My first experience involved a to go order where i had Egg Rolls and an entrée; which inflated my lips and made them tingly; im not allergic to anything in life, but something in those egg rolls was… off. The rest of food seemed alright; not amazing just ok. The service sucks; how can I be the only person in a restaurant and sit with a empty water cup for a long period of time? Oh maybe cause she was busy watching tv. Ive tried them a couple times; but nothing worth while and both times service was the same.

If you’re in the mood for run-of-the-mill americanized chinese food, this is your place. And to be honest, sometimes that’s just what I’m craving. We order takeout from them once in a blue moon. The staff is friendly, takeout service is fast, and the prices are decent. The food is just okay. Since it’s really the only Chinese takeout option we have in Scappoose, it will do on occasion, or in a pinch… but I prefer to drive the 7 – 8 miles to St Helens for much better quality for similar prices.

Very bad service. Not helpful at all, almost just rude. Food is okay, but these people should be told that customer service is Not for them.

I’ve been going to Lung Fung for as long as I can remember and I have always enjoyed the food. From the hot and sour soup to the lemon chicken, their food is very good. Pretty much the usual food that you’d find at your local chinese food place. Although sometimes the service leaves some to be desired, I highly recommend their food again and again.

the beginning was scary, but there was a happy ending. it was a 2pm stop for lunch on Hwy 30. no one was in the dining area except for me, but i saw a couple of people head to the lounge. i saw an elderly Asian lady making something in her hands through the swinging door into the kitchen. i saw red Chile in oil on the tables. both seemed like a good sign to me. even though the décor was tired the bathroom was very clean. the menu is typical American-Chinese featuring general Tso’s and orange chicken and hamburger. the egg roll was startling. was it deep fried? was it coated with a batter? was it reheated in the microwave? the outside was burning hot yet the inside was lukewarm. it took longer than expected for my wonton soup. that turned out to be a good thing. the broth was light and salty. the bowl was loaded with giant wontons, 2 slices of bbq pork, shrimp, bamboo shoots and fresh bok choy leaves. there were so many wontons crowding the bowl i could barely sip the broth. half the amount of wontons would have been more than sufficient and satisfactory. the wontons were tender and the ground pork filling was fresh. the waitress told me the wontons are made in the restaurant. i am going to try this place another time. there must be a reason this restaurant in scappoose has chile in oil on the tables.

Its actually not bad considering its the only place here. The staff was super friendly. We noticed a lot of take out orders and customers coming in to dine. Since I don’t want to drive to Portland I would go here again. Prices good and huge portions. Also the hot and sour soup was really good. :)

Lisa is very nice. She is probably the only reason I keep trying to find a dish I like. Well, I found one. I like the Won Ton soup. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with noodles like in Hawaii. It is chuck full of veggies and a good deal of won tons that are quite plump. I like this but am not in love with it because it can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the pork hash dumplings are seasoned and sometimes not. Bummer. I have tried the Hong Kong style shrimp chow mein for $ 10.50 and was so disappointed that I through it out after eating the shrimp out of it. This is a small town Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. When wanting really good Chinese I will travel to Portland on Sandy. Bummer it is so far though.

As though to prove the abomination(sister restaurant) in No Po wasn’t a fluke or accident, may I present to you Lung Fung part deux, the Scappoose version. One head of the malevolent triumvirate – SE82nd— has been lopped off apparently for good. Jason and his mighty fightin’ Argonauts(wouldn’t that make a cool Sports Mascot?) were none too meticulous in finishing off this hell beast. That this now two-headed hydra continues to steal our oxygen well into the 21st Century, already after decades of inflicting innumerable gustatory torments on an unsuspecting world speaks to its supernatural powers of resilience and adaptability. It is an anachronism by at least 20 years to start any sentence with«So we were out at Lung Fung’s the other night…» but their late-nite powers to serve wickedly greasy, alcohol-absorbing«comfort» nosh to the fine folks spilling out of the bowling alley(Oregon Trail Lanes in St. Helen’s) and Wigwam’s. et al, late night remains confirmed. This chow will sing your drunken arse a lullaby alright, and you’ll awaken a little sadder but apparently not too much wiser in the a. m…

Not great, not bad. For the small town of Scappoose, it’s decent. I’ve had a few dishes from this restaurant. I’m not a fan of fried stuff, tossed in sauce. So, if you stay away from dishes like that, I think you’ll have an okay dining experience. The service was terrible and the server told us it was her 3rd day(3 times).

For a small town Chinese restaurant it is decent. Service was good, and the sauce on to go orders is on the side so things don’t get soggy!
