate cherry flavoring. Makes hot or cold coffee splendid. I walked around looking at the goods to buy. I thought I could drop a few Benjamin’s($ 100s) in here on the coffee beans and accessories

The communal space is gigantic, loaded with Circe’s cushions that welcome your Odyssean butt to shun the outside world and lounge in luxe forever… Wait, what happened? It’s been a year! Oh man, I gotta go.* Snagged a Rose Chai prior to embarking on a most elucidating architectural tour. Loved the floral essence in the otherwise off-the-shelf tasting spice tea, and the baristas gave great head… to the drink. Almost too good? My large beverage disappeared quickly, leaving a thick exoskeleton of dairy foam that occupied no less than half the cup. Trickery! My savory scone paled in comparison to her sweet thing, as chock full of blueberries as scones are wont to be. The spinach was a bit to bitter, and(for the second time on this trip to Savannah) the scone’s texture was spongey and bread-like. Do only the paved walkways crumble in the South? WHEREIS A GRITTYSCONE, I ASK?! Outdoor seating if you don’t want to fall victim to the interior’s hynotic living room charm, and the prices are reasonable. I’d swing back by again, and not just because of its prime Chippewa Square location. Dem sofas doe. *Snipped not at all from the a certain epic’s Cliff’s notes.
