The food is excellent here. I routinely drive 30 miles out of the way to eat here because the atmosphere is beautiful and classy. This is a great place to go on a date, with friends, or with family. There are good vegetarian options on the menu. There is a really nice waitress that works the lunch shift and always does a great job at accommodating our requests.

Great and friendly staffs. The restaurant food were good and taste great. The room was so decorated very special. The only reason I am not giving a 5 stars is the hotel was hidden and parking is limited but was not a problem. You can park out on the street.

Decent place located near downtown. Service was good, waitress was nice but curt. She wasn’t very attentive with asking for drink refills even though our table had 11 ppl. Guess since she was the only one doing our group she just winged it. I had the NY Strip, which was ok. Meat wasn’t seasoned and the blue cheese added on top didn’t really add much to flavor. Wine list was average. If given the chance I would probably go again and try another dish besides the steak. It seemed as if the chicken and portobello pizza was a hit. Dessert choices were slices of cake and cheesecake which were«basic» items you can find anywhere. I was hoping to find something new but not so much.

Traveling for work my team and I visit a lot of areas across the country. Unfortunately working in the manufacturing space we don’t get to visit a lot of cultural hot spots but we do get to see a lot of interesting locations. we always try and hunt out the hidden gems where ever we happen to be and this place ranks at the top of the list for small town great food. We were truly surprised by the high quality of food, we had tried several family style restaurants in the area and had about the same expectation for the inn. The service was great and the food blew us away. We now have our standard dinning go to.

I cannot stress this enough. This is THE restaurant in Sayre/Waverly. Having spent countless months here the Brimarie is a diamond in the rough that is the culinary experience of Sayre. The Brimarie has a great setting. One side is more Inn styled seating while the right side is more upscale bar seating. The menu is on the smaller side, but each dish is a winner. The salad and pizza appetizers are full meal sized. The entrees feature seafood, chicken and various meat dishes. I wish I could put into words how this is a must if you are in Sayre. Try it and thank me later!

Those of you who have been or live in the Valley know that fine dining isn’t exactly what the area is known for. I went here with my fiancée, sister, and father, not because we were seeking an elegant meal, but because my sister has a gluten allergy and this is one place that offers food she can safely consume. –Food: Let’s just say that compared to local restaurants, this«ain’t no middle of the mall shit». The menu is unique and upscale and features items like ribeye, fish, specialty salads, seafood appetizers, and more. The four of use have mostly different tastes so a handful of things were ordered(see pictures), but below are some highlights. –Salads: We started off with some salads as my father was a bit late due to inclement weather. I had a Caesar salad, my fiancée had a specialty warm spinach salad with pomegranate seeds and walnuts, and my sister had the dried fruit salad. We all finished our salads and loved them, which is huge given that we all ordered a salad initially to just pass the time. –Appetizers: My father ordered the Tempura Shrimp Cocktail and shared it, and my fiancée got the sesame encrusted tuna steak as her entrée. The shrimp were huge and pretty good, and the tuna steak was fantastic. It was seared perfectly and wasn’t over or under cooked. –Entrees: I had a Kobe burger with cheddar, onions, mushrooms, and bacon, medium well. It was very good and the bun it was served on was the right thickness(not too crunchy, chewy, or thick). Probably one of the better burgers I’ve had. It was served alongside some amazing garlic fries which were shared with my fiancée who also enjoyed them.(watch out for the minced garlic at the bottom of the pile of fries though! It’s not cheese if you decide to take a big burning mouthful, but that’s my fault!) My sister and father had the stuffed porkchop, which was stuffed with some fruits and served with vegetables. Both said it was good and cooked well. And it seems silly to mention, but my sister didn’t end up with an upset stomach, which happens a lot due to cross contamination if she goes out to eat. –Cost: The price tag reflects the upscale menu, and while I’ve been places that definitely cost more, a $ 100+ price tag for a few salads, couple appetizers, three entrees, three waters, and a wine, is pretty expensive for the area. Certain things cost less though, like my burger meal, which was only $ 12. –Atmosphere: The Brimarie Inn, as the name indicates, is also an Inn. It’s a fancy place, and that extends to the dining area. At the same time it’s an older, historical place, and that is seen as well. It’s a bit dark, but also pretty charming. It’s nice. As someone mentioned, I’m not sure about the parking, but we found an empty lot next to the Elk building and didn’t get towed. Feeling lucky? –Service: Our waitress was very nice to us, both checking on us while we were waiting on our 4th party member, and also during the meal. She even got a «cheat sheet» from the chef which had a list of things my gluten-free sister could eat. She made sure that we knew our options and answered all the questions directed towards her with a pleasant attitude. –Overall: I’m not necessarily saying the Brimarie could hold its own against true upscale restaurants you’d find in cities or foodie-rich places, but in the Valley, this is about as upscale as they come. And it was damn tasty. I’d recommend this place to anyone not tight on a budget looking for something other than the fast food, diners, and handful of Italian restaurants the area has to offer.

I went here a few times now on business. I love the food. Absolutely the best food in town and some of the best in the area! Upscale cuisine that is well made and delish! Anyone visiting should definitely check it out.

My boyfriend and I visited the BriMarie Inn recently when visiting my parents. Parking is a bit of an issue, but only because we arrived on Friday night. The rest of the weekend, it was fine. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced — 8 types of serial, coffee, milk, juice, fruit, pastry, etc. etc. Much better than anything you get at one of the standard hotel continental breakfasts. We did not eat at the restaurant, but when I asked friends and family in the area for recommendations, they all raved about how wonderful it is. We will definitely be staying here when we visit my parents in the future.

The food here is amazing! I was so surprised to find this gem nestled in such a small town. I had the steak medallions and they were cooked to perfection topped with a super delicious balsamic sauce with crunchy walnuts. They even take mashed potatoes and green beans to a top notch level… melt in your mouth and full of flavor. If you are passing through the area make sure you take a short detour to stop in and enjoy!

My wife, daughter, son-in-law and I had dinner on New Years Eve at the BriMarie Inn. We started with Margarita Pizza and some spicy egg rolls and both were excellent. I had the NY Strip steak along with my son-in-law an it came with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy with just enough garlic and the beans were cooked perfectly. Not steamed till they were limp but steamed so that they still had a crunch to them. My wife had Tuscan chicken and my daughter had beef medallions in a mushroom sauce with candied walnuts and both dishes were excellent. I will def go back here again.

This place is outstanding! The salads were superb, the lobster was cooked perfectly, and the price was half what you would pay in a big city! Don’t miss eating here if you’re passing through or live nearby. We didn’t stay the night but they showed us their rooms and they were very warm and inviting. A great alternative to nearby hotels. Oh, the people were very down home and engaging.

What an amazing little gem in a small town setting, had i known about this as an option I would have used its overnight accommodations as well but this review is for the food! A refreshing selection of upscale cuisine, mussels, seafood, and steaks. The mussels were not top notch but well prepared and good quality. My Caesar salad was forgettable(which can be OK, its better than a terrible one!). The steak was slightly over cooked to my taste(chiefs preference) but the accompanying sauces(lump crab) and asparagus were delightful. Service was off and on, but overall pretty good.
