This is definitely one of the best breakfast spots i’ve been to. everything seems very fresh, and while the prices are a little higher than i’m used to paying the quality is definitely there. the menu is a little more creative than a lot of places too, their whiskey french toast is great! good bread and the whiskey goes well with the cinnamon batter and pure maple syrup. that’s right, this place serves the good stuff, you don’t see that too often! i usually don’t like alcohol flavored foods, especially whiskey, but it works really well in this dish, the flavor isn’t too overpowering. the scrambled eggs were just ok, but the eggs were great when they put them in their breakfast sandwich. same with the bacon, when i ate it on its own it was a little tough and chewy but the texture was perfect when they put it on a sandwich, which has plenty of meat on it and it has a very good flavor. i love their home fries too. their regular ones were decent, but their cajun ones are the way to go! the pancakes are also really good, good texture and a nice fresh feel to them, they aren’t tough, they are nice and fluffy. i had a chocolate chip pumpkin muffin too and it was also very enjoyable. they also sell some very good maple syrup at good prices, i highly suggest you pick some up! I wish this place was open for lunch though, they close at noon and only serve breakfast food, but i bet they could put out some killer lunch! it’s a little small, but it’s clean and ran by some very friendly people, don’t miss out on this place!

I’m really not a breakfast person… but this place is really a goodie. If you want to avoid the douchebags«brunching» in Saratoga… this is a much better vibe. Schuylerville is 10 miles away and back to reality.

My go to comfort breakfast joint. Always clean, fresh amazing often locally sourced food. Prices are fair and food portions are perfect. What makes this place special is the atmosphere and staff. It’s perfect for bringing family, friends or reading a book and enjoying there famous Eli’s bread!

My favorite breakfast spot in the world! Great food, great atmosphere. There can be a wait, but it’s never too long. I love their French toast, waffles, homemade toast, and the Eli’s omelette. My bf enjoys the breakfast burrito. I highly recommend this place!

OMG… Eli’s Omelet is by far the best omelet I have EVER had! Mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and cheddar cheese with a hint of mustard and tarragon, and a side of homemade hash… DELICIOUS!!! I’ve never been to a diner where I had to wait in line to be seated! Now I know why! And to top it all off, the cappuccino was heavenly and the service was impeccable, even as busy as they were! Definitely a MUSTGO! :-)

Another great local place! They close early and it starts to get busy on weekends by 9am… so get there on the early side if you can. If not, don’t be discouraged by the wait — it’s worth it. I went there a few weeks ago and tried the breakfast burrito — absolutely delicious. Loved the side of potatoes as well — not over spiced and cooked just right. They have this AMAZING homemade bread that I ordered as a side of toast. It’s dense, thick-cut and slightly sweet… I bought a loaf on my way out. That bread didn’t last long once it got home… Coffee was good, the staff is friendly and it’s very reasonably priced. If I remember correctly, they use mostly(if not all) locally-sourced and organic ingredients. Thankful to the«word of mouth» recommendation that sent me there.

What a charming little café! Located in «downtown Schuylerville» you might never think to venture here if you don’t live in Schuylerville, but it’s well worth a bit of a drive. Staff is friendly, they have outdoor seating and cheap well portioned eats! The menu isn’t all that different than any other breakfast place, but the food certainly tells a different story than your average diner. Get the breakfast burrito, you won’t regret it.

I rented a cabin in the area with eight other people and found this place for breakfast with Unilocal. We had such an enjoyable experience the first day that we went back the very next day and most of us ordered the exact same thing! They seated our group of nine promptly and gave us fantastic service! The place is family run, very friendly, and very cozy. While all the food was delicious, two items stood out in particular; their sausage is from a local farm and they make one of their breads in-house. I do not recommend leaving this place without trying both of these items. I will definitely be back next time I am near Saratoga/Schuylerville!

I’ve only been here once, but everything I tried was *delicious*!! The pancakes rival my own. Seriously, I make awesome pancakes, and these are better. I’m always wary on the sausage vs. bacon choice when trying a new place — in this case I went with sausage and was super surprised to get a huge, tasty, legitimate sausage link. I ordered eggs over-easy, and they were actually over-easy — I mean 100% perfect — which is such a rarity. They were fairly busy for Wed. afternoon which is no surprise, since I’ve only heard great things about the place from locals. Oh AND they have free WiFi, so I can totally work there(except it was down when I went, but no big deal). I’ve also heard great things about their messy eggs and multiple other items, so I’m going to have to try the whole menu. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback for me is that they close at noon.

Everything here is delicious and fresh. It does get busy but we’ve been lucky and never really had to wait. If you’re vegetarian I would skip the homefries/potatoes… I think they taste bacon-y. Otherwise, this is a fantastic breakfast place. I only wish they were open later!

A great diner – my personal favorite. Always busy on the weekends, my only complaint would be that it’s only open until noon! The food is well prepared, the staff friendly, and the portions are perfect. I’d definitely suggest checking it out, in the least. Their specialty omelets are the best.
