Carter’s Babies & Kids

I love this place. Everyone in the store is nice over the phone or in person! I can find what I want right away. It’s always neat and clean. There’s never clothes on the floor or in the way of my stroller! I always leave with more than I come for but that’s because they have the cutest clothes ever!!!

I’m sure my child would prefer to be sans clothing 99% of time — judging by her disdain when I put her in an outfit every morning. But since that’s just not a possibility, I’m usually on the lookout for cute, functional and affordable baby clothes. And Carter’s fits the bill just fine… especially since my little nugget seems to outgrow a onesie faster than I can put down a dozen turtle cookies.
Three things you need to know before shopping here…
1) There is ALWAYS a sale going on. Always. So, if you find yourself paying full retail price (as in the price on the tag) for just about anything, you’re a sucker. They typically have coupons too — ranging from come back bucks to 20% off $ 40+. Use the interwebs, folks.
2) These aren’t designer or high ends duds, so don’t expect most of the items to last for the long haul. But since babies grow at the speed of light and like to ruin things through a myriad of bodily experiences, this shouldn’t be a problem anyway.
3) There are some super cute ensembles and then are plenty of stitched onesies with a myriad of sayings… usually «I love (insert family member here).» While this is fun and all for about a minute, I’m personally not a fan of text all over my kid’s chest,
. Grandma and grandpa know that baby girl loves them. We don’t need to sport it on a shirt all day.
