If I could give 0 stars I would. I relocated up here and this spot isn’t far from where I live. I decided to give it a try with a simple order of chicken wings with french fries and chicken wings with pork fried rice. How could I go wrong? Not only was the food soggy and not fresh it was nasty and flavorless. Disappointment isn’t just a word. I will never return with fear of getting food poisoning and a flood of discontent. Oh and the service is TERRIBLE. The woman at the front is not pleasant or welcoming at all.

Good price good portions, good food. the thing I was disappointed in was the egg foo young sauce. They use regular brown sauce instead of the eggfooyoung sauce that most Chinese take out have. I did get 2 eggrolls with my 1 combo dinner, it usually comes with 1 but hey I wasn’t complaining!

My favorite chinese food place ever. Even when they pick up the phone they’re like, «what you want» — not the friendliest but it makes me laugh and their attitude is okay considering their food is amazing. Fried rice is always on point. Highly recommend!!!

China Dragon is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout restaurant which serves up the standard Chinese dishes including Szechuan, Hunan, Cantonese specialties. The prices are pretty reasonable, most dishes are priced under $ 10. 51 Lunch Specials($ 4.95-$ 5.45) are offered, served with roast pork fried rice and choice of soup, egg roll, or can of soda. 29 Combination Plates($ 6.15-$ 7.00) served with pork fried rice & egg roll are also offered. I was driving through Schenectady recently and I was getting a bit hungry for a late lunch around 2:50PM. I knew that most Chinese restaurants stop serving lunch specials at 3PM and I really wanted to spend under $ 6 with tax and get plenty of food for my money. On a whim, I decided to call up China Dragon on Chrisler Avenue for some takeout, so by the time I arrived there, the food would be ready at 3PM. The gentleman on the phone quickly took my order for the L10: Shrimp Lo Mein Special Lunch(I did not have a China Dragon menu on me, so I was asking as I ordered) and he quickly hung up without asking my name. I assumed he was on this order immediately, as I headed over to China Dragon. I arrived at China Dragon at 3PM on the nose and my food was all set($ 5.35 please!) and I grabbed a can of Diet Pepsi out of the cooler. The good sized lunch portion of food was piping hot and pretty good tasting. The lo mein noodles were firm, cooked just right with tender shrimp, scallions & vegetables, not too salty. The fried rice(yellow color) was firm and had tender sweet cubes of roast pork, fried onions, and scallions. China Dragon in Schenectady is now in my speed dial!
