Over Easy has been a favorite breakfast location of mine for quite a while now! The wait staff are friendly and they have a great patio for enjoying breakfast outside on beautiful, sunny mornings. The«Selena» is my go-to item of choice — love it!

When I asked the server to ask if she could adjust my bill since one of the eggs Benedict was overcooked, she came back with a, wait for it, $ 1 discount. The other egg was damn good though. I won’t be going back.

Very good food, service, and diner — like atmosphere and friendly staff. The eggs Benedict was very good, particularly the hollandaise sauce. The Wolfpack breakfast appealed to my husband for its name and taste. The place is clean. It’s a bustling place for a sunny breakfast or brunch. Has bar offerings.

Yummy everything! Eggs were cooked as asked for and the Banana-Pecan brioche French toast, eggs Benedict on cheddar jalapeño biscuits were great!

Didn’t even make it to ordering food! Horribly dirty inside and incredibly rude! I walked up the from door pushing a stroller and thought… Hmm maybe one of the employees not helping anyone just standing there will open the door… Yea Nope! They stood there watching while I completely struggled. They continued to ignore me when I fully entered the restaurant! I had to ask… Hey where can I sit? The pointed! Yep! You read that correctly, pointed over to the wall area?!? What ever. I walked over to the table that I assumed she was pointing to and sat. Eww and gross tons of food crumbs all over! So I moved to another table and it was even worst. Normally, I would think, ok whatever they were probably pretty busy but then I realized they only opened 15 min ago… The water that was brought out had something green floating around. So I left and didn’t order.

So I’m afraid this story will constitute my first one-star review. I remember, starting out as a reviewer on Unilocal, telling myself that I would never give anyone a one-star review. But unfortunately in this case, I believe the rating to be well-earned, and for a number of relatively objective reasons at that. :-/ To be honest, I was optimistic upon entering Over Easy because I grew up in New Jersey and was immediately drawn to the old diner style layout of the place. Felt like breakfast in NJ circa early 90’s. Not only that, but it is very close to where I work, so it seemed ideal. I was greeted upon entering and told to find a seat anywhere. The restaurant was completely empty except for two other patrons, so naturally I chose a booth. The first booth I turned to had coffee spilled on it and the remnant pool of a sweaty glass of water. Not a big deal. I turned to found a clean table instead. Once seated, I began to peruse the menu. I liked the range of options available, but what I didn’t appreciate were the prices. VERY few items on the menu under $ 10. Even my lemonade cost just shy of $ 4. The waitress who took my order was kind enough, albeit obviously uninvolved, perhaps distracted. I would describe her service as mediocre, at best. Unfortunately. Finally, my pancakes arrived. I say«finally», but it wasn’t THAT long of a wait. After my first bite, I thought that Over Easy had redeemed itself. It really was a very flavorful blueberry pancake.(It better have been for $ 8.50!) Sadly, the story doesn’t end with the first bite… I soon found out that the pancake had not been cooked through. When I got to the center of the pancake, the batter was still soupy so I couldn’t eat any more. And that about id it for me. Asked for my check, then left. As you can see, nothing«horrible» happened to me during my visit to Over Easy. This isn’t some subjective experience whereby I am harassed by an overwhelmed employee or have coffee spilled down my shirt. The overall experience itself was just poor. Between the low quality of service, low attention to details of cleanliness, low quality of food(really?!), and sky-high prices, I can’t see myself ever returning. Sorry Over Easy — you just didn’t do it for me. :(

Fantastic food, prompt, friendly service and a cool atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and our or orders came out so fast I couldn’t believe it! I ordered the crying pig omelet with hash browns and a bloody mary, absolutely fantastic. The covered patio looks inviting when the weather cools off. They also had a carry out option, which we may take advantage of at some point. I will definitely go back!

The food was good and I liked the place, but if you walk out from your meal feeling angry, it’s hard to give any more than one star. We had a Living Social deal. I guess they wish they hadn’t sold them because when I got my check there was a «$ 4.00 service charge». When I asked about it, I was told that they impose what amounts to a 40% tax on the deal«otherwise we don’t make any money» That is not disclosed anywhere so I’m disclosing it here.

I don’t just give out stars for the fun of it. This place has earned all 5. It’s not easy to find cause it’s in a complex off Bell Road, and because there’s a fitness center and an ice hockey rink here also it’s not always easy to find a place to park, but once you get here you’ll see that it’s totally worth it! All fresh and natural ingredients, gluten free is available, and there’s even a healthy menu hidden among the unhealthy deliciousness. Did I mention that it’s been on Guy’s Diners, Drive-ins & Dives?

If you’re a breakfast person then you’ll love this place. Everything on the menu looks pleasing, but I normally get the dessert pancakes or any of the breakfast sandwiches. We arrived here right after a great morning workout so we were hungry and ready to eat. It was about 10:15 and the place was a bit full. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated first available which ended up being outside on the patio. The weather is nice this time of year so I didn’t mind at all. Except the glare of the sun was reflecting off the stainless steel tables right in my eyes. Not pleasant at all, but not the restaurants fault. Service was good and I only had to ask the server for a refill of water once. She did forget my Cholula sauce when I asked for some though. Food was amazing and just the right serving to feel satisfied. I selected the Patsy breakfast sandwich with some added jalapenos-duh!

Let me clarify one thing. Breakfast is my favorite meal but I never real make it out for breakfast cause I like to sleep in on the weekends. Saying this. I was watching Triple D on the Food Network and saw this place. Home made everything. So the next day I had to go out of my way for brunch to try this place out. OE was hard to find but it’s between the Ice Den and Mountainside Fitness. There was so many good dishes on Triple D I couldn’t decide. So I went with Chicken Fried Steak, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. All I have to say is oh my gosh Yum Yum. CFS was so good but the gravy made it great. Gravy was home made with chunks of sausage. The hash browns are home made too and outstanding. My wife had the home made corn beef hash with poached eggs, and sweet potato tots. Great dish too. CFH was really good and the tots was really delish. My daughter had the Wolfpack with hash browns, eggs and bacon. She gobbled it down and the bacon was thick and really good. Service was really good. We only had to wait a few minutes to get our table. Once seated, we were served right away. Drinks were refilled on a regular basis. Brunch was so good. I can’t wait to go again and try more dishes. All I can say is great breakfast joint so enjoy.
