I live in the Troup Square Ward, and oh what a lovely quaint square it is. Not as big as some of the other squares in the historic district, but it’s located in a residential district. There is a restaurant called the Firefly located off of Troup Square as well. There are an ample amount of benches in the square, so just sit down, relax in one of Savannah’s more quiet square, and watch the friendly locals walk their dogs.

[Insert generic review about all Savannah Squares are beautiful, but only one — not this one — was part of that movie.]

This is a lovely square. It features a water fountain for your pets, a really unique statue, and a very calm location. This square is in a gorgeous residential neighborhood and it’s very relaxing. It’s quiet and charming and beautiful. An old church sits on one side of the square and adds a lot to the location. It’s sort of a pink color and looks like a tiny castle. There’s ample green space and a lot benches. I’ve only ever seen families and polite tourists. A sign says that the song«Jingle Bells» was written in this square. Around Christmas time there are holiday decorations and the little turtles on the statue have tiny Santa hats. Overall, one of my favorite squares in the city.

Another good Savannah Square. Troup Square is located on Habersham, between Harris and Charlton Streets.
