Terrible. So booked a blow out, should seem pretty simple. Arrived and the front desk had booked my appt wrong so she only had 30min. The stylist kept trying to convince me not to have my hair washed because I wanted a little volume and wave. Well, why would I pay to have you blow dry my dirty hair. It was a bit awkward. They don’t know how to round brush to do a blow out! She back combed/teased it to get volume. What!!! I kept asking what she was doing. Well…$ 60 out the door I literally went home and rewashed my hair and did it for myself. In tears… High end location, low end style.

My mom recommended this place to me when I was trying to find a salon for a cut and color. I was skeptical about it because my wallet isn’t very full as being a college student, but I trusted her anyway. I LOVE it here. I walk in every time and I’m greeted with a smile right away. It’s very relaxing inside and I always look forward to coming back, even after the higher price– very worth it.
Brittany usually cuts my hair and she does a wonderful job and she’s so sweet. This last time she wasn’t available, so I had Hugh and he was wonderful too.

Not too sure why my review does not show up on Hydrate Salon’s Unilocal page, so I wanted to update or repost. Still a happy 5 Stars with this Salon and Hugh. Prices are normal and even less costly with comparable salons in the area. Hugh is an awesome cut and color stylist. He recommends the right color and cut for each individual.

Watch out! No refunds for their mistakes on hair color. Just a fix if you trust them to re-do it. Manager is clueless on how to run a business and has no understanding that the customer is always right. Save your time and money. Just took a $ 230 loss for a messed up highlight job as well as going elsewhere to get this brassy mess fixed. I will never step foot in that place again for anything after the customer service (or lack of) I received. RUDE!

Tanya addressed my concerns, and created a style for me that was perfect! I also have to mention how amazing my color was. Needless to say, I’m happy my search for a stylist is over!

I love this salon & the team of stylists & staff. I visit them every other week and every client I have seen walk through the door is treated with kindness & great service.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET EXTENSIONS, THIS IS 100% HANDS DOWN THE PLACE TO GO. They are professionally certified to use an amazing extension system that is non-damaging to your hair when you have them removed. You can not feel them on your head when you touch your hair.

Unfortunately I’m no longer able to see Lindsey regularly as I moved to San Diego… although I still stop by on occasion when I’m in town.

I visited Hyadrate after buying a groupon for a facial. It is a beautiful salon with very attentive staff. The facial itself was very nice and relaxing. However, the groupon stated a choice in the facial provided and I was never given a choice. I’m not even sure which facial I had, but my skin has been breaking out worse than ever since.
