One of the best spots for tacos and margaritas, or a low key spot to grab a beer. I haven’t heard of this location closing, I spent Halloween here — great times, as always.

Great tacos, had both types. Heaping goodness, very flavourful, nice bite. Very relaxing atmosphere. OK for an afternoon cigar as well. Service was great.

My friends and I come here quite often. It’s always a pleasant experience. They have amazing food, delicious drinks, great service, and friendly and fun bartenders that keep us coming back for more. Prices are reasonable especially for the area. We usually like to pre party here but it’s a great way to end the night also. I am a huge Dos Gringos fan and will always be.

Just an AZ classic. Great tacos, lots of drinks, and a remarkably tacky atmosphere. Gets fratty Thurs-Sat but hey, what can you expect in PHX?

This place SUCKS!!! Overcharges like no other and won’t give you itemized receipts. Don’t effing go here. They lie about when you cash out and sign for your receipts and over charge a lot. Between two trips here within three days I got cheated out of $ 20 from improper receipts and bills. This place is NOT the cheap place to drink in Scottsdale. EFFTHISPLACE!!!

I used to love coming in late and finishing my night in old town here because they have bomb food and great drink specials. Not to mention their awesome staff! But now I have to go to loco patron(which I hate) because it’s the only place to get late night Mexican food. I don’t know who the genius is who closed the kitchen but they did a great job of running off the majority of their business.

You can’t beat chips and salsa and a cold beer. I’d recommend their nachos too! Fernanda is one of their sweetest servers and is always attentive!

This place is always good. The food is fairly cheap and tasty, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is decent. This is a bar first and foremost so don’t expect traditional«sit down» service, but this is what makes this place great if you ask me. Keep the drinks and food coming! Highly recommended for a quick flavorful lunch or dinner stop with friends or even alone!

I went here for my Bday this year and I had their street tacos! Which I fell in love with! Plus if I remember correctly they were on special so made them that more amazing! I also love that they have bags! The service is amazing and I can’t wait to go back soon! Def one of my old town spots!

I’ve been to the Chandler location a few times for lunch and I really enjoyed it. Chips and Salsa were good, food was good and my iced tea was good. I was disappointed with the Scottsdale location. The food wasn’t as good, my tacos were bland(I poured all of my salsa on them for flavor.) My margarita tasted like dish soap(I only drank a ¼ of it and no one asked why I wasn’t drinking it) My iced tea was thick and seemed like it was week old iced tea, I didn’t drink it and no one bothered to ask why I my drinks were still full. I feel like I threw away money by going there. I won’t be going back. But if you like a loud atmosphere and watered down drinks then that might be the place for you.

The food and margaritas are really good and very cheap. In terms of seating, you can choose a lots of sun or cool shade. Service used to be pretty bad(servers acted annoyed by kids), but it’s much better now. I bring all of my visitors here.

How am I the duchess and haven’t written a full review yet??? Dos Gringos is my total go-to for happy hours and nights out. Mini chimis are absolutely delicious and frequent beer specials. It’s my #1 spot for day drinking, which they proudly advertise! I’ve spent New Years Eve here two years in a row, my 30th birthday, AND even the start to my bachelorette party! As I said, it’s one of my favorites in Scottsdale.

Dos Gringos is a nice option for outdoor seating drinks with friends but they need to step up their game. Almost half of the outdoor heaters are broken, there isn’t great light and it just kind of feels dirty. The only server walking around seemed to be the Jello Shot girl. That being said, we went and had a nice time thanks to the great service of Tyler and choice mixes from the onsite dj. Opening up the floor to dancing or having a karaōke night would set this place apart. There’s a lot of space there that could be used for some good times.

I’ve had pretty mixed experiences at Dos Gringos… on the one hand, their drinks are always stiff and cheap, which is a big win in my book. On the other, the place is always empty, and if you’re ordering food, the service in the kitchen is severely lacking. The place is so big that without a lot of patrons, it feels like you need to bring a group to have any fun. If you’re just one or two people looking to hang out with new folks, you’re going to find yourself sitting alone at the bar. When you can get food, it’s actually pretty good. The pork chile nachos are my favorite, so you can imagine how sad I was staring at them, from my table, sitting in the kitchen window for 10 minutes before they were finally brought to my table last night! When it comes to Mexican food, there are a lot of great places in Phoenix, and honestly, I just don’t see waiting that long to be served in a place with very few customers when there are so many other options…(For the record, I also watched other food sit in the window for similar amounts of time. I have been a waitress before, and I understand it being hard to run food when the place is slammed, but it was pretty empty, and there were idle servers.) Bottom line: If you’re going with a big group for drinks, it’s a good place. If you’re going for food or with just a few people, don’t expect it to be packed, fast or much of a party.

We were walking around town and decided to stop here for a drink. It was the loud music that attracted us here. It was actually a live DJ with a drummer playing decent music. The outside patio was kind of dead, so after our $ 3 well drink, we decided to move on(yes, $ 3!!! amazing!)

Dos has lost a lot of its appeal from years back. It used to be the day drinking capitol of the world but now there’s hardly anyone there during weekend days. It’s got that Rocky Point vibe which is supposed to be dirty and a little run down but I think they’re taking that a bit far. It doesn’t look like it’s been renovated in decades. Corona’s used to be $ 2 anytime which made it our starting spot but they have since gone up as well. I think they’re up to $ 3 which is pretty much the same thing so no big deal. I think the shift away from Craftsman Court and the west side of Scottsdale road to other more popular streets is what has made the crowds disappear, not necessarily any huge thing they’re doing wrong here.

Have always liked this location, probably because it is never crowded and the tacos are also really good and cheap. You can score 2 tacos for three bucks here, either on corn(which are smaller) or flour(which have more meat). The staff is pretty cool here as well and one guy made us this great shot with fireball and Kahlua called a Cinnamon toast and we got a 2 for 1 deal. They also have plenty of TV’s inside and a few outside bars on the patio. Pretty relaxed crowd and the only time I ever saw it packed was on New Year’s. Chips and salsa are 1 buck, but that is probably going to normal soon in most places. UPDATE: Tried a $ 10 Chicken Burro to go and this is a Great deal. The thing is loaded with chicken, beans and rice and it comes with more rice and beans and some quality guacamole. It was great to mop up the alcohol and also would be great anytime. They also raffle off a jersey on Monday night of both teams. It was my night.

This place is definitely a party place. The bar area was pretty busy for it only being 5:30pm or so when i was there. We only stopped in for appetizer’s so that is all i can rate on at this point. It was loud, the service was okay, and the food was just okay. I had planned on ordering a couple items but started with just the crispy tacos. I wasn’t blown away so we stopped while we were ahead. The crispy tacos: the shredded beef was alright the avocado salsa saved the little tacos, without that they would have had no flavor at all. I would say try something other than the crispy tacos, i hear that the Rocky Point Nachos are good so maybe give them a go. All-in-all my experience here was okay, not great, not horrible just okay.

I haven’t tried the food– but the people that work here are so friendly so if you’re visiting the area, this is a great spot to stop by at! We brought in our Spring Training ticket after the game and received an offer for 1 dollar Old Style beer– a great deal. The security guard inside was working as like a host, asking if we wanted anything, and giving us huge smiles. A lot of people were walking in and getting tables immediately.

Maybe I’m a bit bias due to my Oregon Ducks backing, but like all Duck fans, I just don’t give a shit. Unreal, and I mean unreal service… We were at the same table all night and must have had 5 separate waiters/waitresses check on us. Great Margaritas and Bloodies, the best Chicken Wings in Scottsdale and a crazy bar menu. The College Football bar specials on Saturdays are off the charts, especially if you«Love My Ducks.» Great bar, great food, unreal service.-

Warning, there are usually drunk people here… and 30 minutes after I get here, I am usually one of them. I love Sunday Fun-day on the patio at Dos; always a great friendly vibe from the patrons and staff. DO drink the FROZEN margarita. I am normally not a fan of frozen margaritas, but they are very good here! Also, I always eat their tater tots, but that probably has something to do with the drunk factor not culinary expertise. There is this bartender, who is outstanding, but of course I don’t know his name. So that was basically a rather useless tidbit of information. All I know is when I go to Dos he seems to be in tune with my salivary glands, because right when my drink is empty he gives me the nod to signal the next one is on the way.
