Whataburger

I have been raised on Texas Whataburger and the burger place has always been my «go to» for comfort food. Schulenburg location has missed the «toasted bun» request and scorched the earth! More disappointing is a lack of response form HQ from an on line complaint I submitted. Poor food and poor customer service… what is this world coming to?

So were driving back from Houston to San Antonio and we wanted to stop at our favorite fast food burgers, Yep wataburger. So we go in and order some burgers and it takes forever. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. The lady making the burgers in the back were moving extremely slow and acted like they could care less that people are waiting forever. My burger was cold and my onions were rancid, I’m back at home in San Antonio praying that I don’t get sick. Stay away from water burger in Schulenburg

Whataburger is our favorite fast food choice. However this one does not measure up. The burger was wonderful as always but the staff at this location are not customer oriented. We stood at the counter several minutes waiting for someone to come take our order as several employees stood around talking to each other and glancing at us occasionally. We finally asked if there was someone taking orders and they called a girl from the back. She was not pleasant, did not seem happy at all to serve us. We will not stop at this location again.

Dirty place. Food prep does not wear gloves. Chicken cane out cold, unfriendly a dirty tables, greasy food.

On two occasions I’ve ordered the exact same thing: a pancake platter and a honey butter chicken biscuit. Both times the cashier rang up a breakfast platter instead and one time I had to discover this after I got home when it was too late to take it back before I headed off to work and the other I checked my order before leaving and they had to fix it there. The cashier who did this seemed to either be either flat out dim witted or just didn’t care because both times she didn’t offer an apology or to fix the order, someone else had to. Not only that, but she wasn’t polite at all and showed not even the slightest bit of enthusiasm for customer service. I’ll give breakfast one more shot but if this happens again I won’t be frequenting this location again. On the other hand, I’ve never had any issues with the burgers and sandwiches, those always come out right.

Usually a big fan of Whataburger, the Burger was luke warm. I felt I got someone’s left overs. Won’t be stopping again.

We rarely give our children fast food. Today my daughter’s four piece kid’s meal only had three pieces of chicken and it did not have the cookie. I was looking forward to eating that cookie. Two stars!

It’s a Whataburger. I think they’re better than Burger King and McDonald’s, but fast food burgers are after all…
We got a cheese, bacon burger and it was the same as usual.
When we arrived the place was thronged. The line was probably twenty people, but only one of the two registers was manned. So, it took us a while to reach reach the front of the line and order. In a few minutes the line had dwindled to two people so they opened the second register with only one person at each. In another few minutes it was thronged with a long line again so they went back to only one register.

We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for 25 years

Great food but very slow service. We ordered a shake and a meal and it took about 15 minutes in the drive through.

Fast, clean, friendly. This is a convenient location due to its proximity to I-​10 and gas stations.

Despite my objections to eating fast food, any time I come across a place I can’t get in NY (see: In N Out, Steak & Shake), I must go.
With billboards everywhere about their Patty Melt, Whataburger lured me in with their in your face marketing. One melt and shake later, I’m very impressed. It looked like any ‘ol McDonald’s but the patty is huge (Texas of course). The shake was thick at first but loosened up in the southern sun. They could use more flavor options a la Sonic though.
Nice place, friendly staff, only eat here once in a while unless you want to be greased into the door.

Clean location, always stop here on my way to CS.

For being on the highway and not in town you think this would be a quick stop. I sat in the drive through for 20 mins to get a biscuit and a drink. Ridiculous.
