A great spot for brunch. Love how the owner is the only employee. He’s super nice and easy to talk to. Very compassionate and a skillful chef! Really glad I stumbled upon this place.

Tiny breakfast shop that serves morning sandwiches. The shop is run and operated by the owner only… he’s the only working hands inside this place. I had stopped here with my cousin for a couple of sausage egg and cheese sandwiches. The bagels were fresh, every bite had good flavor. The only. bad side is that he works alone which makes services a tad slow of there’s 2 or more customers.

Stopped in earlier today for a breakfast sandwich. Guy working the grill/counter was super friendly and the sandwich was ready in under five minutes. Great place to stop in and grab some breakfast, or hang out and get a coffee.

A great place for a casual but still pleasant and cozy meal. The soup and sandwiches are deceptively tasty and the coffee never disappoints. I usually go with a bagel and tomato basil soup for dipping, but when I’m really hungry I go for one of the heftier sandwiches. Most of the food is breakfast/brunch oriented and the MVP is my personal favorite(egg, sausage, cheese, red peppers, chipotle mayo). There’s usually only one man behind the counter and he might be the nicest person I’ve ever encountered. He enjoys talking about the weather so make sure you pay attention before you walk in. The prices are reasonable and for a one-man show I’d say the service is pretty quick too. Overall: 8⁄10 I should eat there more

An excellent spot to get breakfast food. Available any time of day. The owner there is also the chef, and he is artful in his food preparation. I usually get a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Both of which are perfect. The atmosphere is almost a hybrid. Overall it’s a quiet spot, but the front is more stop in diner, and the back is more kick back lounge. Definitely recommend stopping in here!

By far the best breakfast burrito i ever had maybe the best breakfast i ever had lol. It was that good twice! Very warm friendly atmosphere and i think it was brad who made me the burrito very professional and should continue to be in the service industry vs some of the local service industry busineses??? gets 5 stars from me.

My wife and I were looking for a place for some good soup on a rainy day. We found some! We had amazing chicken chipotle soup with a toasted sesame bagels. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

I can’t say enough good things about Katz Kafe. The owner is great, the environment is warm and cozy, and the foods is fantastic. Be sure to check out the Brunch Specials because they often have unique, delicious, creations. Today I devoured the Stockade Sandwich. It was a toasted turkey, ham, and swiss sandwich with strawberry jam. Unusual, but one of the best lunches I’ve tried in a while.

Another Jem on Jay… As another reviewer mentioned the Katz Meow is awesome, and my regular sandwich for lunch there but they also do breakfast any time of the time day, and you can never go wrong with that! Whatever ever you choose from the menu is sure to be great and fresh and the customer service is always excellent. They also have amazing baked goods that are always terrific and unique… Not to mention that they are flexible and willing to mix things up to get another flavor out of one of their awesome offerings… If your around Jay Street you owe yourself a visit to Katz(they also serve you quickly so you’ll have plenty of time to eat, even ona short lunch break)

I’m a big fan of breakfast from Katz. To be entirely honest, I never go here for lunch for some reason, but I’m pretty much here all the time for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches at Katz may not be low-calorie sandwiches, but unlike the stuff from Subway, the sandwiches here actually have flavor. And they use real eggs. Have you SEEN the folks at Subway make those breakfast muffins? You know, where they take the bizarre, spongy sheet of «egg» and slice it into quarters? Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. That stuff is OK, but it’s no Katz breakfast sandwich. At Katz, you actually watch them crack the egg — which is clearly a _real_egg — as they make your sandwich. Thumbs up from me.

This little joint on Jay street is the place to be for lunch! I am telling you, get the Katz Meow — you will be won over just like I was, and I only went once! Its a Ciabatta sandwich that has hot shaved turkey, chipotle mayo, roasted red peppers, swiss cheese, and lettuce and tomato. It was DELICIOUS! I also would have liked to have tried some of their cakes, but there was no time, or room! They also serve breakfast all day, and also take custom baking orders!
