Russian Oasis

We bought a couple of gold leaf pendants from here (really pretty, they are real leaves dipped in gold or silver). Anyways, one day some how one leaf and a pinecone fell from my chain. The leaf broke and I lost the pinecone (someone found the leaf, I didn’t even notice they had fallen). I was so sad, because I love that necklace (I bought three pendants, two leaves and the pinecone to make it my own stylized necklace). Well, we went back, just to see if they could do anything for us, and they did! The owner replaced the broken leaf for free because she said ‘it’s really strange that it broke’. She has been selling them for a while, and nothing like that had happend yet. I was so happy! I had to buy a new pinecone, but at least it was only one thing I had to buy instead of two.
The store itself is very nice… a lot of typical Russian things, like the nesting dolls. They also have nice china and teapots, and of course jewelry. It’s a cute store with a very kind owner! :)
