I prefer the oak brook store.

Yep, EB still rates a 5. My wife purchased a down jacket here where the zipper lost parts (the teeth, I think they’re called). EB held to their lifetime satisfaction guarantee as we are getting her another one identical (disclosure: they gave me a store credit and they let me order online from the store itself — works fine by me). I plan on more shopping with EB overall. Can’t recommend enough if their look is anywhere near your cup of tea. If it isn’t, it’s still worth trying their wrinkle free dress shirts — the best I’ve found yet.

It was my first time ever to visit an Eddie Bauer shop. I was in search for a pair of chinos that weekend, and I haven’t found any that fit me well from other shops. I just happened to pass by this place on my way to another shop and figured I should just look.
I was so delighted to see they had a number of options with chinos in different fits and material. The staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and seemed very happy with what they do.
Kaitlyn assisted me and ended my search for the perfect pair of chinos. She was so committed to helping me find one and did she! The chinos (legend wash line in gray) was perfect. I’ve already washed and worn it, and it’s so comfortable with a slim and slimming cut (not skinny like many pants these days) and perfect for work. I would’ve picked up other colors but the store didn’t carry the other colors they had online. I’m definitely ordering more online now that I know my size and fit from being in the store.
When things got so busy for Kaitlyn in the store while I was trying on her picks, her manager JT made sure to assist me. They even had great suggestions for other pants, tops and accessories and being that it was my first time to try out this brand, it really was great to see how their products fit.
I wish my every shopping experience would be like my experience here. It really goes to show when a company treats their staff right, it spills over to how customers are treated. I saw how they treated their other customers while I was there. The staff was just fantastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, thank you for being so helpful and patient, Kaitlyn, and for giving me the products I need (even ones I didn’t know I wanted just yet). I’m now a fan! Great service and great quality products!

Nice selection of gear and friendly staff. I have bought from Eddie Bauer before and have been happy with the quality of their product but this was the first time I was impressed by their service!
Great friendly staff that seemed cheery and not depressed to be at work. Sadly most stores you visit these days its hard to find a smile amongst any of the employees but today must have been the exception or at least maybe this place is a good location to work at.
I had a great conversation with one of the staff members (cant remember her name) about vacations and she truly seemed interested in me and helping me find what was I went in to shop for (gift for the wife).
Nonetheless I walked out with a few goodies.
Thank you for providing service in a day when service seems nonexistent.

Great store for outside jackets and sweaters. Staff is friendly and quick to help. The only downside of the store is the price.

Definitely recommended. And if EB doesn’t have the item you’re looking for in stock, they can help you to order it from their warehouse and have it shipped to your house for FREE! Isn’t that great! It sure is.
