This is probably one of the best donuts I have ever consumed! Warm, melts in your mouth, fluffy, yet substantial. Buy a box of them as you will be going back for seconds and thirds. We ordered the basic glazed donut and it was outstanding.

This has to be the closest to the original Shipley’s in Houston! Always good, always fresh, made all day excellent Customer service despite how busy they are, in always greeted with a smile! No Shipleys in San Antonio can complete with quality, or customer service! Thank you Shipleys for NEVER disappointing!!!

We came back for more and this time the cakes donuts were pretty dry. Maybe it was an off day? The apple fritters were good though.

Kinda hard to get it without people trying to run you over to get to the Starbucks nearby. But staff always greats you with a smile and food is always fresh!

Great doughnuts! My wife and I purchased 6 with the thought to save for later we are all of them in one sitting!

Okay, I love Shipley’s donuts. Always have. But I stopped at this location on the way to Austin and was greeted by the friendliest, smiley and quick drive thru window staff! They made my day! I will stop here all the time now!!!

We didn’t like their selection of doughnuts. It was not the right texture. We visited this place once and haven’t been their since. I never wrote a review. We ordered a dozen doughnuts of assortment to give it a try. No one really ate the doughnuts when they got home. It lasted about 4 days and finally someone threw the rest away. Not a big wow factor for us. It tasted like frozen doughnuts that were thrown in a fryer. Sorry. Not a big fan. If my children won’t it something is wrong.

I love myself some donuts. I also love myself some great customer service. And recently, I have discovered the glorious things that are kolaches.
Donut wise, I like how I never hit sweetness overload (*ahem Krispy Kreme ahem*); it’s at the perfect sugar level.
Hands down, Shipley Do-​nuts also has the best group of employees I’ve come across! They didn’t mind when I took 15 minutes of my sweet time going over the menu and asked about the different donuts they had on display, but ended up buying regular donut holes (how on earth did they not get annoyed by that?). Everyone is all smiles, and every customer is treated like family. If Disneyland didn’t exist, this place would be definitely be in the run for happiest place on earth.
Finally, the kolaches… Mmm… I am already on my second one as I am typing this, and actually, I don’t want to write about the kolaches. I want you go get your truck over to Shipleys and buy some kolaches. The jalapeño sausage kolaches. Right now.

Love this place! The staff is always super friendly. We also think their fresh apple fritters and jalapeño sausage kolaches are to die for. The only thing that could make them better is if they were calorie free! :)

Never been to a Shipley’s donuts before. This location is in the same shopping center as the old CBQ eatery. I ordered a huge apple fritter, and it sure hit the spot and was delicious. It was a little too sweet though, and I got the shakes. The staff here is unbelievable and is second to none. They greet you the minute you walk in, all the tables are spotless, and they ask if you enjoyed your sweets.
I was waited on by a mother and daughter team. If they are not the owners or franchisees, the owner has found gold in these employees. I can get a donut and coffee anywhere – and this coffee really isn’t that good, unlike the fritter – but I would drive across town for these smiling, friendly faces. Unbelievable.

Shipley Do-​nuts, DELCIOUS! I brought the family here and we loved it. The donuts are hard to describe they are not overly sweet. They taste delicious without that only sugar taste. I guess the best way to describe it is they have a bite to them not just chewy dough. Great selection to choose from, they had something for everyone. This place gets packed on the weekend so get in early. Staff was excellent and happy to help. I will definitely come back to this location for more…

Having just immigrated my husband from Canada we have been in the hunt for a Tim Hortons alternative and coming up short every time. Until this morning when on a whim I decided to give Shipleys a try. Got him a coffee, an assortment of kolaches and donuts.
Coffee passed the test and the food was a big hit. I don’t think I’ve heard him ooh and ahh so much with each bite.
The staff was so friendly and patient as I sat looking at the display if donuts trying to figure out what to try. I ended up with a glazed cinnamon twist (awesome), a bear claw (great!), a cookies n cream (tasty), apple filled (delish), and a devils food (wonderful)
If you want great food and coffee I def recommend Shipleys.

I don’t know what’s so good about the donut’s here but I think all donuts taste and look the same like any other place. I ordered a dozen of each donut they had. All was good and fully loaded with all the sugar you need and wash it down with a cup of Joe. They have a drive thru too! Makes it more convenient to get your donuts!

I have never had a Bear Claw. Shocking, I know.

The Bear Claw was alright I suppose. I’m not a donut aficionado, but the kolaches? Who doesn’t love various meats and cheeses enveloped in warm yeast dough?
