I noticed that this place doesn’t have any reviews, which is a shame, so I’m writing one now so that this entry doesn’t feel so empty. I live in the bay area, California, so what am I doing writing a review about this deli in Schiller Park, Illinois? Well, every year for the past few years, I’ve traveled to the Donald E. Stephenson convention center on business. And the first time I was there, I was driving around looking for food, and came across this deli. Ever since that first time, I make a yearly pilgrimage to this place to buy weird sausages to bring home with me. This place is not what comes to my mind when I see«deli», and indeed, when I first walked in, I was completely confused. I don’t even think they sell sandwiches there. They certainly don’t have any of the typical deli fare. But what they do have is a huge variety of eastern european(I think) sausages. And they’re all delicious!!! It still feels a little weird… I’ve only seen eastern european or russian clientelle, and the owner speaks very little english, so I feel a little out of place. But don’t be intimidated! If you’re looking for something different, do give this place a try. I have never been disappointed, and I’m slowly working my way through all of the varieties of delicious sausages they have for sale.
