Par Exsalonce

Went here on a whim because my pixie was getting out of control. I’m traveling so I read other Unilocal reviews before calling to make an appointment. To my surprise, they were able to get me in with Amber the same day that I called. I’ve gotten a little picky about my hair over the years and Amber was super receptive to what I wanted and I’m so happy with my cut. We had great conversation too! I’d highly recommend her! If I find myself in Scottsdale needing a cut or clean-​up, I’ll definitely be making an appointment with her.

I really like this salon. Jen does my hair every time. She does my color and cut. She does great layering on long hair. I really enjoy my appointments with her. She is really good at what she does and I trust her. She listens and does exactly what I want, not what she wants. I have not had any other services there. Overall I really like this salon.

I always have a hard time finding a salon I really enjoy but I love Par Exsalonce! I saw Christine for a cut and style, she was wonderful. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I didn’t feel like another body in a chair, they really make you feel welcome. I can’t wait to return! Oh, and I love my new hair :)

I absolutely adore this place. I’ve gone to Staci for years and receive compliments even when my highlights have grown out after awhile because it blends so beautifully. Same goes for Jenn B., I just love her too! These ladies sure know how to make you feel relaxed and lovely by perfectly replicating the latest styles or anything you wish with ease. I trust them to do whatever they want and love it every time. Styling is truly effortless. I also won’t let anyone other than Victoria near my eyebrows — my goodness does seeing her make me feel like a new woman! She is a true artist. Donna, the owner, is an absolute doll and so very professional. All of the front desk whether new or those who have been there for awhile always recognize my voice over the phone, check me in when they see me, and are so friendly. So grateful I found this place! Always uplifting to come in. Will be a lifer :)

I’ve been on the hunt for a non-​quickie nail salon ever since I’ve moved to Phoenix and I’ve finally found it! I had such a great time chatting with the ladies who made me feel right at home. The nail salon inside the salon itself is nice and quiet and everyone I dealt with was incredible and my nails look perfect! Can’t wait to go back :) Thanks again!

I loved my first experience going here! Jenn B. is amazing at what she does, definitely recommend her for all things hair :) the only complaint towards the establishment would be a miscommunication in price for my session. I had been told a significantly lower rate than what was given, hopefully next time things will be clearer! Make sure you ask carefully about how they charge!

The salon is in a beautiful, convenient area (for me anyway, as it’s near, both, my office and home).
It was my first visit and Kama was a delight. Great conversationalist and wow, I was so impressed with my cut! Since moving to Phoenix, I’ve had a hard time finding someone that knows how to do a good blow out after my cut and for the first time, I wasn’t disappointed!
The only thing I missed was being offered a coffee. or a mimosa. maybe even a water? But really, I won’t let that ruin it for me. I’ll definitely be going back and referring friends!

I’ve been going to Jenn B. For almost 2 years now and she is the absolute best! I love how she was fun and friendly from the moment I met her. I always look forward to seeing her! She was the first person to ever color my hair and it looked amazing. I’m not coloring my hair anymore, but I go in for regular trims and every time is perfect. I highly recommend her! The salon is lovely – clean, open, decorative and there are a lot of products for sale.

I was here visiting for the first time from out of state and wanted more color in my hair. Jamie was my colorist and I told her what I wanted and she knew exactly what to do. It turned out just how I wanted. She also told me what to tell my stylist back home to do. She was also very helpful in places to go and see in the area. Will definitely go back to her again when I visit. The only reason for the 4 stars is because they have students that wash and dry your hair when done. That took as long as the color, but everyone has to learn.

I’ve gotten two haircuts from Jen Boto, and I think I’ve finally found my hair cut place! Jen gets what I want really easily (long layers with face framing) and is very efficient (shampooed, cut, and styled in 30 minutes). The salon has a nice atmosphere and they use great products.

HAIR STYLIST AT PAR EXSALONCE CAN’T CUT A SIMPLE BOB EVEN WHEN SHOWN A PICTURE!
Four months ago I went to Par Exsalonce and got a wonderful chin length bob from Keni. He listened carefully to my special needs (I had just lost lots of hair from surgery pain and medication). I was so delighted with Keni’s haircut ! I never imagined my ‘sick’ hair could look so good. Couple months later I called to schedule a trim with Keni and was told he was no longer there (it appears to be a revolving door at Par Exsalonce with stylists and staff) so, an appointment was reluctantly made with a stylist named Julie.
I showed Julie my cell phone pictures of the bob Keni had given me and told her about my hair loss and showed her how it was finally beginning to grow in again. Julie did not listen one bit about the bob I wanted, nor did she even attempt to replicate the chin length bob Keni had given me.
She haphazardly cut short layers everywhere into my hair making the pieces so short that they could not even be tucked behind my ears! The haircut she gave me left me looking like a mop head with different unmanageable lengths all over. I know this sounds unbelievable, but this is exactly what happened.
Not only does Julie not care, she doesn’t listen to a clients needs, is disrespectful of a clients needs and is clearly incredibly incompetent.
She gave me the worst hack job imaginable which will take 4 – 5 months to grow out. She has caused me so much pain, grief and sadness … that no one deserves.
DO NOT USE JULIE at PAR EXSALONCE … and take your chances with anyone else who cuts hair there.

I’ve been coming to see Jen Botto for about a year now and she is just fantastic, she does my cuts and my highlights. She is the most efficient stylist when it come to highlights. I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you are looking for a modern or up-​to-​date haircut. She’s always able to give me exactly what I want, and I can be pretty picky some times.

I’ve been going to them for almost 7 years and swear their customer service, stylists, and products are the best! Julie does such a great job with blondes and I have had some wonderful massages that got just the right spots. They just made the biggest gesture by making complimentary gift bags for my baby shower guests just because they couldn’t accommodate bringing out a manicurist to the event. These bags were amazing, and so is Donna the owner! I love this place, They have some superb summer deals to take advantage if as well.

My experience at Par Exsalonce has always been great. I am a stickler for excellent customer service and my initial phone call to this place was answered by a very friendly gal who gave me pricing on waxing and was very patient in answering all my questions… I was won over by the customer service and I have since been going to Cynthia for my waxing. She is absolutely awesome, very attentive to detail and always does a perfect job. I am happy to see that no matter how busy this place is (and they are always busy) their service is always great!

After reading the excellent reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give this place a try. And I’m so glad I did! I called at 12:30 on a Friday, and was able to be seen at 1:30 that same day.
The salon itself was very well kept and designed. And every staff member was very friendly.
I had the stylist Colleen. To put it simply, she’s awesome! I hadn’t had my hair cut in a really long time and she worked with me, listening to me and adding her input when I asked for it. The results: my hair looks amazing! She taught me how to do the style myself while she was blowdrying it and then again afterwards. The cut and style cost only $ 50 too, you can’t beat that! (I’ve paid way more for ‘top salon’ cuts that looked much worse). She’s very nice and funny and the conversation flowed the whole time. I will recommend her and this salon to anyone. I’ll definitely be back.

I followed my hairstylist, Jenn Botto over here from her old salon. She does an absolutely amazing job on my hair and is an extremely sweet girl and I would refer anyone to get their hair done by her!
Go see her! You won’t be disappointed!

Best place to go in North Scottsdale. My whole family goes to the same gal and she somehow works wonders on us all.
The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and Staci is the absolute best!
