I have heard about this place from numerous people and decided to try it out one Saturday for lunch. We had 2 Boardwalk, Pain Don’t Hurt, and Tobacco Road with a basket of fries. I was expecting Krystal’s but got a A class meal. Never thought I would like a hotdog with mayo, but trust me it was good, especially with the combination of chili, onions, and coleslaw. Definitely will be back to try ever item on the menu.

Love this place for sliders! Great selection and awesome flavor. Tiny, dive place but that’s perfect! Love to take my workmates here for lunch. The service is great and the wait isn’t bad at all.

This place is so cool and delicious. We were looking for a place out of downtown Savannah that would satisfy 3 teen age boys and this place filled the bill. Keep your eyes open or you might pass right by. They have a great selection of burger and hot dog slider. Including brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Each one is $ 3 bucks and a side of fries for $ 2 and drinks for $ 2 with free refills. The staff is super friendly and proud to work at Sly’s. Even pointing out that they were reviewed by the NY Times. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

I’ve heard many great things about this place, so I figured I’ll give them a try. I’m glad i did. Walked in to a small cozy setting. The young lady at the front counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us the whole run down of the whole menu. Honestly, everything on the menu sounded great. I really didn’t know what to ordered. I most definitely will be returning.

The food tasted great while I was there and the service was awesome! Especially the girl in the purple lipstick! However, I got really really bad food poisoning && have been puking my brains out! I ate the meatball one and the original slider– however I’m thinking the meatball is what did it.

Heard about Sly’s from the NY Times«36 Hours In…» series and stopped in before heading to Bonaventure Cemetery. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. I had the«Bahn U, Bahn Mi», the«Pain Don’t Hurt», and«The Big Apple» and all were really great. I also tasted the«Lil Angel» which was equally delicious. The fries were really crispy and fresh — and one order is enough to share for 2 – 3 people. A definite stop if you’re in Savannah!

Worst catering experience ever. We placed the order in advance. Came to pick up the order at scheduled time and the manager that took the order wrote down the wrong time. It didn’t come out and apologize and told his employees to tell me he was to busy to apologize. Seriously the most unprofessional manager I have ever seen. He made no attempt to fix this situation and I heard alot of «I don’t know what to tell you». Absolutely ridiculous. So disappointed. Will be reporting them to the better business bureau. He could have fixed this whole thing by coming out of his office to sincerely apologize for his mistake but he acted like a coward. I never leave bad reviews like this but he earned it. Good job Mark

Loved the large selection of different sliders and dogs! I’m normally not a huge fan of sliders but these were so good. They had a good ratio of toppings to meat and everything was cooked well. It didn’t take long for food to come out but it was good to know that everything was fresh and made on the spot! The best thing had to be the cheese fries though… The cheese sauce was so good and the fries very thin and crispy. Definitely recommend the burger and Reuben slider!

Whelp… it’s official. I finally tried this place…& I’m in love! After our trip from J’ville we decided to make a pit stop home before heading back on the road. I made it very clear that I wasn’t in the mood to cook once we got home lol so I took it upon myself to hop on Unilocal to see what would be a good lunch spot. …& so many ppl from Savannah rave about Slys so I said this would be perfect. We walked in & this place is the cutest. It is small… only a few tables but we didn’t mind. We looked at their menu & it took us all day to order lol. Everything seemed like it’d be good. Once we finally made our decision the friendly cashier took our order & we were set. We got our food in a timely manner & let me tell you something… De-freaking-licious. How do you have buns that are soft, warm, & perfectly toasted??? Then the combinations on the burgers, sandwiches, & dogs were spot on! Between the two of us we each had one slider, one dog, & split the fries with the garlic sauce everyone talks about.(the fries can easily feed two). Even though these are sliders, theyre packed with flavor & can be filling. The price range is about $ 3 for the sliders & dogs. Not bad at all! I’m so happy we stopped! Anytime I’m near Savannah & I need a slider fix… this is definitely my go to spot! Thanks Savannah Unilocalers!

A hole in the wall place away from the Historic downtown. It’s a small little cute place, which serves really good sliders, slider dogs and fries. The seating is limited, around 6 tables. I went in on a Sunday at 8pm and was able to find a seat but I can imagine it getting packed on other days. My favorite is the Banh hu, Banh Mi. It’s really crispy and you can’t just eat one. The Pawful of falafel is awesome as well. They are different that normal sliders. I ordered fries with garlic sauce, which was delicious. Everything tastes fresh. The cashier was really friendly and helpful if you are not sure what to get. The service is quick. The prices are really reasonable, $ 3 per slider and slider dogs and the fries are $ 2 plus toppings, which range from 50 cent to $ 2. I definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back to try different sliders.

What an amazing new take on sliders! When I walked in I was immediately greet by a very nice cashier. She explained the menu to me and told me I could customize anything I wanted. I decided to go with three items. I got the shroom sandwich with shiitake and oyster mushrooms with an awesome sauce. I then got a Bahn me tempura shrimp slider with daikon, cucumber, and carrot. It was very very good. I also got the«French» dog, I can’t remember the name but had shallots and blue cheese. They do not a go lightly on the cheese. There was a lot and the dog itself was incredibly flavorful. Lastly I got fries and a drink. The fries were fresh and covered in a great seasoning. I got everything to go and they made sure I had plenty of napkins. As I opened up each slider the smell that was released was intoxicating. You can tell they definitely take pride in the food they serve. Better yet the prices cannot be beat and they were conveniently located. I would definitely venture back for more!!!

The employees are all friendly. The food is prepared fresh with fresh ingredients and local ingredients if possible. The burger aka Boardwalk, could be served a little less cooked than it was but it was still very tasty. The person taking the order was extremely helpful and friendly. Also, free old school arcade game.

The staff was great. They did a great job suggesting sliders they thought we might like and were very nice about answering questions. Had the mushroom, the meatball, and the reuben sliders(can’t remember their fancy names). The mushroom and the reuben were great. My husband also really enjoyed the Bahn Mi slider. However we were both a little underwhelmed by the meatball slider. The meatball was a bit dry for my taste. But, overall, an excellent place to have lunch!

October 9, 2015 Friday — 5:45PM for a dinner 1 adult and a kid Atmosphere — 5 star Food — 4 stars Service — 5 stars Background — I found this place through Unilocal. My daughter wanted burgers, funny thing is she did not order one here. Atmosphere — Wow in a neighborhood I would not think a small restaurant would be in. In an older building but the place has a great retro vibe, the place is small and inviting. Careful going in and out and there are steps that seem out of place. Food Drinks — A Coke from the fountain machine, self-service. Food — I ordered two different sliders. The first one I ate was the Uncle Reuben, clever name. This is the item they are taking the hit on. The thinly slice corned beef was all cooked on top on each other and becoming a thick slab. Still tasted great. I also had the Pain Don’t Hurt, really it is a just merely a flesh wound. This was the winner for me the brisket was smoked really well. They could ditch the fried onion straws as it does nothing for the slider. Also an order of fries, when I asked for them plan I kinda got a brief look as I should have picked something. Service — You place your order at the counter and they take your name. I was waiting to be called but she delivered it to the table. Future –I would like to visit again.

We walked to Sly’s from Forsyth with two kids and it was so worth it! My husband and I loved every single slider we got. My favorite was the brisket slider(pain don’t hurt) PERFECT flavor combinations. The fries were tiny fresh cut fries but a huge helping. My kids loved them and we did too. They also have a free arcade style game in the store front that my son was obviously obsessed with. We will for sure be back!!! Can’t wait to try more sliders!

While in Savannah my Fiancé wanted to try this place and I am so glad we did! We went for lunch and the girl behind the counter was so nice and helpful when deciding what to order. I ordered a Bahn U Bahn Mi slider and a side of fries. Our food came out within 10−15mins. After the first bite I was hooked. It was a twist on the traditional Bahn Mi and this one had a fried shrimp in it. It was so good and full of flavor. The fries were superb! They were hand cut and reminded me of my favorite Boardwalk Fries from back home. If in town this place is a must!

I found Sly’s Sliders one day when I took a wrong turn to get home. I was hungry, the storefront was cute, they were open: the beginning of a beautiful friendship. I love little burgers. They make me feel better about the fact that I’m eating a burger and not an avocado or something. These little burgers were awesome. The sliders come in all ranges of meats from shrimp tempura to the classic patty. I ordered a traditional burger and a shrimp tempura slider with fries. Each slider is $ 3, so they’re affordable enough to mix and match. The regular slider did not disappoint. It was seasoned, well cooked and just what you’d expect in a quality patty. The shrimp tempura had a beautifully cooked jumbo shrimp piece, but the sauce was a little tasteless for me. It was refreshing after the beef patty, but I added some sriracha for extra flavor. The fries themselves were expertly seasoned, beautifully cooked and packaged in a cute little box. I’m all for tiny and cute. For $ 8 and poor navigational skills, I found a nice little lunch spot close to home. If you’re ever out and about around the neighborhood, Sly’s is open for lunch.
