Subway

Food was always very good service was always very fast and very friendly. Good selection and good specials

We have been to this location more than once and every time the employees are rude. I have tried the new flat bread twice and both times it was so stale that I ate just the toppings. Could not bite through the flat bread.

Unless you’re extremely patient and like to wait about 20 minutes for a Subway sandwich, avoid this place between 11:30 — 12:30 Monday — Friday! This Subway is close to Scott Air Force Base and the mad lunch rush that tries to eat healthy hits this Subway between these times.
Also, be aware that there must be some sort of strange «group purchase» ideology that exists at Scott Air Force base. Twice, I’ve had to wait about 10 minutes for someone in front of me, obviously on a lunch run for a group, to pay individually for each sandwich. This was bizarre at first, then quickly became annoying.
Apparently, rather than order your group of eight’s sandwiches and pay with a single credit card, it’s appropriate to pay for each of the eight sandwiches with the bills or combination of bills provided to the «lunch run person» by the people that placed the orders. I once witnessed a woman place 9 orders, then paid 9 times, AND put the exact change from each order into the sandwich bag… I thought this exchange would go on forever.
The only reason I go to this Subway is because it is close to where I work. Also, for those of you that try to eat healthy, keep in mind that Subway uses High Fructose Corn Syrup in a lot of their breads, including the «9 Grain Wheat». I just found this out not too long ago.

Overall, this Subway, if you avoid the crazy lunch rush, is like any other Subway. I’ve never received bad service here and the staff seems fairly pleasant. They don’t even seem to get pissed at me when I order a Veggie on Flatbread with Everything! There were literally so many veggies on my sandwich today that the dude had trouble folding it closed!
