Hugo Boss

I purchased nearly $ 500 worth of clothing on a Monday. On Wednesday of the same week I received an email while out of town that Hugo Boss was having a private sale. I searched online to discover several of the items I had just purchased were now on sale. On Thursday when I returned to town, I called the Hugo Boss store that I made the purchase from to see if I would be able to obtain a price adjustment. I was told yes and that I only needed to bring in the receipt. On Friday, morning I headed out early, receipt in hand, before my flight out of town to this Hugo Boss store to obtain my price adjustment. When I get there Ewelina Burzawa tells me that I need to bring all the items back in to obtain a price adjustment. I explain to her the information I was given and her only offer was that I could exchange at a store closer to where I live, in the city. I’m headed to the airport to catch a flight as I explained to her and won’t be back until late Sunday night. The sale ends on Sunday. I will miss the sale and she has no response other than to call her and let her know what I want to do. I’m not asking for anything that is unfair. I’m only asking Hugo Boss to honor a sale that you have going on for items I purchased 2 days earlier. Seeing as I did my part as instructed I don’t think this is unreasonable. I think it is understandable that I will never shop at that store again. No response from corporate either so I don’t shop at any Hugo Boss any longer and I want to warn others.

This is truly a great store, set apart from most of the boring mens style taking precedence today, this is a great place to build up your closet.
The front half of the store deals more with the casual lines of Boss, the selection is a little smaller than I would like to see, but the pieces they have are so wonderful you hardly ever wonder if you are missing anything. I bought the most beautiful cashmere, camel colored, trench coat here that is as close to art as something not created as art could be. Plenty of polos, casual pants and sport shirts, nice accessories. etc.
The back half is suiting, very nice selection, the carry a lot of the eye candy on Boss’ site, just really beautiful material, and great patterns. Really nice shirt selection, and a wide variety between all of the different fits (Regular, Sharp, Slim). Most of the suits they carry will run on the high end of the spectrum, $ 700 would be on the low side for anything in here, but you get what you pay for. They also have a tailor on site, I’ve only ever had her dart a shirt, which was done as it should be. I’m not sure if she will tailor a suit you buy there, I can’t imagine why should wouldn’t — I would call about that.
They also run sales pretty regularly which is surprising, you’re almost sure to catch a little bit off on a suit if you visit 2 or 3 times. The store is really clean, spacious, and suiting in the back offers some nice seating for anyone accompanying you to sit on while you go through the racks.
I am giving ⁴⁄₅ stars instead of ⁵⁄₅ for 2 reasons. The first being the smaller selection on the casual pieces. Like I said earlier, what they have is usually really nice, but there’s not a lot to choose from which can be a little discouraging. The second being while the suiting section in the back is nicely laid out, spacious, and clean, there’s not so much of an intimate feel. When I am buying and trying on a suit, I like to have my own space, my own mirror, a sense of privacy. I don’t want everyone looking at me each time I look in the mirror, or swapping spots with another customer, because it may not fit right, it may not look right, I can be pretty insecure about it. This boss store really only has one mirror in suiting, and the layout is really only comforting for one person and their entourage. Granted, I have never been trying suits on and had another person there also trying suits on, but if that were ever the case, it would be a bit uncomfortable. They don’t have the luxury of abundant square footage like a Nordstrom, so if your like me and really take your time picking that perfect suit and like the privacy, I would call ahead and go right when they open, or right when they close to avoid other customers.
I usually shop with Kevin, but have on a few occasions shopped with Michelle. Both of them are wonderful, stylish individuals. I would feel very comfortable letting either one of them dressing me. Both offer a long term relationship to build up over time if that’s your thing.
Great store, well made clothes that sit in a nice price range above Macy’s and below some of the absurdity at a Neiman’s. Style sticks out and will surely turn some heads. Great place for a stylish man of any age to add some wonderful pieces to his closet.

Needed a really great suit for a upcoming wedding, tried on a really great suit that fit like a glove. One heck of a great cut. Ask for Kevin, he was very helpful in picking out just the right items so I’ll look like a million bucks! Everyone was friendly each time I came in, keep this place in mind!
