Got our orders right, though our ice cream cone was broken before they have it to us. The person kept pressuring us to hurry and finish placing our order. The employee kept saying is that it? All right drive through. Glad we only ordered desserts.

Do not come here no matter what. Save yourself. It’s bad. Very, very bad. Dirty restaurant, filthy kitchen, confused staff, and rampant despair. Our lunch experience was comically disastrous. We pretty much gave up about halfway through our visit. You’d rather be hungry than come here. I promise.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for a Dairy Queen, but this place needs to have a management change. On a recent trip, I made a stop here to indulge in a blizzard. While waiting, I heard a string of profanity from one (or more?) of the employees working behind the counter. To be clear, I am no saint, and my ears are not virginal, but Dairy Queen is not a place where you would expect to hear such language, and at such a volume to be heard in the dining room. In addition, I saw one of the employees interacting with an elderly customer, and doing so in a very impatient manner.
Any future stops I make in Schulenburg will be made at the Whataburger.

Terrible service and filthy. Left after waiting 10 minutes at counter with no acknowledgement that we were even there. The employees could care less. One star is a huge stretch.

We got a refund and left after 35 minutes of waiting for our food and never receiving it. I ordered nachos and my wife ordered toast and gravy. This being a small town there aren’t many choices later in the evening. Needless to say this won’t be a choice regardless. To top it off I watched a roach crawl up the side of the ice cream cooler as I watched my wife getting the refund at the counter.

Horrible experience. The crew was lazy and unmotivated. The cashier (Jeffrey) was handling money and food without washing his hands. The cook (Large Hispanic man with a limp) was sniffling and wiping his nose with his arm. Took us 30 minutes to get our food. Do not visit this restaurant.

If I could post a negative number I would. This place is Is a joke. DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY. The person taking orders is ridiculously rude, rolls her eyes as you attempt to ask questions. It took 40 minutes to get our food. They claimed to be out of gravy and taco sauce so we ate chicken strips and tacos without either. The bathrooms are disgusting and when asked to replace the toilet paper and paper towels they claimed that they were too busy. We will never patronize this place again and I hope no one else does either until they clean house.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Besides the restaurant being extremely dirty and unsanitary, the staff was rude and disrespectful. They ran out of what we ordered, then proceeded to mess up our order and forget 4 items that we ordered… After asking them very nicely to PLEASE fix it, the server got an attitude and said «I don’t know, I didn’t make it,» and shoved us our food, refusing to fix the order. Then, on our way out, she turned to the kitchen staff and called us crazy while rolling her finger around her head. She does not know we saw her do this. Customer service is NOT a priority here. Take your business elsewhere.

If I could give this zero stars I would beyond ridiculous spend money else where drive 25 miles out of your way to get wrong food and end up with wrong order and call and drive back for an excuse after excuse horrible

For an empty fast food restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, service was slow, and disorganized. Not what I have seen in other locations. The restrooms were in bad shape.

Stopped here on the way back to Houston. My boyfriend waited in line to order while I went to the bathroom. Good thing I did because I saw a dead cockroach on the floor in there. I ran out and we both left before he had the chance to order. So glad we didn’t eat here!

Unbelievably unorganized here. Went through drive through, told to pull around. Waited 20 minutes, had to come in to request my food. They knew what I ordered and was surprised I didn’t get my food. I am now in this store watching these girls work, which makes complete sense as to why I have had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get fast food. I am now on my 10th minute as I wait inside for my food. Just save the headache and stay away

This is one of the worst DQ’s I’ve ever been in. The girl working the counter was rude. The ice machine was out. Service was very slow. And our order was incorrect. When we asked to talk to the manager we were told he had gone to pick up an employee.
The bathrooms were small and filthy and there were spiders in there and flies everywhere in the dining room.
Honestly, thus was one of the worst fast food places I’ve been in a very long time.

The service made me want to punch myself in the head and crotch repeatedly. This is the worst Dairy Queen in America, which easily puts it in the running for crappiest place on Earth, and I’ve seen some crap holes. How does half your staff take a smoke break while you’re waiting on your drive through order, tell you to pull forward and wait because «foods ain’t done fryin», and then bring it to you 15 minutes later cold. 25 minutes, no ketchup, no napkins, wrong drink. Astounding. All I wanted was chicken fingers and I got a box full of sadness and a feeling of disappointment I didn’t know was possible to have. I will never go to this place again in my life.

My family stopped here on the way back to Houston. It’s your typical small town DQ. The restaurant was clean and extremely tidy. The staff were all friendly and service was quick despite being busy. There is certainly room for improvement in the women’s restroom. I’d give it a 5 out of 10 stars. It’s small & cramped with poor lighting. The trash needed emptied and the paper towels were out. No room to change a baby. There was a covered/​enclosed patio which would be great if you have small kids that need to run off a little steam on a long trip. I would stop here again.

Worst service. Ever! GM runs around doing all the work while a couple of lazy teens take turns eating, resting and taking breaks! I waited 20 for a simple vanilla cone! Never got it. Teen gave me attitude when I asked for a refund; probably because she didn’t know how to do it. She opted to start helping the drivethru instead. GM finally gave me a refund after a big fake display of concern. Showed her the time on my receipt and she just says «How’d that happen?» If that is the best they can do then shut that grimy joint down. After standing there for 20 mins I’m glad I had time to look around. It can’t be safe to eat here. Don’t do it. I’m just sayin’.
