Bally Total Fitness

All I can do is second the comments of all these reviewers. This Bally’s is depressing. I went in and there was no attendant at the desk. It was my first time there and I didn’t know what to do, i just stood there waiting, until a woman on a nearby machine told me to go on ahead… she turned out to be an employee. rad.
The weight machines are old but my biggest complaint is CLEANLINESS. I went up to the front to ask about a hand towel, because I didn’t see any around the gym, and was told i would have to buy one. Look, I get that Bally’s doesn’t want to be doing laundry all day every day but ultimately it would be better for their business. I got on an elliptical and the handlebars felt greasy and disgusting; almost no one brings in their own towel and absolutely no one is wiping down the machine they just finished using. COME ON. I felt so dirty and i had no way to wipe away my own sweat and i couldn’t find any paper towels and spray over at the circuit machines or free weights.
Nasty.

After contacting Bally’s corporate about the hideous condition of this club in April I get a call a couple nights ago from the regional V.P. She asks me if I’ve seen any improvement in the club since filing my «complaint»
The answer was a resounding NO! I had been in the club the previous two days, both times first thing in the morning. Both days the trash containers were overflowing, the front door was covered in fingerrpints as were the mirrors. It’s not like they cleaned it either day. GROSS. In addition the equipment is and always has been FILTHY.
My best recommendation is to stay as far away from this place as possible! They need to gut the place and start over again. It’s disgusting!
