Marshall Field’s

I like that they have a lot of deals on their designer items but I hate that you have to really dig to find everything. If they kept everything a little more organized I think more people will be recommending this place.
Also the staff is neither friendly nor mean so take that as an advantage or disadvantage if you decide to visit this location.
I do also wish they had more areas for only designer racks rather than mixing unknown names in the piles as well.
But overall I would recommend it because if you go in there with the intent to just find anything that tickles your fancy then you will but if you’re looking for top designer brands you might have a little harder time finding what you like due to the quick depletion of sizes and colors, etc.

This is a hit or a miss kind of a place. They have good shoe selection, but you may NOT find your size. They sometimes have nice designer purses. Good for scarves, hats, accessories, lingerie, kids toys, home goods. Clothes are still expensive compared to Ross. Go on a week day and in the morning. It gets pretty unorganized on weekends.

When we initially walked in, we were both incorrectly under the assumption that everything would be overpriced. Many of the pieces that we ended up finding and agreeing upon were well within our price range. Don’t get us wrong though, there were still a number of things that were in the several-​thousand-​dollar-​range, but it was refreshing to find such nice quality pieces at a reasonable price.
The salespeople were helpful and did not hover or «attack» us quite as much as many other places that we have been to (ahem — Harlem furniture), which was refreshing. Our saleswoman also (begrudgingly) mentioned how there is a clearance section on the second floor.
This was by far one of the most aesthetically appealing showrooms, and we will be returning soon.
