This is solely about Caitlin. HORRIFICEMPLOYEE. While I’d say most of the staff on the Subway side of this Pilot are good, there are several that are rude, disrespectful and shocking unprofessional. But none have ever left me so enraged that I felt compelled to share my thoughts with the world… until today… So world… yes this Subway is very convenient and large and 24hrs and they provide good food. However, Caitlin is without a doubt the most immature, ignorant, nasty, deplorable and disrespectful employee there! She simply made a mistake on my salad… no big deal… it happens, but from there her outrageous behavior, commentary, physical actions and finally the words that came out of her mouth have left me in utter shock and disbelief that she’s paid to service the public. If anyone out there values even a modicum of appropriate and courteous service… BEWARE. She’s a disgrace to the community.

This place is all about convenience. It’s a half mile north of I-90 Exit 12. It’s also part of a Pilot Travel Center with a large convenience store and very competitive gas prices. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly, and there are plenty of tables and booths for dining in. And when I wanted to have«fountain water» with my sub, I got a 20 oz. fountain beverage cup instead of the dinky 6oz plastic cups you get at many places. It’s very crowded at lunch, with lots of truck drivers and regulars. I was, however, disappointed to find out that this Subway would not take my Subway Rewards card for points. That’s because this franchise is owned by Pilot, and it participates in Pilot’s rewards program. That also means you can’t use the rewards card here to get a free sub. That is their prerogative, of course. My loss, but a gain for people who use the Pilot reward program. The cashier did gave me a Subway Card Program form which I could fill out and SNAIL mail in with copies of my receipts. So just because I’m a dorky consumer(with a degree in math), I decided to do the calculations on this. My $ 5 foot-long would have given me 5 points, and you need 75 points for a free foot-long. So basically 1⁄15th of a sub. Since most foot-longs are anywhere from $ 5 to $ 9, this 1⁄15 of a sub amounts to a savings of between 35 and 60 cents, offset by the cost of postage(there is no way to send the request in by email). It would be worth it if I made a large purchase, like a party platter, or ate here regularly and submitted a lot of receipts all at once. But if I’m going to eat here regularly, I would be getting the Pilot rewards card anyway. It’s still a really convenient place to eat.
