Starbucks

What I like about this location is the easy going feel of it. Doesn’t have the hussle and bussle of many other locations, always easy to get a table, rarely has loud talking people, it’s just pretty quiet.
So, when I came this time around and I saw the sign for 50% off all strawberry drinks I couldn’t turn it away. It’s been awhile since I had a strawberry smoothie blended with real strawberries giving it more of a strawberry taste than the other strawberry drinks they have. I settled for a grande since I just got done eating a big lunch. I placed my order, paid for it, and got the drink in less than 5min. It tasted fantastic. Service was friendly, courteous and done with a warm smile.
For the few minutes I waited, I did notice everything was clean. Nothing left on the tables, or on the floor to be picked up. Crème station was well stocked. Staff were nicely dressed, not sloppy, very professionally appropriate.
Now, on to shopping!!!

I must correct myself in that THIS is by far the BEST ON ISLAND! There are always seats, friendly staff & customers are military, so we respect one another. Clean… actually spotless and perfect temperature.
Jazz music good volume, drink made with care. I actually love it here. 6 days until Christmas and empty. Awesome in all aspects. COME HERE!!!

Normally I get great service. But this morning is the second time they gave me the wrong size. So irritated.

Out of all the Starbucks I’ve gone to across the globe, this location is hands down, continuously the worst. The drinks are garbage, the staff is garbage, the shop is always dirty and cluttered and they ALWAYS get your drink wrong. Sadly, because of the location (on an army post) the shop will remain in their same garbage ways since they’re employed by aafes and not Starbucks, but even that isn’t a good excuse because the fort Irwin starbucks was always on point. Also, for the same price and 10x better coffee, drive a few miles out of your way and go to Green World, your life will change.

Probably the rudest bunch of people I have every encountered at ANY Starbucks. What makes it worse is that this is located at Schofield Barracks serving the people who serve this country and I’m told that because I asked for light ice in my iced coffee that they have to top it up with milk. It had more milk than coffee and that’s not an exaggeration. I replied that I have been to every Starbucks on this island and so many on the mainland and not once was I told that. I’ll never come back here again.

This Starbucks is always busy, in the morning, the afternoon, the evenings, busy busy busy. However the staff is always nice and they do things pretty fast.

This location is a good one. Not great, but good.
The lobby is very spacious with plenty of places to sit, and the openness of the location alleviates patrons of feeling claustrophobic. While the BX is very brightly-​lit with white walls, this Starbucks maintains its dimly-​lit atmosphere that’s rather comforting.
This Starbucks is a licensed store. In my experience, licensed stores do not perform at the same speed or quality that corporately-​owned stores do (and often do not know the Starbucks menu as well as corporate partners do), but the partner who made my drink was very knowledgable and masterfully made me a Starbucks Double Shot on Ice, sub white chocolate mocha, with breve. Shoot, even certain corporate stores don’t know what the Double Shot is.
One of the things that is holding me back from giving this location a five– star review is how tunnel-​visioned some of the partners are. The partner that was tending to the condiment bar only did so because I notified them that the napkin dispenser was out. They seemed off-​put that I had interrupted their previous task, so when I tried to lighten the mood by making small talk, they said nothing and didn’t bother to look at me either. Not very nice.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to hit this Starbucks, but I wouldn’t hesitate to go in either. No partner discounts, but that’s alright.

I’ve been here a few times and it has been your average Starbucks, but I decided to chime in today. I came in today right before the morning rush and they had no water bottles and when I asked they still said they had none, which I thought was strange. When they gave my order of a black iced coffee to the employee and she said no sugar and confirmed then mumbled «that’s gross.» Keep it classy Starbucks. Coffee was fine for Starbucks and service was fast at least.

This isn’t the best Starbucks. A lot of the staff are under trained and have a hard time moving the line and making the drinks to the Starbucks standard.
A few dislikes, they don’t offer the traditional free wifi, which is an extreme putty because this is your military members that you want to charge to use it. Tsk tsk.
It’s usually pretty clean so that is a plus. On a hot day we’ll get a quick frap here for convenience but again it isn’t there best location.

I go to Starbucks all the time, but this time was very unpleasant. I went with my mother because we needed a pick-​me-​up and the lady at the register was very unfriendly, she wouldn’t even smile at us. I got a grande iced matcha latte with light ice, and my mom got an unsweetened iced coffee with light ice. We wait about 5 minutes for our drinks and when they are sent out i notice that my cup is mostly ice. My moms is filled to the brim with ice too. I don’t mind ice in my drink but Starbucks is notorious for adding too much and that’s why I usually ask for light. Also, my mothers drink was made sweetened and my mother didn’t notice until we were already outside and she cannot drink normal sugar. Needless to say, going today was a complete waste of money and we won’t be back.

Just a regular starbucks. Nothing more and nothing less. Big open space with chairs and tables. It’s located to the left when you enter the bx.

Starbucks is Starbucks. Only one around Schofield so it receives an extra star. I got the double chocolate chip which was perfect for a hot, muggy day out in Schofield area x. It’s about average size and had the same ambience as all the other Starbucks.

Drove all the way to get a cake pop. One of my impulsive cravings. They close at 9 and at 8, when I got there, they’d already had everything taken back and were closing down! All I wanted was my cake pop!!! .I know yall had some left overs, stingy fuq’s.

Poor management, I feel bad for the employees that work there:(

The lines are long around 8ish! So go as early as you can. Usually the line moves quickly but depends on who works! But due to everyone ordering multiple drinks and complicated orders (well maybe not complicated), don’t expect them to be fast about it. I’ve seen some catty reviews on here saying it’s not like other Starbucks… it’s not but there’s only one on base and everyone goes here so cut the workers some slack. They try their best!

This Starbukcks have been our daly stop for last 4 & ½ years staff have been so friendly and they always make our drinks good we really going to miss our daly visit

Never had my order done wrong, but I’ve always had friendly service! I love how they never seem to be out of stock on anything when I go, too.

I’ve been here a few times, and once during on my lunch break to get some work done. Boy, it does get busy during lunch! But I noticed that it slowed down once lunch hour is over.
I like that there is an ample amount of seating. There are not a lot of outlets since it is inside the Schofield Barracks Main Store Mall. If you’re lucky, there’s about one or two in the back corner.
I agree with one other Unilocaler; like the other Starbucks locations, the staff are friendly here, but the lines appear to be very long and slow. Perhaps they can use more staff.
I’ll come here if I do need a Starbucks fix since it’s close to work.

There seems to be a bit of a staffing issue here. Some mornings when you stop in for your morning cup of «please don’t let me fall asleep on the job add three extra shots please» despite the line wrapping around what seems like half the building (and trust me its been long, the line moves quickly and efficiently, but other times they are definitely short staffed and ill equipped to handle the morning rush and 15 – 20 minutes later only 5 people have gotten their drinks and you’re surely going to be late for work.
They also consistently don’t seem to have a well stocked pastry case or enough syrups (they run out of the pumpkin spice on a regular basis when other stores consistently have it on stock indicating that perhaps they’re not ordering enough, etc.).
The baristas are always friendly and even when its super busy they are always nice and don’t make you feel rushed at the register. I have had my drink order messed up a few times, but they have always been great about fixing it.
