Worst Chinese food I ever have had. The chow mien was pasty and had no flavor. Both the beef and broccoli in the Broccoli Beef dish were extremely soggy. The sweet and sour chicken was okay, but only contained the breaded chicken and sauce. Very bland food with limited ingredients. I definitely will not be returning.

I don’t like to make my problems other people’s problems, but this business took advantage of my disabled, elderly mother. The woman was very uncooperative when I came to address her overcharging my mother and made offensive comments about me to the other worker(in Chinese, which was my major in college). Also, the food looked too unappetizing to eat…

I remember coming here when Tim was behind Tim’s Express. The kids from around the corner would come for their rice with sweet & sour sauce over rice. A small little place that made to go Chinese food. It has been a few years now.

Picked from pre-made lunch items. Not much to choose from and cold. Have egg rolls on menu but said we had to order them on side. Fried rice is made in steamer and not fried at all.

So surprised at the legit wonton soup serving! Fresh wonton, lots of green book Chou, and clean tasty broth. Just what the Dr. Ordered for a nasty head cold.

Hands down the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. They’re made on site and they full of fresh cooked veggies and have a hint of curry spice.

OK, well two stars plus one crab nebula Tim’s is a very nice, independently owned restaurant and you can tell these folks are hard workers. The price is right. The interior just has two long tables. It’s small but still kinda fun. They have a vegetarian option on their lunch buffet, Eggplant & Tofu specifically, but that’s about it. The biggest problem with this restaurant is that they have yet to offer vegan mock meat proteins. Those products from Gardein, Beyond Meat, Yves & Tofurkey are available in bulk from restaurant suppliers. It’s cruelty free and gives the eaters as much protein as their meat counterparts. it’d be easy for the restaurant to get the new ingredients as well. Vegan Vegi-protein crumbles are similarly easy to find. In fact, Sweet Earth Foods( ) right here on the Central Coast has everything a restaurant needs to include compassionate choices on the menu. Places like Felton Chinese Food & Chopstix(also in Felton) offer vegan Chinese food currently. In case the business owner/manager reads this review I’ve supplied a link to a resource that explains exactly how to get these veggie protein bits: The full list of restaurant suppliers starts on page 17 here: Anyway, I’d love to eat here more often because I work walking distance from this suite. Instead, I have to drive 10 miles to Felton to get vegan-friendly protein. Please let them know they should get on board with the other restaurants in the area.

I love this place. The owners/operators are extremely nice and accommodating. The food is always fresh and delicious. Lunch Specials under $ 7. They even have a 10-punch reward card system that get’s customers free food and drinks! Who doesn’t love American-Chinese food?

A mom and pops place. Best Chinese in SV. I had their special, wonton soup. It was awesome.

We came here for the first time today and where very surprised to see that they have premade dishes like Panda Express does that you can pick from to go. The food was the same price as Panda Express but a lot better quality. Nice little place for Scotts valley

I remember this place years ago and it was good back then, Fast forward 13 years and it was awful. I threw have of my lunch out. Not fresh, I also asked if there was msg and she said only in the soy sauce. Well it was more than that. Also the sweet and sour didnt taste right. I will not be back. Too bad as I work in the same shopping center. Go drive to Capitola to Canton! The freshest I have had in years.

The food is mediocre at best and the customer service is worse. I guess that’s what fast food looks like though.

Old greasy/soggy Chinese food from a buffet tray. Only good thing on the menu is the hot and sour soup and the crab puffs. Avoid this place — you’ve been warned! I didn’t listen to previous bad reviews… I should have!

My favorite place to come. I always get the chow mein, kung pao chicken, and peppered beef. I honestly love this food, not sure why some of these reviews are so low. You get great portions of food, mine usually last two days for lunch. Great service also.

Tried this place last week and was nervous considering the previous reviews. Thing is the food was not slimy at all… When I came inside I asked if I could try a sample of the meat and was given a fair sized sample. Just by the taste I could confirm a lack in ‘traditional chinese’ seasoning but also could taste it was warm, juicy and prepared acceptably. I ordered fried rice with chicken an some egg rolls… Mixing the chicken and rice created the right amount of seasoning I desired and overall I would give the two items a solid B+. This is mainly due to the lack of seasoning. The egg rolls I was not impressed with though. While the texture was agreeable the contents inside felt — lacking not only in seasoning but flavor too… a D+ in my book. In the end… I would go back and armed with my first experience… just skip the egg rolls… maybe it was a bad batch?

I’ve been going here since I was a kid, and same for my husband. The service is great, always friendly and happy to make something fresh & custom if you want. My family prioritizes supporting family –owned and-operated establishments, and this is the best example of one we know! They are a very hardworking family who always provide consistently great Chinese food.

The food is beyond slimy. I’ll go to Panda Express before this place, and that’s saying something. The food has no taste and everything is covered in a thick slime. Save yourself the disgust.

Tasteless. A disgrace to Chinese delicacy. I wish they would put more effort on cooking.

Of the Chinese restaurants in Scott’s Valley this is the one I frequent the most. Tim and Shirley, are just beyond nice. Even if I’m not stopping by for lunch or dinner I will give them a quick wave while walking by. For those that may be familiar with the comparison I’m about to draw, this could closely be described as «a two-person small business version of Panda Express or Mr. Chaus». If you like that style of Chinese fast food, I think you will absolutely find something to like. You will probably also find that something to crave now and then. There is a slightly coconut flavor that comes through on their fried chicken. Love it.
