I absolutely love this place and the people who work there. My gf bought me my first pair about three years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. Glasses, clothes, accessories I have it all now. The company alone is amazing. I’ve been to all three locations for Oakley near me, the water tower, gurnee mills and this one at woodfield. I will go to this store eveytime no matter what. Not only does this location have the best selection of product and will soon be the place to customize from top to bottom your own oaks but they have the best people. They are all passionate about what they do and what they sell. They don’t care if you spent 20 $ on a shirt or 200 $ on glasses they care about you as the buyer just coming back and seeing what’s new. They are just plain amazing. I am a life time customer of Oakley and of the woodfield location.

I’m a big fan of Oakley products and have been ever since I joined the Marines. It was nice to see that my favorite mall just so happened to have an Oakley store. However, what I found inside the store was nothing I expected. I’m not referring to the products, but the service they did not offer. I was not greeted at the door, but there were two gentlemen chatting up a storm at the entrance. They were too busy to ask if I needed any help. I was probably at their sunglasses display for about 30 min and not once was I approached. Instead, I went up to the man behind the register and asked him for help. He seemed annoyed as to why I would be asking him what I wanted to purchase. I simply said«I would like to purchase the M-frame with two sets of lenses. One polarized and one clear.» Then I asked if the logo could be customized and he said only on the website. I said nothing more and walked out, not because of the logo but the service alone. I really hope they do something about it.

A bit pricey, but one of the best products available. good location, and good service. Always friendly and helpful. Supposed to be getting an optometrist in store by the end of 2014. FYI, Oakley does do prescription glasses on any of their frames as long as your rx is single vision and not super strong. I never knew that. It is very expensive though, considering they do not discount frames or lens’ and do not take insurance.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. In order to review their customer service, I would need to receive some. BF and I have shopped a lot there over the past few years but I refuse to any more. We were not greeted at all. The two young girls working in the store would not even look up from wht they were doing. We asked about a watch. One of the girls walked over, told us it was $ 2000 and titanium, then walked back to the register. We will not be returning to shop at this store.

The only reason this place is getting one star is because Unilocal will not allow me to give none. I went into the mall a few days ago to shop for something for a relative. I happened to walk by the Oakley store and curious about the Sale they had advertised, my friend and I decided to see if they had any snowboard gear on sale. The mall was empty and the store was just as empty. Three female workers were congregating around the register as we walked in. Not one of them greeted us. one was very infatuated with the mirror behind the register, another was sharing her discontent for her evening plans, while the third just meandered aimlessly back and forth. I walked to the table in front of the register, which happened to have the sale items, with the snowboard gear located right behind it. While my friend walked and looked at the female snowboard gear located to the right of the register. Still, no one greeted us. The ‘not happy with her night plans’ associate walked right past me as I was looking at the goggles that were enclosed in a glass case. My friend asked me how they compared to the current goggles I have. I made the comment ‘I do not know how they fit because they are behind the glass, but it would be nice to see them.” Ms. «unhappy with night plans’ walked by me, still airing her discontent about her night plans, did an about face, and walked past me again, all the while continuing to air her grievances to Ms. «infatuated with her reflection». As I moved about the store, I watched the associates do nothing other than chat amongst themselves. I even walked past the register again to look at a pair of GPS goggles that was on display. I played with the goggles for about 2 minutes, while obnoxiously telling my wife that I had no clue on how to use them. The girls continued to mindlessly chat amongst themselves, except I think at this point all three of them had turned their attention to the mirrors. Oakley makes some great products, and being in the military, I love them even more. If Oakley could only hire associates as reliable as their products, they might have a successful sale model.

Awful service. They act like they are surfers in the middle of woodfield. Lax, and incompetent. Never do service with again.

It seems that once you have one pair of Oakley’s you are hooked for life. Yes that would describe me amongst many other loyal customers. I have pairs I have had for over 10 years, and the only reason I usually buy more is because the styles change and I just«need» a new pair. The store has a good selection and I ”need” another pair of glasses that have polarized lenses. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helped me choose a pair. Love the glasses, my only but would be that they leave a slight mark on my right cheek because they rest on it ever so slightly. I have been trying to figure out if the glasses are slightly crooked as this has never happened to me before. Either way I know I can send them back and Oakley will, as they always have, stand by their product.

Overall a decent Oakley Store. Selection here is good, and you are bound to find something cool. Pricewise, this location is ok, but you are better off hitting the Oakley Store in Gurney Mills if you want a real deal.

So I went into this store the other day. I had never been there before so I was a little curious what was in there. All you can see in their display windows are sunglasses. So I went in there and noticed I was the only one in there. I was also NOT greeted. There was a heavier set woman at the register. I was looking at the sunglasses and she did not approach me at all or asked if I had any questions. I went up to her and she immediately looked annoyed that I went up to her. So I asked her some questions about the sunglasses. I had no idea oakley store carried ONLY oakley sunglasses. Some of the sunglasses dont even have the oakley brand on them. I asked her if they carried certain brands and she gave me a weird look. I had no idea what brands they carried. I kept askin her questions about different sunglasses and I know she was SOOOANNOYED with the questions. The look i got from her was, «Do you not know anything about this store??» I have never been in the store since. Very rude ugly woman at the register with bad facial expressions is a combination for disaster. I hope she has left because I do not wanna go in there anymore.

I love Oakley products. I fell in love with their sunglasses years ago and have been a loyal customer since. Great goggles for snowboarding, sunglasses, and even great outerwear for the snow. I wouldn’t recommend their basic clothing, that’s way too expensive for something you can get anywhere, as nothing makes it stand out. I’ll always stick to their goggles. Of all the ski-goggles I’ve tried, these have never fogged up on me with the great ventilation of the Wisdom line… Not to mention the fire iridium looks tight with the reflective burnt orange surface.
