Riva is the best pizza I’ve had on the south shore. We order once a week. Thinner crust and fresh delicious toppings. Love it!

The last time I will get pizza here. Product is not bad, but they are not truthful about wait times and leave you hanging around for 30 – 45 minutes. Many angry faces waiting and waiting. I was told a 40 minute wait, showed up 45 minutes later, paid and was told just a few minutes and a half hour later got my pizzas, and one of two was slightly burned. I asked for wait time when I ordered because I didn’t want to wait an hour and a half, but they know if they told the truth I’d have gone elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks.

This place has great pizza. I always get the fig with balsamic and it is delicious. My biggest complaint(and I don’t know the rules on this) is that I just went in while they were finishing my pizza and saw the girl ripping the prosciutto with her bare hands to put in my pizza. She then came to the register and handled my money bare handed. That really skeeves me out. Pretty much ruined the pizza for me. So, though they have great pizza, and may do this at other places… From now on I’ll probably go somewhere I don’t actually see them doing it. Gross!

had my first calzone meatball and cheese. The calzone was over loaded with cheese, meatballs ah, ok at best. I will give them another try, ordering pizza.

Love Riva pizza. We get it every Friday night and it never fails. We love getting a cheese pizza with chicken cutlet, the white pizza with figs and prosciutto, or a cheese pizza with their ricotta cheese. The salads and sandwiches are also fantastic. One of the best meatball subs around!

I love Riva Pizza. I’ve only ever done takeout or delivery but everyone I’ve dealt with on the phone has always been friendly and efficient. The delivery people couldn’t be nicer too and are ways well ahead of the estimated arrival time. I actually can’t recall a time I waited more than 20 minutes. I like a thinner crust so Riva pizza is right up my alley. The cheese is always melty(but not greasy) and they use just the right amount of sauce. My favorite is the mushroom, although they used to add a ton of mushrooms and now it’s more of an average-slightly below average amount. I wish they would go back to putting more on and then I’d probably raise my review to 5 stars! The salads are delicious but overpriced so I order them sparingly. The reasonable price for a high quality pizza evens that out though in my opinion.

Ordered a Calzone and salad on takeout, both very tasty. The young girl at the counter was a bit rude when we picked up and it took a while to make but the food made up for it.

Riva Pizza is amazing – best thing on the menu hands down is the Capri sandwich. Everytime I am in Scituate I go and get one – it is seriously to die for. All the sandwiches are amazing, but I loooove the aioli and thin cut crispy eggplant in the Capri! Edit: things have gone downhill since I first wrote this post – The capri is still the best sandwich ever, but not when the eggplant is burnt and inedible. This has happened multiple times now and because the quality is unreliable we don’t order so much from them anymore…

You want Calzone — look no further !!! wonderful flavor, the cheese inside melted perfectly, blended with the fantastic meats — I cut it into smaller pieces and served it at a party for an hor’d — was a huge hit. The pizza is superior, the crust is great, more thin crust, great combinations. Service was wonderful, I often have it delivered — very nice guy, very polite. I give it a WooHoo !!! This is our go to Pizza, Calzone, sandwich place.

Disappointed. Was hoping for thin crust… Not really. It was between papa Gino’s and skating rink pizza. Won’t go again.

Read the reviews and I know that some people only write negative reviews. I am a pizza freak, I’d eat pizza daily. I LOVED this PIZZA. Had the meatball& pepperoni. The thin crust was AWESOME. The service was great. The only down side is I live too far away to have it weekly. I will get it again, when I’m in the area

As others have said, very good sandwiches and pretty good pizza. Service is about as bad as they come. Better to consider other options.

We have been twice in 2 weeks and found both experiences to be amazing. Pizza combinations were awesome, quality ingredients and fabulous crust. I also heard bad things about the service but luckily we have yet to encounter those less than stellar employees. Talking with other Scituate residents I do know that the owner has made an effort to turn the service around. I will definitely be back again.

Great pizza TERRIBLETERRIBLE service Don’t know how to run a business. Good help should be easy to find but the owner just doesn’t care.

If you’re looking for the best meatball sub anywhere, this is the place. The meatballs are made daily and the sauce is tasty with a little kick, exceptional. The small is large and the large is, well get the large. We also have become pizza regulars since new owner– Matt Story took over. We’ve tried several, love them all with the traditional cheese pie or the meatball pizza being personal favorites. Call ahead and everything is ready when you arrive. Riva Pizza just opened another shop near the library in Marshfield and has another location in Hull. Check them out.

The pizzas are very good. They have some tasty, unique combinations. I’ve ordered from them several times. When they get the order right and deliver on time(or deliver at all), the pies are good. However, the repeated order accuracy and delivery issues force me to with just one star and to keep looking for great pizza delivery on the south shore.

Decent pizza with a high price tag. Mediocre to poor service at best. Have ordered from here a couple times because of its proximity. Very hard to get through on the phone and have called around six on a Friday and had no one pick up. Really? The bottom line: if your desperate and Riva is close ok go for it. You are better off going somewhere else. Still struggling to find good pizza delivery in Scituate!

I really liked Riva pizza under the old management, now I love it. My number one complaint of the old menu was that their pizzas could get a little dry, particularly the white pizzas. Not true of Riva today. Definitely the best pizza on the south shore.

Best pizza on the South Shore! I’ve never waited more then the standard 20 – 30 min, I always pick up tho. The Monopoli pizza, a chicken caesar salad with an orange San Peligrino is my usual fare. Their subs have always been great too, especially the steak tip one(the name forgets me).
