The staff at this location are great. Service is quick even with long lines. Only issue I have is this location more than any other around it always seems to be out of that one ingredient you would want, be it pico de gallo, pork, lettuce, guac etc. Otherwise honestly friendly staff, always clean and they are quick even with long lines.

So far I have been here 3 times. Always in and out for me. No long lines, and staff had been friendly.

I love Chipotle in general. I hate their anti-GMO stance and their inability to prevent horrible outbreaks of terrible diseases, but that risk is MINIMAL. Go ahead and take that as a given in all of my Chipotle reviews. I’m reviewing each of these Chipotles independently. Since the Old Town location screwed up our faxed lunch orders so much, I was very happy when this location opened up. I RARELY had them screw up a fax order(although maybe 20% of the time, it would happen, which was not nearly as significant as the other location). They are a very friendly staff over here. They don’t have as many fax issues as the Old Town location, but there were a few times when I didn’t confirm my fax order immediately, and this ran into me sitting around while they finished the order. Decent portions, though I wouldn’t say generous as PV mall or some in Seattle. Parking lot is a bit of a deathtrap, but hey, it’s Scottsdale. Overall though, good experience.

WARNING: This is the worst chipotle ever. I went in tonight at 9:30pm. The smell was repulsive. I should have taken it as a sign and gone else where. I should also mention that right before he toasted my tortilla he used another tortilla to wipe off the press. Once again, that should have made me rethink my decision. Instead, since I was very hungry, I decided to get my normal order to go. I live within ¼ mile. When I opened my bowl, EVERYTHING inside was completely cold, honestly frigid including the chicken and rice(mind you, I had barely any sour cream or cheese). I have been other times and disliked my meal but this was the worst. It was inedible. I just find myself questioning how this specific store can ruin something that I like so much and eat so frequently. Do not eat here. Go to the 101 on indian bend. Their staff is great. Their food is 10x better.

This is hands down the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been too. A couple weeks ago, I got a burrito and it was the worst. It was more of like the size of an enchilada rather than a burrito. It also fell apart immediately upon grabbing it out of the foil, which I attribute to the stale tortilla that was used. And then comes today. I walked in and politely said«I have been here many times before and haven’t had any issues» and explained my last experience. Their response was«oh we have an inexperienced person wrapping them» and didn’t apologize or anything. The girl adding the food was extremely careless. The scoop of steak was laughable(had to ask for extra sauce). Then extremely carelessly threw my salsa and cheese on there. I was so dumbfounded I ignored the manager and cashier paid and got the hell out of there. UN believable. And then guess what. I had the same falling apart stale burrito.

Worst location in the state… food is always cold and double meat here is a single serving at any other location… staff is rude Id advise people go to the tempe market location!

I love Chipotle, but this Chipotle manages to be consistently bad. Food quality is sub-par. For a while, they somehow managed to have defective bowls that would break due to moisture saturation by the time I got the food home(which is all of 2 minutes away). And speaking of to-go orders, this is the only location I have been to where they utterly refuse to make your online order until you go to the pick-up area. This usually means at least a 5 minute wait while they make your burrito right alongside whoever came in the door last. At which point the cashier may or may not try to buy off your irritation with a free soda, which never quite does the trick.

This is a serious matter that needs to be addressed. I’ve had my fair share of chipotle, and this one by far is the most stingiest. Us Fat ass American’s love chipotle, for the taste and most importantly, the unnecessary portions! This location doesn’t like to meet that criteria… It saddens me deeply to receive a burrito, or burrito bowl with a couple of pieces of meat. This happens every time I go to this location… You guys need to step up your damn game.

This Chipotle is the worst. All the workers have attitude and sometimes argue with each other in front of customers. They’re always running low on ingredients and everything is old because they’re too lazy to cook more than the bare minimum. Also their exterior sign doesn’t even work. You guys suck :)

I am probably one of the most consistent chipotle customers over the past 10 years, and I have given this location plenty of chances to prove me that it was just a «bad» day when I went there. But I was wrong. Nope, I’ve now tried this location 4 total times in the past 2 months and they not only have been out of something such as mild salsa, guacamole, etc, but also have served me with beyond sub-par ingredients and clear new-hires making my burrito which is very frustrating. Tonight for example, the woman making my burrito burn my the tortilla 3 times while also managing to burn some of the plastic casing that the tortillas are packaged in. I cannot stress enough that I will never be returning to this particular location and would not recommend it to anyone. Trust me, it’s worth the extra time to find an alternative location.

This is by far the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to(I’ve been to a lot of them) and after 5 consistently terrible experiences I’m never going again. The quality of the food is noticeably way way lower than other Chipotle’s in the area and the staff is genuinely miserable to deal with. A lot of them are clearly new hires, I get it, but the whole squad just straight up lacks the confidence to put together a solid product. I’ve never seen such timid scoops in my life and after asking for extra lettuce 4 times I finally realized that the girl behind the counter just didn’t have it in her. I asked for double steak and maybe got half of what I would at any other Chipotle, the rest of the assembly line was equally as disappointing. I get to end of the line and I feel a small sense of relief knowing that this disappointing experience is almost over, only to have the girl at the cash register ask me if I really needed the top to my burrito bowl(after it was already attached). Yes I do, that’s why I asked for it at the beginning of this whole debacle. Like seriously at this point what are you going to do? Are you going to take the time to pry off the tin lid and pour the contents of my poor excuse for a burrito bowl into a brown paper bag so I can go home and just pour it into my mouth? Or are you going to just dump it out onto the floor so we can both take turns stepping on it? Am I just supposed to hold it upright in my lap as I drive home? Like honestly what kind of question is that? Yes I need the lid. To add insult to injury, the steak was super chewy and I ended up chewing on big pieces of fat three different times. As I sit here writing this I’m genuinely pissed off that whatever the hell I just ate is in my stomach. I’m considering throwing it up just based on principle.

I go to this location because it is two minutes from where I live, but I think I’ll be going to either the Tempe marketplace or other Scottsdale Road location from now on. The service is always sooo slow here. I get that its a busy place, but watching the employees, I can see they aren’t really trying to move things along. Last time I got home to find out that my boyfriends burrito was ice cold. He made me feel the chicken and it was seriously freezing. I had to drive back and the girl stirred the chicken around and measured the temp in front of me. She claimed the sour cream must have cooled his chicken. I think they must have just put a new batch in before I came back. Today, they didn’t seal my bowl for the to go food, and when I picked it up getting out of my car, the juice from the pinto beans poured all over my lap from the bottom of the bag. Also, I understand that they do call ahead/online orders, but they clearly aren’t organized about it. When I finally got to the front of the line, the employee asked me to wait as they prepared a web order. I watched two of them take about 5 minutes to make 4 bowls together. And the guy picking up the order had been there since before I got there, so obviously ordering ahead didn’t do much for him. This location continues to disappoint.

Food quality is good but the lady behind the counter screamed at every person who came through. «WHATCAN I GETFORYOU! «is not a pleasant way too greet customers. Also the lady giving out drink cups put her fingers down inside my cup and didn’t understand why I asked for a new one.

My nieces love Chipotle. I’ve tried it 2 times and have been dissatisfied both times. This time there: The chicken was slimy and everything was cold. The kid at the front said they were out of rice but never even checked on a new batch, just looked down, realized there was none in the pan and said they were out. I chose brown rice, took 2 steps forward and someone brought rice over to him. I asked for a side of that rice and they gave me a side of fresh rice no problem… but it was sticky and cold. There’s probably 10 teenagers working there with no actual adult in sight at their busiest time.

Last time I went here earlier this year I didn’t get a warm feeling from the server. The product tasted decent. I haven’t been back to any chipotle since then.

2nd to the worst location I’ve ever been to and I eat Chipotle often. Portions are chinsy, they’re always out of something and no matter how busy it is or not there is always a line.

The lady taking our orders was pretty rude, but that’s whatever she could have bad a bad day. But the guacamole was almost this reddish brown all the way through, and the rice was in balls and the meat was pretty much uncooked. We got it to go so we didn’t know until we were home, but it was pretty disappointing haha. There was a worker with a nice hair cut so that made the eh food okay :)

Stopped off at this new Chipotle location last night before picking up Little C from daycare. From the outside, you’d never know that this location is open for business. Unlike Smashburger next door, they do not have a sign along Scottsdale Rd stating they’re «Now Open». Standard Chipotle fare. All of the workers seem very enthusiastic to be working there. And were very friendly. I’ll more than likely return to this location as it is easier to grab and go(if we’re not cooking dinner) before picking up Little C than going to the 44th/Thomas location after picking him up.
