Called about putting in some shut-​off valves for the hot water heater. The unit is supposed to be installed with at least one (cold water line) but was not. Had to repeat myself twice to the woman on the phone who couldn’t seem to understand what it was that I needed done. Finally, she says she’ll have them — I’m assuming the people who may actually know something and do the work — call back in the morning. No one ever called back. The next day or any day thereafter. I suppose my job was too «small-​time» for these guys to be bothered with. Luckily, I had a competitor come and do the job in 20 minutes with no issues and no complaint and at a fair price.
