Eat, Drink, Shop and Get Married All in one store! This is a fantastic and unique little sex shop in downtown Scottsdale. You’ll definitely want to leave your inhibitions at the door. They sell sex toys and the owner and employees are very knowledgeable about them. They also sell lingere and swimsuits, books, condoms, lubes, costumes, and accessories. Half the store seems to be taken up by black t-shirts, tank tops, and panties with somewhat funny sayings on them. Apparently you can get married here if you so desire — very much like something you might find in Vegas. Perhaps if more people knew about this, we might have even more drunk Scottsdale marriages needing to end in divorce. You can also rent out the back room as a honeymoon and party suite where you can get sauced and hump. The owner is very cool and fun to talk to. I could tell last night that she’s getting pretty tired of the whole thing, but I blame the foot traffic she gets since she’s next to Dos Gringos and across the street from Upper Deck. I would get tired of seeing those people too. I hope things pick up there… I urge you to check it out because it might not be there forever. She’s toying with the idea of leasing out the space and either moving the store or closing it for good. Prices are a tad high and some of the nightclub clothes they carry are very much Vegas and too lame to actually buy and wear. I think they could also carry a bit more of a variety of stuff given the place is so big. Aside from that, it’s totally worth a visit. Last night when I was there with my friend and my girlfriend, my friend kept yawning and wanted to move on to the next thing and the owner kept cracking on him for it which was fun… on our way out she suggested we get him a red bull and a butt plug. Anyway — I have nothing but love for The Love Bug.
