I give this gym 4 stars because its 24⁄7 and free. Can’t complain too much if you don’t have to pay… The best time to go is at night otherwise its pretty crowded after everyone gets off work, before work, and mid day. I like that they have a separate aerobic room I can use mats and some weights in without being out in the open. They have a decent size locker room for women and a coed sauna if that’s your thing. They do have an indoor running track upstairs, but its small so I usually can’t do more then 3 miles on it without going crazy. Their equipment is pretty updated and they have a large open strength training area. It’s a good place to get the job done and leave.

Best time to go here is either mid day or later after 7, love that its 24⁄7 now! and its not that bad of a gym, don’t plan on using the upstairs running track unless you want to do a million circles to get your miles in, you can’t really open up your stride which is a bummer. but then again i haven’t seen a gym around this area that has a nice big indoor track or at least something of greater size so you really can’t complain much. at least they have one. They have a coed sauna and little exercise side rooms that are not that great, and usually there is someone trying to say they have a «class» going on and you need to get out. that it would overfill to capacity of fire code or something! :( The staff will help if you ask but if your not looking for them they don’t seem to ever see you. so I really don’t know the workers there like i usually end up knowing at the other gyms I frequent. This is a pretty much get in, bust your butt, and get out gym, PERIOD

It’s WAY too small and running on that track is downright painful. If there are more than like 5 people on the track, it feels like I’m running on an obstacle course rather than an indoor track. I will say the HAWC Fitness Center is cleaner than James Gym — but that’s about it.
